I speculated that it's either Ryan,

a. Knows that he is taking PEDS
b. Doesn't know that he is taking PEDS
c. Doesn't know, but he did take contaminated supplements that's why he tested positive

And we all know that Ryan is good for business in boxing and this could flew under the radar and be quiet about it. But there could be someone that break this news to someone that's why it become so big right now.

I’m pretty sure that he will notice that there’s something on his drink once he intake it since its effect is very noticeable once you already ingested this kind of drug.

I just read this news recently on social media but I’m not sure the authenticity of this report since the source is not that reliable also what I don’t understand if this news is true on why the heck the coaching staff can manage to smuggle this kind of drug on the middle of the fight, do boxing organizer doesn’t check luggage of each camp.  Huh
No, you don't know if what you drink are contaminated or now, let's say your drink Protein powder that you bought in the market, maybe it's been been tainted along the way or you ingest food that has been contaminated, like what happens to Canelo during the GGG fight wherein he consume beef from Mexico in which they feed them with steroid to grow big. So you wouldn't notice it until you are being tested and blood taken from you and urine sample.

Quote
Canelo Alvarez said contaminated meat led to his positive test for clenbuterol ahead of his May fight with Gennady Golovkin.

Golden Boy Promotions said in a statement (via Boxing Scene) that Alvarez is moving his training camp from Mexico to the United States, and Alvarez said he'd be willing to take additional drug tests.

"I am an athlete who respects the sport and this surprises me and bothers me because it had never happened to me," he said. "I will submit to all the tests that require me to clarify this embarrassing situation and I trust that at the end the truth will prevail."

Not defending Ryan, but let's put it this way, a boxer was also found to be positive but he didn't win the fight, Michel Rivera suspended six months, fined 15% of purse for failed drug test.

So there is an argument that even if you uses Peds, it will not help you win a fight as the example above. Ryan doesn't look jack at all with all this Peds accusations though. So this remains to be seen and the timing of the released of this news, when everyone was celebrating Ryan's victory, they try to destroy and discredit it by some entities.

You know how this all will end? Does not matter if he was clean or not. Does not matter if he failed his weight. Does not matter if he won belts or not. Does not matter if he drink or smoke. Does not matter if he cheated or won unfair with judges help. All that is matters, that the world will remember him beating Haney. History does not remember losers. The fight has already happened, people saw his hand being raised. That is it. Nobody cares what is after the fight. What matters is what was during the fight.

Well, it looks like Garcia had one hell of a plan. Make everyone think you’re crazy and get the odds stacked way against you. Then bet millions of dollars on yourself to get a huge payday if you win. Then finally use steroids and don’t make weight to give yourself a massive strength advantage. Dude is playing chess, but this is pretty disgraceful. Still, I think he took home over 50 million…

We will see, although the news came from a reliable source, still we need to hear it official from the governing body on whether Ryan has been found a banned substance in his system. And after that Ryan can refute it or not and fight it out with regards to the charges. Like in this case,

Ryan Garcia has been denying this on social media and he has been telling all of his followers that he is being attacked very much similar to how Trump is being attacked. He also shared a video of Devin Haney's brother who was telling his followers that Allah was telling him that Ryan Garcia was using steroids while Devin's brother was in prayer. This is head shaking because who is the real crazy between the 2?

In any case, I wish this will only be a similar to situation to Conor Benn. Boxing does not need this type of scandal. I will trust Ryan's words until he is proven a cheater.

It will be a big discredit to Ryan if he is proven but I believe this one is just a fake news, Haney's camp just could not accept that the crazy look Ryan beat their boy who is aiming to be a hall of famer. They have to proved that, and Ryan could file a case against them if they are really spreading this lies just to destroy the reputation of Ryan and will null his win.

I have thought of a very head shaking conspiracy theory and if this is true this might be a very genius psychological campaign created by King Ry's team. What if this steroids scandal was also created by Ryan to keep everyone talking about him? What if sample A was intentionally with steroids and sample B is very clean?

If proven innocent after the release of sample B's results, everyone will begin talking about him for many weeks again. King Ry might be trying to keep the attention on him until December heheheheheheheee.

I do not know much with drugs but I believe that if there are certain indicators that tell that a person has been using an illegal substance before and after a fight, what are the consequences of his actions? I would very much like to believe that there must be steps taken because if ostarine was indeed found in his system, then the news should have been brought up BEFORE the fight.

I pretty much guess that it may be a form of propaganda especially on how Haney phrased his statement regarding this discovery like he was blaming it completely on those drugs that Ryan tested positive on for his lost.

Though that may be the case, I just hope that there would be an official statement from the WBF regarding this issue especially that it is beginning to blow out of proportion. While others may think that this may discredit Ryan's win against Haney, again, no amount of drugs can remedy for the failure of the boxer to defend himself twice for being knocked out.

c. Doesn't know, but he did take contaminated supplements that's why he tested positive
We have seen Ryan smoking, and drinking in so many videos, and athletes are known to take supplements or foods that turn out with the amount of contaminated chemicals, there's a possibility that the fight could turn to a no contest so Haney will still have an unblemished record but with a wounded ego.

It may somewhat affect Ryan's reputation but he is still going to attract a lot of attention he is not the only superstar who has this kind of issue and this could happen to athletes without them knowing it.

Ryan must try to clear his name if he thinks he is innocent because if not every fight will cast suspicion if he is fighting clean, and every opponent he will face will bring this out.

I read a post in facebook about Ryan saying that he doesn't want a rematch with Haney, as he think it would be dumb to give him a rematch when he convincingly beat Haney. So for sur Ryan is looking for another  big fight and will just forget about Haney, maybe a fight will only happen if there's a belt on the line, but without it, it will only be a waste of time for Ryan who is enjoying his superstar status now.

I'm sure he doesn't want another match with Haney.  He had to come in overweight and on steroids to beat him the first time...  The question now is, who is going to want to fight Ryan Garcia now when you know that he's capable of pulling a stunt like this?  If all he cares about is the gambling aspect, then other fighters have to view him as an unfair opponent who won't follow the rules.  I'd imagine other fighters are going to start demanding bigger paydays in order to just get in the ring with him.  Nobody wants to watch someone drink and do social media all day during training only to knock them out because he's bigger and on PEDs.

There's no rematch because in the first place, Ryan already said no more fights at 140. So even if Haney or the other champs will offer Ryan a shot at their belts it might not happen. I can see Ryan is not caring for legacy anymore. He wants to focus on making money and growing his popularity as a social media influencer.

There's still 9 more days for Ryan to prove himself clean or his win over Haney will be overturned into a no contest. If ever Ryan came up dirty, there are still plenty of fighters that are willing to fight him because of money. But the other popular fighters might ask for stricter tests and higher penalty if he comes overweight.

After the break out of the news, Ryan became a hot topic and had so much criticism, that those so-called experts even asked to make the fight a no-contest, these are the same people who predicted that Ryan would be overwhelmed by Haney and beat him.
Ryan denies it

Quote
“Why in the world would I volunteer for a drug test if I planned on taking drugs?

“Make it make sense?” Garcia concluded.

https://www.boxingscene.com/ryan-garcia-protests-innocence-following-failed-drug-tests--183248

We all thought that this was over after Ryan upset Haney there's too much drama going on in the fight and the drama still continues and it's more controversial now.

Yes, it really doesn't make any sense, but as you have said, it added another layer of drama and now it's all over the media again and the Haney's are branding Ryan Garcia as cheater. But let's see how the B-sample will turn out to be, if I'm not mistaken, he has to request from VADA to take another sample from him and tested it again.

Ryan deny it though obviously, but let's see, this test has been there for a reason but there are a lot of boxers who tested positive in the beginning, but there's out to be a false positive. This is not the first time that we have heard someone getting "caught" after the fight. But with the magnitude and the hype before and after, it will sure drag the story again and again.

Although boxers or any athlete will deny anything that relates to them being found using Peds, but I don't see or at least hard to imagine Ryan getting into this kind of stuff just to get any advantage on Haney.

I prefer to hold my opinion of whether he is guilty or not, Ryan knows better that there will be drug testing before and after the fight and he knows that whatever he gained from this fight will go to nothing and will have a bad repercussion and will leave a stain on his boxing career as it did on Canelo.

I agree, we should not just into conclusion or what we call trial by publicity and thinks that Ryan is guilty.

And this is Canelo's message to Ryan about the drug test: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UK2_Vz842Lk

Same here, we should hold our opinion for ourselves for now as there are a lot of failed drug test that was overturn. Even Canelo has been caught twice during his fight with GGG with Clen in his system but they offered a good explanation here.

Not sure what substance though if found on Ryan, but if there is any, it should be diuretics to lose that weight. But obviously he didn't want to and instead pay 1.5 million dollars. So this is a big controversial but we will see the final and official announcement from VADA or from the WBC itself.

It sounds like they are planning to discredit Ryan of t his win if they are going to be successful in proving substance on him during the fight. They are yet not done robbing the kid of the win since the time they stepped into the ring.

The Haneys failed, live with it. Devin is just full of himself after claiming he is the next Floyd, he has not put down his feet on the ground, so over confident thinking Ryan is not doing training.

Ryan with his antics...

Ryan Garcia Doubts Haney Rematch, Calls Him “Damaged Goods”

Somehow he is right, why would he gave a rematch on a boxer that he dominated in the fight, if it was a close fight then it's justifiable that a rematch will happen, and Ryan has all the right to say no and believe what he wants to believe. If he think Haney is already a damage goods, he should also accept if Tank Davis will think of him the same way.

I prefer to hold my opinion of whether he is guilty or not, Ryan knows better that there will be drug testing before and after the fight and he knows that whatever he gained from this fight will go to nothing and will have a bad repercussion and will leave a stain on his boxing career as it did on Canelo.
