dude did u cheked out btc guild?

registration is like enter usernanme and ur paswrord

account created

create worker

work created

start mining in about 50 seconds

no deepbit buslhit:)
dude that's totally off topic for this thread

I started Eligius, which is a better pool than even BTCGuild, long before BTCGuild existed!

registration is even easier - you don't need to register at all lol

start mining in the 2 seconds it takes to paste your bitcoin address in your miner

no btc guild registration lameness:)

oh and eligius is no fee too lulz. why pay to use a pool

I don't think Deepbit has updated their pool servers since before X-Roll-NTime was invented  Roll Eyes

I have also felt this .. connectivity issues on this pool .

I have since moved  same setup and no problems

ADD : Embarrassed
I have since found that the connection issue is caused by long polling failing

All paid signature campaigns should be banned.
Pool may be unavailable for ~15 minutes due to router firmware update at our datacenter.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Perhaps a hardware issue is causing the "long poll too fast" message?

Is deepbit down?

My miners are getting tons of invalids (10%) on deepbit and my 7970 with Diablo complains:

[2/24/13 1:41:50 PM] ERROR: Cannot connect to www.deepbit.net: Bitcoin returned
error message: Deepbit.lib.InfoException: You are reconnecting to long poll too
fast

Something is amiss...
I have been getting this message for a while now.  Switched pools as I am only showing about 1/2 my max hash rate on deepbit.  Did deepbit abandon getwork and move to stratum?  When I moved to another pool they just warned me to switch to stratum - but they are still accepting getwork until I update.  Will update next week.  Is this just another DDOS attack?  What is up?

I made a major mistake and withdrew bitcoins from my deepbit to the wrong address. I have contacted the person who received the coins. When they return them will they go back to deepbit? Is the send address on my deepbit account unique so it's obvious whose account they came from?

if they're returning them to the address they were sent from, they'd go back to 1VayNert3x1KzbpzMGt2qdqrAThiRovi8 which is deepbit's universal address and is not unique to you or your account

You may want to PM [Tycho] and Deepbit an email the pool about this too in case they missed these thread posts.
