There are so many old coins that have died in my wallet, we can't set them up again because their prospects have run out, now what we need to look for in new altcoins with lots of prospects and lots of protection so that later the coins we hold don't die like the coins we used to have get.

I also have number of coins in my wallet that can be considered as dead. Through the years that have passed, I have come to accept it and learned not to let my mind linger on this lost profits because I cannot do something about it anymore. Now, I am focused on scrutinizing the projects that I get involve into and conduct forecasts with regards to the potential of the coins.

This step is very correct, instead of wasting time on coins that have died, indeed when talking about losses everyone gets these losses, but if we keep talking about these dead coins, we will be even more lazy to invest, it's better if the coins that have died are forgotten of course, there is no further movement of the coin even though it is done in any way to be pumped back, just focus on new projects that are able to generate and can cover the capital of the dead coin.

I am glad to know that you agree with me. It is pointless to stay down because of dead coins, it is okay to grieve over it but then we must move on. Before, I also had wishful thinking that maybe someday this coins will just pump but I also realize that thy will be done. No matter what happens, I will focus at the present and strive to be wiser in making decisions.

Dead coins or tokens are usually owned by wallet owners, I also have dozens of dead tokens that I got from airdrops and bounties, of course we can't do anything with these dead coins, our hope is of course the dead coins will immediately rise and skyrocket so we can make them assets.

There is no way to manage dead coins other than forgetting them and looking for other coins in various projects that will certainly be successful in the future, currently I myself also have a lot of coins that now have no price on the market.

Do you hold any dead coins?

'Dead Coins refer to cryptocurrencies that have been abandoned, used as scam, their website is down, has no nodes, has wallet issues, doesn't have social updates, has low volume or developers have walked away from the project.'

How should we manage dead coins?

I have never held a dead coin at this time, usually coins that have been declared undeveloped will be scammed automatically or even considered dead, for the team that works on this coin will usually shift their work to other coins, the website cannot be reached, even for promotions at the social media level will just disappear, there is no way to manage dead coins, considering that future prospects will not run according to the targets they have set, essentially dead coins will be very difficult to manage.
different from me, there are many worthless dead coins from the bounty results, indeed we can't do anything about them other than just as a display in the wallet. and the last hope is to hope that the coin will pump suddenly and we can use it at that time and sell it immediately
since 2018 that more and more dead coins are accommodated in the wallet and it will no longer be possible as you said that the coin will pump again. if before 2017 it is still possible to happen, because they usually hold it for a certain time, will enter it on the stock market at the right time, so that many coins are actually a surprise from the price.

not for the 2018 period and above, there will be dead coins pumping, because it is certain that the owner has created a new project again, because they are only looking for temporary profits not for development purposes.

I already accepted that reality, I also have a lot of altcoins in my wallet that I purchased in 2018, and unfortunately most of them are ER20 tokens which does not have a good value, and honestly, they are already almost worthless for years, so I just consider them as dead.

There is no way to manage dead coins, it won't give you anything if it is kept, dead coins will usually just disappear in the cryptocurrency world over time, it will be a waste of time to maintain them, because there is no room for anyone to manage these coins let alone hope for potential good for this dead coin, it's a good idea to think about other things than managing dead coins that are unclear.

Think better
September 16, 2021, 01:47:07 PM
When someone is disappointed because the coin dies of course it will make it difficult for the team to respond and convince new investors, when they try their best to add to the market then many investors will immediately sell so they can't control the price, the easiest way is to create a new project.

Agreed, I think that's how it is for handling dead coins. Most investors will be more interested in a new project than in reviving an old project. For projects that are not taken care of and have dead coins, it will not be easy to develop them. Or in general, Coin dead = project dead.
Just leave the coin and let it be a memory for us.

whether the magic will be able to update ? it seems that coin dies is very difficult to be able to grow again even though everything is still running by itself. because no one wants to do development anymore, maybe even the owner might have created a new project again.

The miracle I mean here is indeed almost impossible, logically it would be a waste of time if they continued to develop a long-dead coin project, it would be more useful to create a new project like you said, because everyone already thinks no there will be a new future for a coin that has lost interest and transactions in it.

Unfortunately, i have hundreds of dead coins in my wallets back from 2017, when ETH tokens were growing like mushrooms. I am still hoping that 50 years from now, there will be collectable market out there where people will buy rare and old shitcoins.
Only thing that annoys me is that eth scan sometimes mistakes coins with others and shows value where there is none.

There is no point in selling coins that are at a low price. I think that such coins really need to be held and just wait for the time when the price for them will be acceptable in order to be able to sell them and get a good profit. What you said about the collector's market is a very interesting idea, most likely it will still appear over time and you will be able to find interesting tokens on your forgotten wallet and sell them at an excellent price. And this will definitely justify the time that was spent on the hold.

I think that everyone who started crypto money in some way has it in their hands. I have lots of stocks available. But there can be surprises in crypto money. Many cryptocurrencies haven't been a breeze for years, let alone moving. But when I least expected it, he left me money. That's why I don't suggest you lose hope. But I don't want you to make such mistakes in the future. While making your investments, try to make better investments by doing better research by taking lessons from your past investments.

I also still hold coins as you mean, namely dead coins, some of the coins I still hold are ANTS, KANCHAT, and JURY ONLINE (JOT), it seems that some of these coins have been abandoned by the developers so there are no more updates through their social media.

Dead coins occur because of their inability to survive in the crypto market, whether in terms of market capitalism that is not increasing or the interest of investors is decreasing, there is nothing that can be done about dead coins, only a miracle can bring dead coins to life.
Yes, I agree with you, coins die because of their inability to survive in the crypto market and do not want to develop properly, so there is no longer any exchange market willing to accommodate, because transactions do not go as desired. investors don't want to glance and make purchases so the coin can't grow because no one wants to buy it.

whether the magic will be able to update ? it seems that coin dies is very difficult to be able to grow again even though everything is still running by itself. because no one wants to do development anymore, maybe even the owner might have created a new project again.

Easy make a copy of the wallet.dat file and wipe the wallet from your computer.  If for whatever reason one day it comes back download a new wallet and use your old wallet file.  I have a bunch of dead wallet files lol.  Grin

Dead coins... Got hundreds of them  Grin
It's my personal cemetery of dreams... They will sleep forever in my wallets, reminding me that everything in this world is mortal  Smiley

Somebody should do a dead coin NFT. I have over a hundred, Lebowskis, Klondike, Megacoin, etc. They remind me of some great times in the early crypto scene.
Back then it was like a game, today it is serious business.
