So after more research we have discovered a possible issue with the Bitcoin Core 0.9.1 code we implemented. This block delay issue does not appear to be related to DigiShield but how the 0.9.1 code was implemented.

The issue did not show up until several mining pools had updated. It appears a new multi-pool more recently updated to 2.9.1 and since they have most of the hash we are getting these delayed block times.

We are going to test out a few more things and compare code bases to make sure. The good news is if this is the issue we will not have to do a hard-fork to get the blockchain back on track. We will work on rolling out an update ASAP.
Nice catch! And good to hear we can expect a fix soon. It's a very important task to get the coin back on track and focus on adoption Smiley

Can you tell me, how can i find it here — http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackjack ?

I wasn't aware that wikipedia writes the algorithms for your blackjack.. Or are you playing coy trying to say that your balckjack is comparable to a casino with a regulated amount of cards whereby you can count cards and beat the house, and that you don't have it coded to only allow a small fraction of hands to be won based on "random" cards to be drawn.
Sorry, but a stack of cards has a set outcome. The cards in your "house" are set by the algorithms, not the shuffle.

Are you implying that DigiByte miners are schmucks to be taken advantage of?

if you say such the rant, you have to be confident in them.
Have you seen our algorithm? Can you give evidence?

proof or GTFO

How about you post the algorithm. Transparency on your "fair play" or GTFO..

[edit] And this turned into a crapshow only because one of you decided to defend this fail attempt at marketing.
Imagine you're walking down the sidewalk with a friend while having a conversation and all of a sudden some clown in a blackjack costume got in your face about "BEST DEALS IN THE WORLD ON BALCKJACK!!"
I dropped a simple jokingly comment on your "fair play" and you guys decided to defend it.
Your marketing technique is no better than an obnoxious TV commercial with the volume 25% louder than the program. Did you really need to take up 1/3 of the page to promote your crap? No..

You decided to get in people's faces. Deal with the backlash and scrutiny. Or, GTFO, as you so eloquently put it.

[edit] Futhermore, you two clownshoes are supposed to be posting HERE https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0 in the GAMING sub. A word of advice, do yourselves a favour and quit while you're only partially looking like azzhats.

If you want, you can buy or rent our algo. And look on it, or use it, or do what you want. We work hard, and value our reputation. So just give you advice, do not be a jealous.

Jared,
Thanks for the update. I am still a bit nervous to do an update. I will make sure this fix corrects the problem and then take a shot at updating to the Windows 32 wallet.

Kind Regards,
YC

We also are seeing a timing pattern emerging. It started around the 28th of April it looks like. Over a month after DigiShield was implemented. Other coins with DigiShield like Dogecoin are not showing the same pattern. Either way we are on it.

Looks like it finally came. The delay is a bit concerning.

YC
Glad to hear it came through! We are definitely figuring out what the best option to fix it is right now. We are thinking an added filter to DigiShield would improve things along with multi-algo implementation.

DigiByte's net hash has been dropping to 200-300 mh and then spiking up very high. DigiShield is working to stop the instamines by multi-pools but it is then lagging for a few minutes.

Right now the best thing to do is get more hash on the network. Otherwise there is no option but to do a hard fork. Which we are planning on doing with the multi-algo implementation anyway.

If you have a miner we could use the hash right now!

How do you see a withdrawal on the blockchain? Looks like Mintpal has a stuck withdrawal.

YC

I think it's something to be looked into as well. The dev said it was result of the multipool hit but I had transactions from my wallet which took 30mins to get 3 confirms. That's from my wallet so I can easily check the confirms on the block chain as well as from within my own wallet. Is there any way to circumvent that? Might be off putting to merchants.

So any news or hype in a crypto world from DGB? Are you wanna continue to feed us with bullshit like "Nice weekend in LA, blah blah blah"? People looking on DGB and just see yet another Scrypt coin while other shit rising to the moon with crashing wallets, retarded devs and ugly graphics without any sense of purpose.

People need hype, news and status updates, otherwise it's just a mine and dump coin.

No, children need hype.

Don't agree with you. Most of the cryptotraders are grasshoppers, if there is an announcement about a certain coin they will buy into that coin.
Offcourse a larger group is 'the community' and holds most of the coins and they want to see a nice steady grow.
But sometimes you can take a nice profit during a pump  Roll Eyes.
