Everyone stating that gambling will affect someone's image in the society so this is actually happened with you?

For me it happened once why are you gambling its a sin in our life I replied its my wish I can do what ever I wanted.

No it did not affect as long as you are moderate on what you are doing and you do not spend all your time in gambling you are ok with it, it's your money, you will be affected if you have no control on how you play but as long as you taking care of business and you take good care of your family, you should not get affected at all.

In a positive way yes gambling has a positive bearing on my reputation(lifestyle), it's helped me learn to make better decisions and become more prudent, it's taught me how to work with little resources available and also have a big heart when you're at the lowest point...especially when you're about to lose everything.

Now I see myself resourceful and not the type that chases after my losses to the extent of borrowing to feed my ego.

It's just simple.
If you got lot of money thru gambling, people will see you with a good reputation, if your performance on gambling is bad and  have financial problem, people will freaking ignore you and talk negative to you, so your reputation became bad.

Gambling hasn't affected my personal reputation and thought because I only gamble online, I understand the disadvantage involved, I also understand the rules and regulation about how to gamble profitable and I only gamble for fun when during my spare time.
Note: We can't all be a gambler and people who are affected are those who don't understand how well they can handle their buzz and lost when gambling.

Personally I don't think gambling affects my personal reputation.. I even posted my winning results several times on social media.

I am not a religious leader or a politician.. so I don't think gambling will affect my personal reputation.

Whether your reputation is affected if you gamble will depend on two factors, how much do you gamble and the type of social circles in which you move, in the first case if you gamble too much to the point of losing all your money you can be sure your reputation will be affected since that is a sign of lack of self-control and the hit will be even harder if you begin to try to borrow money from your friends, in the second case if you move in social circles that have a very strong moral or ethic code you could find your reputation ruined if you gamble since they think it is wrong even if you have your gambling under control.

Playing gambling is never been a sin it would only be considered to be if you do make yourself do attached with gambling addiction where you do already come to a point where you already compromised your life savings and breaking out relations with your loved ones.

Gambling doesn't affect my reputation because I do gamble only online and didn't tend to gamble on any public place but even ive done such thing I don't see for it to be a big
factor for me since its my money after all and no one can stop you on how you do spend it.
The after effects of your gambling activities are the one who will be judged and reflects to your personalities. Gamblers who got attached too much and became addicted receives bad impressions, while those who's able to come up with good outcomes will be lucky. Good example to that are those who play and win with the lottery. Hitting the jackpot even you did try a lot of times will still gives you a good impressions.

Gambling is a choice of yours. People may see it as something bad because of stereotypes. But for me, it's how you let gambling affect your personal life. If you know how to limit yourself and only use it as an entertainment, then it's fine. But what makes gambling bad, is because of the people who cannot control themselves. They gave gambling a stereotype where when you gamble, you're bad, you're addicted to it, and such. It's what the society things when it comes to gambling. But don't let people dictate what kind of person you are just because you gamble. If they think gambling is bad and it makes you a bad person, prove them wrong.

Yes I guess. Most of the friends around me who know that I gamble kinda see me as a person who has gotten addicted to it. Well they don't know much about gambling and addiction but since I gamble it too much they see me addicted to it. Well I don't blame them since they haven't tasted it yet.

Either way it doesn't affects me how they see me because of it.

This will be depending on what community you are living and what family you having as well, because if we are in the location where gambling is part of daily living there’s no chance that it will affect your reputation but if you have the other way around in life then yes it will sure damage your reputation
So the answer is depend on your society and also on your personality

It depends on many factors however as long as you play online you don't have to care about your reputation in other people eyes.If you go to lotto bars or offline casino this may impact your reputation depending where you live and how gambling is seen there.

Online gambling with crypto has given people the opportunity to play gambling without being noticed by others. You can play online on your personal computer or mobile and no one will be able to trace it. But you still be prepared for any mishaps and consequences if someone come to know you are involved in gambling.

The effects of gambling is mostly negative, almost all people who enters gambling becomes addicted wherein they tend to lose everything, money, wealth, house or even family just because of addiction so that is why when people know that you are a gambler they will somehow generalize people and will automatically think that you will become an addict just like the others, thus, it will affect your reputation as a person.
Some people may have better intentions when they enter gambling but it’s useless because almost all people see gambling as a bad thing and not something that is worth the time, money and effort.

Well if you have a job and if your company found out that you have a gambling habits then if could really affect you negatively. That is why if you wanted to play and still remain someone hidden from your society, you can play online.

For me it happened once why are you gambling it's a sin in our life I replied its my wish I can do what ever I wanted.
To each it's own I guess. As a human being, no one can judge you, it's your life. And that's why religion and gambling doesn't go together at all.

It actually depends on which perspective you are looking.

Obviously, most of my family members know that my brother was into gambling and they were exhausting all the possible means in order to help/support him to overcome this habit and potentially an addiction. But on hindsight, most people that I know see him as someone who works hard enough to support and meet his obligations.
Fortunately, he overcame his addiction and went back to his old-self where he usually works hard to achieve his dreams.

The beauty of online gambling makes anyone anonymous. Not to mention, the convenience it provides eliminates the need for someone to go to actual casinos to bet and be succumbed to the ambiance of a casino.

If the gambling is legal in your religion and country then it may not effect your personal reputation. But on the other hand if you are not allowed to gamble in your religion and yet you do it, this may effect your reputation in case someone founds you gambling. It is just like you are caught in doing a sin.

yes only if you are a popular or reputable person on your place and if you tell them that your gambling or if someone discovered that your gambling but if you will only keep it as a secret and you only gamble anonymously/privately , know one will ever know  .

in my case i am not a popular person or a reputable person so i dont care if people around me will see me playing a gambling  . infact im verry proud to tell them that im playing a gambling  .

This problem can occur with normal people like us and not necessarily with only popular personalities. I can tell you few cases where people were doing gambling hidden from their families and when their families find about their activates, those people have to face embarrassment.
In many places, gambling is not considered as a noble and good activity and if anyone knows a person doing gambling, that can cause difficulty for him.

Everyone stating that gambling will affect someone's image in the society so this is actually happened with you?

For me it happened once why are you gambling its a sin in our life I replied its my wish I can do what ever I wanted.

If you will allow this people to judge you, you will feel bad.
First, it will start from your own belief, if you think gambling is bad, then you should not gamble at all, otherwise you are violating your own principle.

Gambling is not a sin but people can think whatever they want based on what they see, and you don't have to waste your time explaining to them.
It doesn't matter if they'll judge, just continue to live your life and be a good citizen, being a gambler should not affect your personal image badly.
