Timelord2067 at the time merit was introduced, i was rebellious lol and made a crypto.ba forum to teach people about crypto, and we did good job, still doing it.

there no single evidence that i sold it, except i was so high when i asked that kid "would you buy mine"  Cheesy

i was so impressed that someone would buy account that i had to ask would he buy?

after that zepher (god rest his soul) gave me that pesky  red flag and i tried many times, he was so angry and confusing

i left like a bad man and started my own forum based on balkan languages.

and icing on the cake, when my community started to tell me, cmmon lets prove you didnt sold your account, i came here and i saw MERIT?! oook?!

i didnt realised that is something big, then i tipped 20 merits per my community memebers, and that way i killed my self lol

thanks @nutildah you are only one who belives me!

and yea, im balkan guy, and i have 900+ members on crypto.ba and 300+ members on discord that can prove im  RUX Cheesy

from what i have understand, i have "yellow" flag now, and that can be removed if someone give me positive feedback?

I was a close friend of Zepher. I believe you after reading the threads. I'm sorry, but even if someone gives  you a green trust, it will still show his yellow as long as he remains in DT2. Don't worry about it.

Zepher was a bit over-protective of the forum for a period of time, and he did it well. Sorry you sort of ended up being collateral damage over joking, but sarcasm isn't recognized in writing really. Huh

Cheers! Btw, I have a yellow mark too, but I wear it with honor! Grin

Edit - left you a neutral, hope it helps. Just stay out of trouble and don't leave, that's silly. Tongue

how did you get to activity 1192+ and not know some of these basic things that keep the Forum going?

Because he was gone during the introduction of the flag system and came back only recently.

FWIW @Rux, I believe you that you didn't sell your account.

seljačino Cheesy

Im gonna do EX-Yugoslavia languages

add Ex-Yu

If it was sold, it must have been sold to another Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian.

However, its unfair to assume that it has been sold based on the lack of supporting evidence.

You also didn't really understand how merits work so I don't blame you for that either.

The person who left you your one trusted red tag has passed so there's no chance of removing that tag, unfortunately.

I removed my red flag that i gave to him, i over-reacted on his comment.

im kinda lost here and i think its better i just leave btctalk and leave you guys be, no way i will ever clear my name on this

thanks all have good life and sorry if i hurted anyone

i wish you all best life i will just carry on learning people about blockchain in general but on crypto.ba

It's still showing that you support a Flag against Vod - perhaps before you go you remove your support of the Falg you created against Vod and possibly answer one small question - how did you get to activity 1192+ and not know some of these basic things that keep the Forum going?

After i told them what happened some of them registered just to state their point, but true, it looks awfully shady   Grin

It does.  Grin

and you gave me another red flag for trying to clear my name?

damn guys, some of you are really hard on me, i don't understand why

thank you for @vod for ruining my account i hope you are happy

tbh im sad to see what you guys did to bitcointalk forum

LOL bro. What are you talking about? Vod didn't give you a red flag, you gave him a red flag! (well, yellow technically). He left you a neutral trust feedback, which is hardly the end of the world. I have no idea if you sold your account or not but you definitely over-reacted here. Not a great way to make friends and influence people.

That depends on your source amount Wink If you're not low on sMerit, there's no reason to skip certain posters. I don't skip them, and still I feel like I've been slacking the past few days. My remaining source amount keeps growing.
Yeah, I have wonder how many smerits you could have hold with your 7k plus nice merits. How did it happen that you reach that far? It is very rare to see here with other users but I know you had done so well here in the forum.

BTW, it was a little bit off topic to talk about merits here when the topic is more on trust system. I just wanting to see if there could bean updated in regards to the system.

I had seen a user in his thread suggesting to make trust system visible in their local board or something like that in a certain section to avoid making transaction on those users which has been tagged with negative trust. I was thinking if it was been discussed here.

Well, hopefully in the new forum we can get some changes for the betterment of the user's experience of the  new forum.

Considering all this, (if I was also a merit source) I would also give preference to beginners.

Didn't you just contradict yourself?  You agree you should not consider who the author is, then you consider legendaries less worthy of merit.  :/
The Pharmacist doesn't contradict himself.

If I understand correctly, he is trying to abstract from his social circle, and from his trust list, (impartially evaluating quality posts). And nobody says that the Legendary members' posts are less worthy ... and I probably agree that you (Vod), The Pharmacist, LoyceV etc. are always in the spotlight anyway.

So encouraging the same members does nothing to expand community. Considering all this, (if I was also a merit source) I would also give preference to beginners.

I would use a mod that toggled display of the poster information, although I could figure it out based on quotes.
Vod, this is certainly a good idea, but we are all human, and we want to see and know with whom we communicate and whose messages we read.

Honestly, merit should be for good posts ONLY and that's it. People shouldn't think to whom they will send merits, they should rather focus on posts.
Totally agree with this, and it goes double for merit sources.  I try not to give too many merits to the Legendary members who are usually the focus of a lot of drama anyway.

For example, a merit source may not want to give many merits to a user who excludes them, but has incentive to send many merits to a user who includes them..
Just speaking for myself as a merit source, I think I've seen a list of members who've included me in their trust list but damned if I can remember any of them--and I don't use merit-giving as a political tool.  I've given merits to members I don't like, don't agree with on a lot of things, you name it.  To tell you the truth, I completely forgot that merits had anything to do with the DT system.  I stopped paying attention to all of that around the time Theymos introduced the flag system.

Honestly, merit should be for good posts ONLY and that's it. People shouldn't think to whom they will send merits, they should rather focus on posts.

A forum modification could remove all poster information so you could only see the post content.
That would be a terrible idea! It will basically turn the forum into a random collection of anything on the internet. I want to read posts that are likely to be worth my time, and a username helps to make a first selection.

Well, then you wouldn't be forced to use the mod.  Smiley

Are you trying to say that I left you negative, called you scammer and included you to my trust network?

Yes.
So, according to you, you are tagged by me as scammer and at the same time included to my trust network  Cheesy Cool Roll Eyes Back to ignore, LOL!

System should be trollproof no? As long as their are more non-trolls than trolls..
Consider it pen testing, or possibly trolls should have their own representation too?

It’s just one troll.. Just wait until their are 20 or 50 trolls making DT1..
Imagine the day the DT system is ran with the morality of amaclin and co..
Sometimes admin has to step in and do certain things, I just can't understand why some users are still in DT lottery while their chance to become DT1 is nearly equal to 0, still, some of them were "elected":

Added:
4. Legendary peloso (Trust: +2 / =3 / -4) (171 Merit earned) (Trust list) (BPIP)

21.
Hero Member wolwoo (Trust: +0 / =3 / -2) (657 Merit earned) (Trust list) (BPIP)

It's waste of DT space.

Better think twice about the morals of the user before sending them too many merits..
Where did all those merits come from that voted peloso onto DT1?
Which sauces are responsible for this irresponsibility?

If some random scammer made good and helpful post then they did and they should get merit for it, no matter scammer or not. What I am trying to say is that merit shouldn't be metric for trust.

Perhaps, users who are excluded from DT1 for I don't know, few months and they are still in DT lottery should be blacklisted. Just an idea.

peloso
I am pretty sure there are more better candidates for DT1, peloso is wasting "lottery space" and someone who is trolling whole trust system:

...should be blacklisted, I am not sure why he isn't.

But surely they won’t get the required merits no matter how good their posts are.. Right?

Is this how the merit and DT system is SUPPOSED to work?
Trolls and scammers are SUPPOSED to make DT as long as they and their friends make intelligent posts?

Maybe... theymos is an anarchist afterall..
