Fact is the record for Afghanistan is not that bad against Bangladesh. Both team head to head meeting is 7 times. Bangladesh won 4 and Afghanistan won 3.

So I am expecting this match will be a tight one and Afghanistan will give everything to win this match and may be they will be able to win it. It's just 263 to score.

262, must say that AFG's bowlers have done a pretty good job again by restricting Ban's batsmen who are used to getting 300+ runs in WC. I feel AFG have started playing well too late in the WC matches when they have already lost their chance long back to qualify. Hope Ban win this match to save their name and fielding well will make a huge difference besides their bowling effort.

Al Hasan usually do not fail. I have seen him to score fifty easily and in this world cup he is is great form. Hopefully you win.

280 looks bit tough, Mujeeb and Rashid khan will bowl 4 overs out of 7 overs. for 280 they need atleast one big over, may be they can target seamer.

That England vs Sri Lanka made me broke LOL

Hope everyone had a great weekend with all the exciting cricket action! 

Obviously I was a little upset to see England lose on Friday, but Sri Lanka played well and England's batsmen flopped so it was a fair result.

Today's game is a tricky one for picking bets, but in the end I went with:

⚪ Al Hasan total: Over 34.5 (1.92)
⚪ Total ducks: Over 1.5 (2.16)
⚪ Team with highest score at 1st dismissal: Bangladesh (1.78)

Was almost tempted to go with Das instead of Al Hasan for the better odds, so glad I avoided that one now!

Who can remember my top three pick?

Place in top 4? I never considered then in this WC to pass the group stage.

You guys might noticed that I was struggling to find the third team to identify for the race of the cup winner  (I know England can not lift it). I think It will be New Zealand.

So here are my three team:

Match against Pakistan was one-sided tbh. India didn't sweat much to seal the victory. Guess you are talking about Afghan team. They did give a good scare to all Indian fans and the Team, when they bowled out India cheaply

If England get kicked out from the world cup then big lol from them English Media and Experts going to rip them apart and will grab the popcorn hehe

I think India had their lesson against Pakistan. Against Sri Lanka or any other team they will not take any risk. They already know that it's not gonna be easy for any team to lose matches and stay in the top four.

I am worried about England more than any other team.

Well the last two days indeed had some excitements in the WC. England lost against Sri Lanka ( I lost 0.05BTC :-( ), two close matches between WI vs NZ and India vs Afghanistan. Pakistan's performance. Seems like WC excitement has just started.

Is anyone thinking that Sri Lankan are the lucky bastards :-P

England - What about it?

The number 1 side, the firm favourites and also the side which has lost to Pakistan and Sri Lanka. They are now scheduled to face India, New Zealand and Australia, the in-form sides, and if they lose all the three matches, they remain stranded on 8 points and they could be ousted from the league stage.

However, even if they win one more match, their qualification is not guaranteed, although it does increase. If Sri Lanka win all their remaining three matches, they can finish with 12 points and overtake England.

What if they stay on 8 points:

They can qualify if:

--> Sri Lanka lose all their remaining matches

--> Pakistan and Bangladesh get defeated in at least two of their remaining games

--> West Indies lose one

Sri Lanka

6 points from 6 matches and the win against England gave them a massive shot in the arm. They have to play 3 more matches and they will be against

South Africa, West Indies and India. These matches won’t be easy, but they have the possibility of finishing with 12 points if they win all the three matches.

However, if they end on 10 points, they will have to sit and wait and hope England lose all their remaining matches, Bangladesh do not win more than two and Pakistan lose at least one.

They will be eliminated, if they do not win any of their matches.

Bangladesh


2 wins from 6 matches and they have to face Afghanistan, India and Pakistan. If they win all their matches, they will finish with 11 points and can still qualify if:

Sri Lanka lose all their remaining matches

England win not win more than one.

West Indies

Three points from six games and have three more matches against India, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.

Well, even if they win all their remaining matches, they will still hope England lose all their matches and, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka win not more than one each and Pakistan lose at least two.

Pakistan

Their campaign is very similar to 1992. They won against South Africa which means that are now with 5 points from 6 matches. They now face New Zealand, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. If they win all the three matches, they will end with 11 points and then hope England do not win more than one and Bangladesh and Sri Lanka lose at least one match.
