This is a very helpful thread for every crypto enthusiast! From here, Many wallets are new for me, now I realize that we have plenty of wallets but still people need to buy a hardware wallet to be safe enough! I prefer application wallet than web wallet, especially for the myetherwallet, MEW connect app is better than myether web wallet. However, Thank you for making this thread. Good Luck

And I like one wallet. MEW. And with the advent of the mobile version, it became easier for me to manage my tokens. Of course there are many wallets, but only some of them can be used regularly.

I, am like person, who deals with cryptocurrency, should have reliable wallet, in which I am confident, that he will protect my cryptocurrency, so I use the Trezor hardware wallet.  I like him very much in his work.

this is very useful information. however, wallet hardware is the best choice compared to web wallet. security and performance are more reliable.
but everyone is free to determine what walleta they will use to save the assets they have.

You mention all kind of wallet. For me as a cryptocurrency trader, investor and hunter having a secure wallet will help you to keep your token safety and secure. I have hardware wallet that help me to keep my token secure. If you need a wallet I suggest you should hardware wallet.
What is hardware wallet? Is it different from Live Wallet?

Cryptocurrency hardware wallets are most secure electronic device designed to store private keys of your coins in an offline setting. The private keys and digital signatures needed to deposit and withdraw cryptos, are generated via these wallets.
Like the way you set up any wallet, you need to write down the seed word also known as recovery phrase on a piece of paper and store it in a safe place. Generally, we should prefer making 2-3 copies & distribute it to safeguard it.  And as your keys are offline, there is no possibility of getting hacked. This is why hardware wallets are tamper proof and most secured wallets for cryptocurrencies.
If you want to store Bitcoin & other Cryptocurrencies secure for a long-term, then you should definitely use a hardware wallet.
Most common hardware wallets
Ledger Nano S
TREZOR
KeepKey

The information you provided is so much useful, as for me I what i usually used are web wallet and desktop wallet.
I rarely or perhaps never utilize another type of wallet aside from those 2 i mentioned above.

Using web wallet is not recommended because your wallet will have more chance to be compromised.
Only use web wallet from a trusted website. But even trusted site such myetherwallet, was hacked long time ago.
Using hard wallet is recommended for everyone who want to more security in using cryptocurrency.

Very good explanation about all types of wallets. This information is really useful.
Since the topic is about cryptocurrencies wallets, I came across a project called Skelpy which provides privacy certificates to wallet providers. These kind of privacy certificates will insure the authenticity of the wallet which is important to increase the confidence of existing users and attracting new users for trading and storing.
Here is my article written on this topic on medium. If you like it, just give a clap!
thank you.

If you own many coins, then you understand that today it is very difficult to use a very large number of official wallets, so I think that all this is extremely bad. It would be right to use one for all as Trezor

When you want to choose what cryptocurrency wallet you want to use, you may consider few things before doing so.
What will you do with your wallet ? Do you want to use the wallet for trading ? or investing on project ? or holding coin ?
With this answer, you can proceed to use particular wallet like hardwallet/coldwallet to holding, hot wallet to trading, etc.
Hardware wallet are still quite the safest way to store up ones crypto that fits in any of the purposes you listed above but the only thing I don’t like about hardware wallet is that it can be misplaced easily, although misplacing it doesn’t mean one has lost his coins provided ones remembers his seed word but it means every time one loses such device, you have to purchase another one at a costly amount and have to wait for it to get shipped which what you need the wallet for then might be very urgent.

Software wallet would have actually be the best if not for vulnerability. Though till now, I still use software wallet but I do make sure it is very secured.

Only wallets with private keys are advisable to use other wallets like web wallet and mobile multiple wallets are not for holding your cryptos,if you respect your crypto investment then it is necessary to buy a hardware wallet which is the most secured wallet available to store crypto currencies in longer term.

Of all the wallets today, it is impossible to make a choice in favor of any one, because it seems to me that today they do not fit each other and it is best to use original wallets, although this generally does not give any guarantee for hacking.
