They do, they just keep the NMCs.
Proof?

Either they're keeping them, or they're a bunch of ignorant idiots... or just lazy  Tongue

... or they aren't hopping on the bandwagon and simply don't mine them... Roll Eyes

Is it planned for DeepBit to support Merged Mining (Bitcoind + Namecoin, like BTC Guild does) in the near future?

Proof?

NMC are basically just a "byproduct" of Bitcoin mining. So every pool without NMC payout keeps them.

LOL...not quite.

They have to implement merged mining in the backend to try shares for the NMC side also.  Every pool does not do this.

Anybody else getting no connection?

This is about the 4th time in 4-5 hours that I've had connection problems. They usually last for a few minutes.

Funny how cgminer is recommended as a solution to the problem, but isn't in the list of recommended software on the deepbit front page.  Wink

i have problem with GUIMiner, where i can find Phoenix for w seven?
You can check miner threads here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=42.0
Also you can try cgminer if Phoenix doesn't works on your system.

Anyone having an issue with payments? The site lists the payment as being processed and links to this as the block explorer link under the payment date section to a link that is "No such transaction"
Was it automatic or "instant" payment ?

No, we don't have any issues with payments at this moment.

Think for yourself

This is over 2 hours later, I should have seen something on blockexplorer by now shouldn't I?

An extremely large round/block was just completed.  So give it some more time to show up.

Thankfully haven't had any problems with GUIminer and Phoenix on any of my cards here.  Both the CUDAminer (my Nvidia cards) and Phoenix (my many AMD cards) are working fine.  Too bad for others using the other miners though.

my miners are also having the same problem using GUIMiner, they will hash and connect but they won't find any accepted/stale shares at all. They worked fine until i stopped mining on one, then tried to restart it. my other two cards kept going until i restarted hoping to fix the problem.

Using GUIminer. OpenCL isn't working.
Switched to Phoenix and it seems to be working fine.

EDIT: OpenCL gives "Unexpected error"

EDIT2: 7 of 8 workers are running OpenCL just fine. Only 1 of 8 that doesn't work well on OpenCL.

I can confirm that mine GUIMiner isnt working either. Getting tons of:
2012-02-04 22:07:01: Listener for "PH1": pit.deepbit.net:8332 04/02/2012 22:07:01, Unexpected error:
Can you try any other miner like Phoenix or cgminer and tell us if it's working or not ?

Phoenix using guiminer seems to be working but I can confirm that (using guiminer) that the default get the error: "2012-02-04 15:03:57: Listener for "Default": pit.deepbit.net:8332 04/02/2012 15:03:57, Unexpected error:"

This was working yesterday but today the guiminer is not working without having to switch to Phoenix.
