I can't wait to see the fight between Daron Williams and Frank Gore.
I think Williams has a serious advantage in the ring. He has the height, longer reach and I heard he wrestled before the NBA.
On the other hand, Gore has been training a lot for this event.
I think it's going to be a really good match.

We've seen lots of exhibition fight arrangements which already crosses out with different sports which do really sucks but if this the way on where
people do get entertained then so be it.

I wouldnt be surprised if another exhibition match would be already on the line.

Deron Williams is fighting under a professional match. It's more sense to watch compared to real exhibition matches. It just looks like an exhibition matches because Deron is not a boxer, and so is his opponent.

I don't know why they ended up like that.

Easy money after their glory days on their respective careers.
Well, we know that once things had been set up then there would really be that main aim or priority which is to make money aside on giving out entertainment and this had become the main trend now?

Have the same questions on mind too about on how they end up like that but for sure the most nearest thing that comes into our mind
is about money of course.

Anyway, does anybody think that the rise of celebrity boxing matches is already reaching a bothersome point?
yep, even the McGregor vs Mayweather fight bothers me(it's probably just me though). but what bothers me the most is the Mayweather vs logan fight. I mean, isn't it a little insulting to other boxers who wanter to fight Mayweather that a YouTuber who has only been into boxing recently been given a chance to fight one of the best boxers in the world. and if you watched the match you can clearly see that the two didn't even try to give a good show.
Same here mate, I really thought that I'm the only one who is bothered by this kind of situation. Especially that Mayweather vs Logan Paul fight is so boring and dry to watch, it's like they're just in a session or sparring with each other. It's so unworthy to watch. And here again, Mike Tyson vs Logan Paul  Undecided I mean, I'm excited to watch and see Mike fighting again but Logan Paul? Nah, it's not exciting for me.
What I'm trying to say is it's okay for those famous celebrities or former atheletes from other field to join boxing, it's just that they're making a shortcut just because they're famous. It's so unfair for other real boxers that have been trying hard to make their name known.
I'm just excited to see how Tyson will beat Logan Paul, hopefully, he will not disappoint me because I still think at this age now, he can knockout Logan Paul which is not a professional boxer or was once a professional boxer. Logan will only stop fighting if he finds someone that will teach him a hard lesson and that should be Mike Tyson.
Obviously, Mike will eventually beat Logan Paul and there's no doubt about it even if Mike is old enough today, he's still capable to release some serious blows and knock Logan out cold. What I wanted to see in this coming match is Mike making fun of Logan ans schooling him not to bump against world champions for fun and money because Logan isn't worthy even for a tiny percent.

I know Deron Williams is good at making big shots in basketball but I have never heard or read that he involves in a brawl fight just like Rodman, what's the reason for picking him, and what's his qualification, boxing is a high-risk contact sport, there should be a stipulation on how new fighters like Deron can go, I don't expect much on this fight, because this will turn out to be an amateur fight because his opponent also does not have experience in boxing.

Who says this is going to be a formal professional fight?
This is like a sports celebrity boxing and for purely entertainment purposes only. Of course you will not expect much from them in terms of boxing technically.
Just because Deron wasn't involved into a brawl in the NBA doesn't mean he can't punch. Everybody knows how to punch. Again, this is for entertainment purposes only. If the fans love it they'll probably create more matches with sports celeb soon lol.

Correct and there's nothing at stake like professional record on this and this dudes just to want to fight for pay check also for fame that's why we cannot expect any huge box fight on this event, but although this fight is good to see knowing these two guys are popular and to see which one of them will sleep in the ring. But for this fight I will go with Paul although if there's a betting option I will not bet since this is kinda not good to place some money since this is just a exhibition fight.

As someone from Illinois, I have to say that I am pretty excited for this fight! For those who may not know, Deron was a star guard for the University of Illinois. He led them to a championship game (which they unfortunately lost) and had a very good NBA career. My best memory of him is beating the University of Arizona in what’s considered one of the NCAA tournaments greatest games. Will be rooting him on.

There's a little to slim chance that Tyson will lose on this fight since first he is professional boxer plus he is a former champion so despite on the age for sure this one is a little issue since for sure experience will really matter here knowing there are so many big fights what Tyson go to. I wonder on how many rounds will this fight take and also I'm little excited to see this match.

So long they are attracting viewers, they will hold this kind of boxing match.
Also, it means that there are bidders for this fight to happen.
I don't think this will stop anytime soon as they can still gain viewers and they are still earning money from this.
Their respective promoters are good in looking for opponents that can sell the fight.
Maybe, we will see more of them in the next coming months, those ex-athletes who want try their hands inside the ring.

Business as usual. The money they are expecting to receive here is almost the same or close as the real boxers getting.

Who doesn't like that setup? It's an opportunity after a retirement.

You are correct that will be seeing more unexpected popular names that will join the boxing craze.

His opponent does not have a boxing experience like him, they fight because they have an interest in boxing and probably because of the money too. I think it's still interesting as we have no idea what they will do in the right, yes it could be an amateur fight, but who cares, besides this is just an exhibition fight so we should not expect too much.
Because of money too? Of course they've been doing these dancing on the canvass for the sake of money which its always be the main purpose and
entertainment is only the second.

Since Jake Paul is more of considering his boxing career as a professional match, I hope he will choose the next opponent that is also an active boxer in the same league. He can still change people's views about him and regain respect. Totally different from Logan Paul that uses boxing as a form of easy-revenue scheme and challenges famous boxers so he can take advantage of their popularity.

I do remember seeing jake paul fight but they're doing it again?

Man these streamers need to learn when to stop their bull shit drama of fake fights none of their fights are real and Logan vs Mike proves it.

Those streamers you are referring to won't stop doing that exhibition matches. That's what they choose as a hobby, activity and at the same time entertainment. You will see lots of matches in the future involving the Paul Brothers.

The topic is about Deron Williams, a former NBA cager, involved in an actual boxing match where in the first place, he is not a professional boxer but just like the sports and has knowledge about it.

The event between Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul is a professional match. There's no exhibition match as an undercard therefore, the fight of Williams is also a professional one but I'm not sure if the boxing league will revert it to an exhibition which I doubt.

Well we are not talking about streamer here, we’re talking about a retired NBA play to enter into boxing ring and fight under the undercard match with Fury vs Paul. I wonder as well on how much money involve on this to force them to back from their retirement, looks like a good offer not to say no at all.
You can’t make them comeback if there’s no money so technically, it is based on their contract and the first thing you step up into the ring, you already have the money no matter what the result is and that is the purpose of the management. Well, this can still be an exciting fight so nothing to worry if you just watch it and not to bet at all beside this is just an undercard you can still see the main event after this.

But why would they? Would you stop doing something that while ridiculous was making you a lot of money in the process? Most people would not stop and will keep doing that activity and this is what is happening here.

Until people stop watching these kind of fights then we are going to keep getting them, so just ignore them if you do not like them and if you give it enough time they will go away, still it could take years before that happened.
