withdrawl not instant ... whhy ?

Yes, some site do have this too because they need to verify it sometimes so it takes time to get it on. Besides the instant withdrawal word, I can say that it is fast withdrawa because it does not take long just to get yours too. You just need to give  them times, I ever get my withdrawal in only 10 minutes, although I do not have any problem with longer so this is kind of great thing

withdrawl not instant ... whhy ?

Hi testbitcoiner,

Apologies for your delay, it happened because the hot wallet was empty and I was not on the site to refill it.

I have just sent more funds to the hot wallet now and as soon as it gets 1 confirmation your withdraw will be processed automatically.

I have been making the hot wallets bigger these days when I am off the site as the withdrawals are getting bigger, but in this case it wasn't big enough. So again, sorry about the delay.

Cheers,
Mike

Weekly Update and current leaderboard positions:

Just to confirm - no minimum wagering requirement to withdraw a prize.

If you get in the top 10 spots with 1 satoshi wagered then you win the prize.  Same with LTC & ETH.
never heard about some dice website having wagering needed to get competition prize withdrawn anyways
the leaderboard is looking good btw

yeah me too, just had to clear up the questions Smiley

Would be nice if you could add what the prizes will be next to everyone's name on the banner.

Would also help highlight that this competition so far is ev+ for players

wagering requirement to withdraw a prize from a wagering competition sounds like an oxymoron to me
definitely a no go , unless you are some 3rd sort shady site
there must be enough people to make the competition pay for itself for the site
just look at the top spot, think he has already paid for all the prizes combined at the moment, sadly for him

New wagering competition up here --> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/dice-betcom-wagering-competition-05-btc-10-eth-50-ltc-will-be-paid-5060976

As per everyone's suggestions we are paying out the top 10 players for each coin and the prizes are guaranteed regardless of how much is wagered!
~

This is a great improvement! I think it's worth trying this time. Only I have a couple of questions.

1. I took the screenshot below couple of minutes ago

Is it true that somebody has already wagered 72+ BTC  for the current competition? I mean, it's kinda hard to believe, but it's possible of course. If that is true then the 1st place is definitely out of my reach. Smiley But on the other hand, even 0.005 BTC for the 10th place isn't that bad.

2. Do you have any wagering requirements regarding withdrawal or the prize money can be withdrawn right away?

just look at the High Roll bets tab and you will see that the wagered amount is 100% real and sadly hes in a loss too

I dont think there will be any wagering required in order to withdraw the prize money, as there was nothing like that in the last one either

Yes, there should be no wagering requirement to withdraw the prize from a wagering competition. It would be so bad competition if there is a wagering requirement to withdraw the prize, at least it wont attract players to join the competition. I have seen a site with such requirement but I forget the name of the site. Prizes from a wagering competition should be 100% free to withdraw, as players are risking their money already.

I do not think that they will be able to do this since no one ever did this before. There is only one possible way to do, they just need to narrow it down to may be on each hour they will manually update but to make it live for everyone to see, this is pretty hard to do. And btw does it really needed? Since there is already time limit on the contest so people just need to compete from the start without knowing how much amount did anyone already wager

At the start of release, dice-bet's leaderboards and everything on the site used to be real time.

I'm sure other sites have it , at least Betking where the leaderboard is updated within few minutes
in general it's not a big deal in normal days , but when it's the last day of the competition with few minutes remaining to reset the leaderboard then players get kinda anxious and being able to see the leaderboard update helps a lot

I agree with you, maybe update the leaderboards to real time once the competition starts speeding up in the last days of it.

Will speak with ace and see if we can get this updated.

Definitely can see how it is needed for this competition.

guess who's back
Some key Dice-Bet updates today:

- Added chat room for Russian, Chinese & Indonesian languages.
- Updated profit graph to show 'all' (change made as a lot of people have rolled more than 100,000 times).
- Night mode will stay in night mode after you leave the site now or refresh the page (if it is selected).
- Option to turn off GIF's in chat has been added.
- Bug fixed when going from manual bet to auto bet with the chance changing - it now stays the same.

Nice - next update it would be nice if the leaderboard to be in real time. Especially useful for the wagering contest.

Just busted a whole ETH Here, rigged and BS

Type of gambler who cant accept any losses then start to claim that the site where he spend the money is rigged or scam. The best suggestion for you is that "don't gamble if you do not want to lose your money". You were trying to get a loan as well because of your gambling addict. Keep your money on your pocket mate and stay away from gambling. It would be much more better for you.

interesting new style monthly competition, we shall see which one attracts more players
the fixed prizes one or the % of wagered, I think that % of wagered is more attractive for whales ,but this one is free
for all because even with not such a big bankroll  you can have a shot at one of  the prize

% wagered isn't attractive at all imo. If you have fixed prizes, there's more incentive for the players to play in a +ev setting Smiley

While the last competition was just playing on a lower house edge basically.

it depends if you are high roller or not
for a high roller any decrease of the house edge is better than a fixed prize , unless that prize is real big
if you have lot of coins to play with you are not really bothered if you place first and win 0.1 btc
but you can easily make more if you wager hundreds of coins through the lower house edge
but once again, admin tries different approaches to see what is best
for a new site I agree- fixed prizes competitions are way better since it needs more players to participate
