Thank you code3gen.

Got it to hash Power Mining pool with right Wallet.

I had to put it on DHCP to get it permanently online.

The zig z1 hashes less then advertise and seems to be unstable. % of rejected shares is high (10 to 15%).

PowerMining.pw
here is my feedback.

got the miner 3 days ago

to make it go online had to change the ip to .10 instead of .100 and put manually DNS server name

then tried different pools. nicehash, MPH, powermining. all same performance, 1 board not hashing fine.

changing frequency doesn't seem to do a big deal, with 900 one board stays dead all the time, with 800 dies after a while.

sent message to crypto drilling (shop I bought) and told me to freq 845 (which I can only put 850)

waiting for their technical team to reply..

this is my configuration

any feedback or suggestion, very welcome

The Z1's seems to send a lot of stale shares(these are being shown as rejects on powermining pool, and seems to be doing the same on nicehash i see). That is software related issue, so i hope they will supply an update soon to fix this.

Hard to see your image https://www.screencast.com/t/8cvezEcAnD, but seems like lots of chips that does not work? If so, try to reduce frequency slightly.. You won`t get advertised hashrate, but maybe some more than now if those chips becomes active again. You would probably have to return the faulty hashing board

You guys got any solutions to control the fan speed? I live in an apartment complex and you can hear it in the hallway a door down lol. I'm bound to get a noise complaint from the police soon. It's annoying cuz the mines are running at 37C so plenty of leeway to run slower.
Take-off outtake fan. And plug a simulator that fools the miner.

Dayun Miner is the new name for PinIdea. It is evident just from the design and build quality of the miner - which is very good, I might add.

Can somebody get a full raw image of the USB key (dd clone) instead of just the files?

source that PinIdea = Dayun?
yes, I found that from one of config files

Try NH or MPH, if those work then the Z1 is not compatible with that pool

What did you pay for it?  One of my suppliers in China quoted $4600 (this is just the machine, no shipping, psu, etc)...

It looks interesting, but isn't Vert and Mona supposed to be switching to a new algo in Q1?  My supplier also said this is going to be the only production run of these devices (due to this) - which could be a good or bad thing, depending on how you look at it...

The manufacture is a bullshit! They said this is the only batch of 2400 miners in oder to assure the first batch miner's profit.
But they just released a new version miner of 7.2 GH/s.

Thanks for your help so far.

My network is 192.168.168.x

and it doesn't find anything connecting to 192.168.168.100 or 192.168.168.1

192.168.168.100 ? Are you sure?

You need to be on a 192.168.1.x network to talk to 192.168.1.100, or just change your subnet from 255.255.255.0 to 255.255.0.0

HEEEEEELP!  Huh Huh Huh Huh

Hi there! Anyone experiencing also the circles turning and turning and no hashing?

Would be great if someone could post how the updating of firmware works. It seems that its not that easy.

Thanks!

You need to program in your wallet address and the correct pools before it'll stop displaying that. Make sure it says online in the corner as well.

When you say "programm in" do you mean simply set our pools? We somehow dont make it to set that "offline" in red to be green and "online"...what could it be?

Yes. Hashcat, 8 pcs GF1070 and carefully, with love, selected dictionaries. Smiley
