There are many wallets in cryptocurrency which must be considered carefully before using especially when you are a newbie because some of these wallets may not be that secured and may expose your resources to hackers.

Great thread and gratifying your patience to guide people on a matter of utmost importance as much as to be successful here. I definitely can't trust web wallet. It's important to always be aware of the updates of your operating system and even the wallets. Relying on third parties is like using 'internet banking'.

I think that we need a multi-block wallet that would correct the situation with individual wallets that we have today. I think that now you and I have the opportunity to do something useful.
According to me it is good to use only one wallet so that you will feel easy to keep your private key safer, when you will choose multi wallet then maybe you can forget your private key which is dangerous enough, I always suggest to use blockchain as wallet because it is safer than any other wallet and it has more reliability than other wallets.

If I would some wallet which is owned by third party - you do not own private keys, I would store my cryptocurrencies in a wallet that gives me something like Cobo wallet. But more safe way is store by your self when you own a private key.

Until now I have to be careful in choosing a crypto wallet, because I'm worried about hacking accounts that still appear frequently. I often read from a lot of people's experiences about how to anticipate prevention so that they don't experience hacking. It is very useful and useful.

If to store altcoins for a long time, then I use paper wallets. But if you need somewhere to store coins with smart contracts and tokens, you have to use the web version, although I understand that this is not very reliable. Thanks to your post, I learned about new wallets, thank you.

I like hardware wallets. I do not agree that hardware wallets are to use hard for beginners. I use trezor wallet and it is really very very easy to use.

This is a very useful thread for everyone, especially for the new starter! Though I did not know many names from here, thanks for making this thread! From all of these crypto wallets, I prefer hardware wallet but I like Coinbase wallet most. Their email to email transactions system is just out of the world! For ERC20, I think Myetherwallet still not enough good for everyone, So, Metamask and Imtoken are the best decision for it!

Hardware wallets are the best. They give peace of mind. My friend uses ledger but he's a heavy bag holder of Ripple, stellar and lumen. Asides the hard wallet, mobile wallets are the best. It is less prone to phishing attacks and the phone loss problems can be solved by writing out ur private keys and mnemonics in personal diaries so that they can be imported later

From the list you made, the most secure wallet is hard wallet i guess.
But the disadvantage is not only it is difficult for beginner, but you need to buy with your money to obtain it.
therefore, im not using hard wallet, but im using desktop wallet in my pc to keep it safe from any phishing.

And what's the point to paint wallets. All you need can be found on CMC. Yes or ask a specific question on the form. I do not even find the information when it is needed.
I don't see any crime in bringing information to those who need it,as you can see, bringing information to those who need it has earn OP some merit, may you just need to learn from OP.

Hardware wallet is the securest wallet, but yeah it is so expensive and not all people can buy it for no reason.
I still prefer web wallet for saving crypto for a beginner. because it is easy to use

im prefer using mobile wallet, because its more simple and effience regarding im only using phone rather than notebook for my crypto work, and its more simple to activated 2 way authentication security with phone.

Indeed, right now i am trying using mobile wallet too. Its more simple and dont have to sync with network. The most important thing is we should keep safe our seed phrase and not share it to anyone
Also prefer using mobile wallet since it is personally gaining access to your coins and I don't believe much on online wallets since there are various event that hackers are trying to hijack the particular website. I do have 2 different mobile wallets for my coins especially on bitcoin and ethereum based wallets.

What information you want to know, maybe you need to learn where you have to ask the question.Making the thread in the wrong thread will not give any answers for you.

very informative post. Personally I'm using only hardware wallet (I used in the past Trezor and now I'm using Ledger Nano S) and also use mywtherwallet combined to Ledger to manage many Eth tokens. I think that everyone that has more than 500$ invested in crypto  should use an hardware wallet to stay safe.
