Before I'm doing some research about new potential project to invest in, I'm first checking their website - how is design looking and how much effort they put in making their website and other official documents. I don't really believe that projects with poor marketing and design ideas can make it to market leaders, and we can also see that from current technology giants how much money they are putting in well thought design and marketing ideas. So yeah, design is definitely one of the most important aspects of every project.
Very much so, a lot of the projects do not seem to understand this and they can end up going with very unprofessional designs which can affect the progress of their project and can actually turn people off from investing in the project. In everything that you do you have to make sure that your designs are up to standard in a way that can impress people

In cryto it's more of the overall project that they become successful. We can also include the design of the product of a certain project but I would go for the business model instead of this one and also prioritize the team, value of the idea and the support of the community.
Yes, it is. A good looking website, whitepaper, and media is very important to catch the investors attention! Without classy design, a good project can fail too! The design has a very high importance for the ICO projects! I am an ICO investor, and I always prefer a good and unique design website and whitepaper. Though people are being greedy, many ICO project used the same design/theme for their ICO website and I ignored them as usual.
As a rule, the design adds the first impression of the project and already think whether it is worth further to get acquainted with the project!

There are too many ICO to skimp on the information and what investors often approach as a website or logo. If the design of these things is bad, it will lead to investors underestimating the project. This is also one of the reasons why ICO projects fail
