A bad run out. Grandhomme took too much risk but I do not blame him. It was needed. I am expecting 240 ish run. It's very hard to say now who will win but I will still side for New Zealand. May be this will be a very close match, whoever wins.

NZ has come back strongly and it looks like they may end somewhere in the vicinity of 250. Chasing a target of that magnitude will be difficult for Pakistan, especially against a pace attack which consists of Lockie Ferguson, Trent Boult and Matt Henry. If they win today, NZ will be in the semi-finals and Pakistan will be out of the tournament irrespective of the outcome of their remaining matches.

New Zealand are building a partnership with Neesham and Grandhomme in the crease and with 4 overs to go they might well score over 230 runs and if Pakistan is not able to pick wickets they might target to score over 250 runs to have a total to defend and New Zealand does have good bowlers who could swing the ball and create all the problems for the fragile Pakistan batting line up and if they do not play sensibly it will be a big total to chase if they score close to 250 runs.
Seems like the momentum has changed. It's with New Zealand now. New Zealand are building a partnership with Neesham and Grandhomme in the crease and with 4 overs to go they might well score over 230 runs and if Pakistan is not able to pick wickets they might target to score over 250 runs to have a total to defend and New Zealand does have good bowlers who could swing the ball and create all the problems for the fragile Pakistan batting line up and if they do not play sensibly it will be a big total to chase if they score close to 250 runs.
Even if they do 230 runs still they will give a hard fight to win it. In this stage of cricket mindset is very important. Pakistan needs the momentum and the confidence that they can win.

Pakistan should win this match if they stay away from trying anything foolish. And also, the New Zealand run rate is very low, and they are yet to cross the 100 mark with just 19 overs remaining. Even with the most optimistic scenario, they may end up in the range of 220-240. For New Zealand, they need to make sure that they bat through the full 50 overs.
Edit: the score just crossed 100. NZ are 100/5 after 31.3.

After losing the bet for England against Sri Lanka, I did not place any bet out of my pocket. The losing amount was 0.05BTC which gone out of my budget.What bets did everyone else go with today?
I used my free bet other day that got from my round winning but did not have any luck. Had some free bet in sportsbet too and lost them as well. So, I am considering myself out of luck and keeping myself away from losing more.
At the moment I am just trying to enjoy the match. Good thing that I am taking a break or I would lose more today coz for sure my bet would be for the Kiwis.

Dammit I had Williamson for over 48.5, thought I'd done well to avoid Guptill and Munro 
My hopes for breaking even now reside with Total fours: Under 45.5 (1.98) which might not be a bad bet considering how terrible the batting has been (only 12 fours so far)

The world cup is becoming more entertaining as the days are going. I can see New Zealand is losing this match and that is going to make England upset. As the days are progressing, the chances for England is fading and chances for Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are increasing.
I will wait till the end of this match. If there are no drama then Pakistan should win this match.

New Zealand loses their 5th wicket and Kane Williamson is out. NZ in big trouble. A win by Pakistan today will make things very complicated. It will leave them with 7 points from 7 games. England is having 8 from 7, while Bangladesh is also having 7 from 7. Sri Lanka has 6 from 6, with their next matches scheduled against South Africa and West Indies.

Battle between Pakistan vs New Zealand is 40 minutes away I think. They delayed the toss however seems like we will see a full match anyway. The inform New Zealand will be winning this match easily I think.
The unpredictable Pakistan will have no chance in my opinion unless they can do anything about Kane Williamson. English supporters will cheer for New Zealand for sure to keep their hopes alive for the Semi.
I see a lot of us still have not picked our team. I suggest to do it. The free pick you only get for 5 matches so if you are expecting a free winning pick and if you already had five picks then you are going to be doomed :-P

The competition for the 4th spot between England, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka is intensifying currently although I do agree with your opinion that Pakistan is literally out unless a miracle happens. Loving the intensity of this tournament.
Chances for Srilanka is almost zero, they had defeated England doesn't mean they will be able to defeat SA and WI.If ENG win one match, I think they will be the 4th, provided that Bangladesh will face India and Pakistan.

Everyone is assuming that England will lose to India on Sunday. I would say that the chances are 50/50. The probability of an English win against India is higher than one against New Zealand. That said, I don't think that Pakistan is left with any realistic chance of qualifying. That leaves three teams fighting for the 4th semi final spot: England, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is having an extra match, and two of their matches are against weak teams (South Africa and West Indies).
50/50? Seriously? I think Pakistan is unlucky here and Sri lanka very lucky, because Pakistan had to share their 1 point with sri lanka. Srilanka enjoying freebie.

I have been longing to see an Indian match and I can see that there are 4-5 days gap between the matches that India plays compared to the other teams. Is it me only who thinks this way? As mostly other teams have played 7 matches and India has always been the team playing less number of matches compared to others. I think it gives them an advantage of practicing during this time but I am too impatient.

I see Pakistan will win against Af, lose against NZ but not sure about Bangladesh (may be they will lose, Bangladesh is a better team). So, Pakistan is going to have 7 points.
