No, because those who are damaged by their reputation in society are those who cannot control themselves properly. So in gambling, as long as you can control yourself then at least you will have control to keep your attitude good in the society, then gambling will not make your life look bad in the society. Keep on having wise thoughts and don't get lost in deep defeat, because if that happens you will do negative things which of course you yourself will damage your reputation in the society.

I think that whether online or offline, gambling is not met to give a person a bad image or reputation if there is nothing negative associated with it.

We cant avoid those type of people in the society where they do look into peoples activity and when it do connects with gambling they do already conclude that you are already an addicted one and already messes your life with it without even knowing the whole truth behind.

Not only that they become broke, unemployed or what but they also lost their sanity because in gambling if you are too addicted then it will give the person a lot of stress, stress that he lost, stress in thinking how can he recover the losses and also stress of thinking what his family is going to say when they found out he gambled then loss. That means it doesn't affect you at all, that's what you should do, don't mind them because they are not risking their own money and therefore they don't understand how it feels to risk your money while you are enjoying gambling. Only in the eyes of GOD I tarnished my reputation, but in front of others, they even don't know I am gambling. My wife, family and friends don't know it, so I don't have to worry about reputation at all. I am a strict follower of my religion and that is the only one that I am affected with aside from that it's good.
Hiding is not good especially to our family because they are the ones who can help us directly in case we will face problems with gambling. As for me, my family knows I'm gambling and the good thing is that they don't judge me negatively, they know that gambling is risky but I'm glad they believe that I am responsible also.
I have face problems in the past like I lose money that is not suppose to be spent in gambling, but I am thankful I was forgiven by my wife and I promise to her that I will never make the same mistake again.

I think it really did not affect much of my reputation because I always keep it low key and I know my limits. And I see to it that there is just that enough amount for my habit to be fed. That is also one good thing about gambling nowadays wherein; you can just be at home and gamble unlike before when you really have to be physically present at casinos.
