Bitcoin has broken the all time high of 2017 and now it is around 19,000$. The worst part is that even on these level, we are not seeing any pumps and look like price may fall all the way to 10,000$ or even lower.
Once bitcoin was at 69,000$, who would have thought that bitcoin will go so low so fast ?  Now what do think, where we are in terms of bitcoin cycle. I think we are already in th bear market since summer of last year and maybe the bottom/ end of bear market is near ?

BEAR MARKET BOTTOM not even close to being near...   The Federal Reserve is raising interest rates, and doing quantitative tightening, so the FED is not here to save Bitcoin like it did in March 2020   Shocked

There is a very long way down on the path to near zero...

In around seven months time the market have reached the new ath and have come down to $19000. This is the riskier part of cryptocurrency. As said who would've thought the market to be this volatile. Everything is a cyclic process and we're into the next halving by the year 2024, maybe until then we can experience slower growth. Because connective to the halving there used to be big price prediction. So, reaching a higher price from the higher point is hard than reaching high from a low point.

I am not disappointed about the current bitcoin price because that is how the market moves. I don't know when or how this market is going to stop going down but I am sure that very soon the down market will end and everything will continue going bull soon. This is not the first time that the market will go down like this. It happens in 2017 too when all hope was almost gone and now same thing is almost happening.

Bitcoin has break the support resistance limit of 30k which everyone is waiting for 10k, and we have already on the bear market, and is good time to buy for a long time holding, because Bull run make take place un-expected, therefore buy and hold and stopped feeling disappointed, Bitcoin is not going anywhere, but rather understand the system.

^ I know and I understand how BTC will work because I am a BTC enthusiast. So I understand that this bear market will not become temporary in the market, everything will pass and there should be a bull market when it will resist. Understand how volatile market will work and you will never get disappointed, instead, you have given a chance to invest more when bear market where come and I think we already hit the bottom price. You will probably disappoint soon knowing that you did not invest while it has declined too much.

This.  Stop right there.  How fast did Bitcoin go from $20,000 to $60,000?  Pretty fast, right?  If so, why do you expect it to drop slower than that?

You only need Bitcoin's historical chart and five minutes of analysis to understand this is how Bitcoin went every halving cycle.

I say we are in the middle of the bear market.  I think this one will take a bit longer due to economical and geopolitical issues mixed with what could become the next declared public health issue by the next week.  Remember we are in the middle of hyperinflation.  Bitcoin might be extremely volatile right now.

I wouldn't expect it to go down slower than that, but we're talking about 20-60k. Dropping that fast below 20k is a bit disappointing.

You say we are in the middle of a bear market after dropping over 70% from the ATH? Damn, that's too bearish even for me.

Bear markets don't scare me but they always make me lose interest. Last time we were in that state there was so much panic in the media that I took a break for a few months from all of it, even from the forum. It's just the way people are. They were buying bitcoin for 50 and 60k and now are selling it at a loss for a fraction of the fiat money.
It's not bitcoin's fault at all, it's in our nature to be destructive and counterproductive.

I think people are disappointed that they did not sell between $60K & $30K.
After all if they had sold, they be sitting pretty right now on a big profit in the real world with more than enough to buy back in once the price drops to an even better buy back opportunity. When is why true investors that take profit will always outperform hodlers(that miss opportunities).

Bitcoin has not disappointed me because I was aware what I was getting myself into:

-High Volatility
-Market cycles
-Self custody
-Decentralization
-Only invest what you are willing to lose

None of these things have changed to me, so I don't feel disappointed neither should other experienced users. The only ones that may feel that way are those who are newcomers or had no idea where they were putting their money in.

As usual, DYOR DYOR DYOR.

Never. Actually, this low is expected, we can't see a bull market year after year continuously, the financial system doesn't work like this.

we bought, we hold and we sold when we are in profit, if you failed to sell then why be disappointed? you must have to invest that much money which you can afford to lose.

There is nothing to be disappointed about, hold what you bought at a higher price and buy more the dip, when the bearish situation will overcome your portfolio will be averaged and you will get rid of loss too.

I am not disappointed, however I will be honest and say I did not really expected for the price to go lower than the previous all time high but it is understandable something like this happened.

Right now the economy is not doing well and there are many signs that point out it could get even worse, and when we consider the governments, private sector and the average person are all heavily indebted then there is not a lot of room to maneuver, which means that if yet another important event were to appear then there will not be a lot of ways to deal with it, and with this in mind it makes sense we are seeing a strong reduction in the price of bitcoin, even if I believe this is only a temporary drop and its price will eventually recover.

I don't really care at all whatever the market condition would be and if we are on bear side then its better to see things to be an opportunity for you to get in and accumulate because it is really just a right move to be made if ever you could risk it out on making such step.Chances like this doesn't really come often which means that it is wise to be greedy when everything in the market is on deep reds but of course invest only on the amount which you can afford to lose.

Usually after an ATH, there has been a correction but the duration of it would have differed. Since we had two ATH last year, current correction seems to be prolonging too long. None can assure of when the bear market will stop and when the bull market will resume. But yes, this is the right time to buy not only Bitcoin but other best crypto currencies as well. Whales are another big reason for current situation and when they have piled the coins, would start with a little pump followed by a huge one. Panic sellers are manipulated now.

The same way bitcoin price pumps fast, it can also dumps incredibly fast, so it should be expected that after a bull run, there is also a correction which pushes the price down again. In the currently case it was just worse because the negative impacts of the world economy in crypto environment. If it wasn't for this negative influence, I think bitcoin could be at 30,000$-40,000$ price range yet.

Now what do think, where we are in terms of bitcoin cycle. I think we are already in th bear market since summer of last year and maybe the bottom/ end of bear market is near ?
Maybe we are at the middle of the bear cycle yet. I don't think it will be possible to exit this weak season by the end of 2022. I hope next year the market can show strong recovery signals again, once the economical policies implemented by regulators on their countries (US in special) start failing, so investors will be forced to move their funds to somewhere else again to protect it against devaluation, and that may be bitcoin.

The price of bitcoin is now $19,023 and continues to fall. Accordingly, altcoins also fell in price. Ethereum is now less than one thousand dollars. Now, I think those who bought bitcoin at a much higher price than the current one are disappointed. Also, the hopes of those who believed that after the last ATH, bitcoin would no longer be able to fall in price below $20,000, as well as those who believed that in the first half of this year, bitcoin would definitely reach one hundred thousand dollars, did not materialize. It turns out that not everything is as rosy in the world of cryptocurrency as many thought. I think that the current price drop will make many think before buying bitcoin at a high price. This may negatively affect the rapid growth of the price of bitcoin in the future. Especially already at the stage when he will gain a decent price height.

This is turning into a bit of a vicious cycle, where the more selling that takes place the more people lose trust in the longer term future of Bitcoin and decide to sell off even further. However it is going to shake out a lot of people who claimed to be wanting to hold it forever, when in actual fact they just hoped it would double or triple from their buy in point so they could sell it off and profit. Bitcoin never disappointed me, because it was always just a mechanism of payment and it was a bad idea to keep actual currency stored within it. A lot of people who could have been millionaires, but retained trust as it keeps on dropping, are going to have big regrets later on - but they were kinda driven by greed when they should have cashed out long ago.

Not really no. I mean I experienced way worse in my early days, especially the dip when covid started which basically made me lose a LOT since I just exited the market rather dumbly in the middle of the drop-off. Managed to get some of it back. After that, I just decided to DCA my way into trading and stopped thinking about the market price at every single moment. I've moved my mindset from seeing dumps like this to something natural instead and I just let it fly by my head. Not that I ignore it, but rather even if I panic, nothing's gonna change how the market moves right now.

Not really. Although I am at a loss after buying it at a price of $21k, I still don't mind at all. The first buy that I have was last May around $30k+ and yes it sucks to lose big like this. But it doesn't change my long-term goals for Bitcoin as I really wanted to accumulate as much as I can until we can finally recover and begin the bull run season hopefully.

Witnessing the price trend of Bitcoin in since 2014, I am not surprised that the price plummet from $69k to the current price of sub $20k.  It always happens within year after the bull market or 2 years after the halving.

Now what do think, where we are in terms of bitcoin cycle. I think we are already in th bear market since summer of last year and maybe the bottom/ end of bear market is near ?

We are still in a bear market and I think that the bear market will continue until next year. Probably the market will start to recover  a year before the halving or after 2nd quarter of 2023.

In question, if BTC disappoints, I say no.  It still does what it intends to do, the transaction fee is even lower than before.  And when it comes to price, it doesn't disappoint that the entry point is always during the Bitcoin bear market because it really gives us a huge discount.
