Lover of dgb here, Wondering if any of you know if a Richlist exists for DGB?
DigiStats used to have one but I don’t think it is currently online. These rich lists do not provide you with useful information anyway. All the amounts in the list could theoretically exist in just one wallet!

Seems ion is competing in the gaming space... doesn't look like they have released much though.... thoughts people?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1443633.new#new

i only ask since digibyte has released products and pushes forward. Im not a fan of products that pretend in the space. Crypto needs to stamp out the bullshit

Ion is no threat to DGB. It is the same dev as Paycoin, so stay away if you are smart. Only real competition is GameCredits and maybe GamerholicCoin.

I totally agree with Lercker. ION is currently only under my Fun-To-Watch list. Not in my Watch-To-Invest list. enough said.

SuchFlex site looks like it could be a good place for Gamers to tune their pc’s for DigiByte mining and other useful projects when not playing.  Smiley
Yes exactly. We are hoping to have some integration with the Digibyte gaming wallet for users who want to send tips in games etc.

Does anyone in this thread have experience running a DGB-Skein mining pool?
I'm running a NOMP pool here: 104.198.11.209:8081
The pool does not recognize when blocks are found, we rely on a custom script to payout users.

I posted details about the issue on the official dgbholdings github with no response:
https://github.com/dgbholdings/digihash/issues/1

Any pointers or advice would be great.

At my company we are big proponents of Digibyte because:
  • mining profitability.
  • Quick block-times
  • innovative tech (digispeed, multi-algo)
  • gaming community support (much of our community are pc gamers)

I would love to continue to support DGB for our userbase, but these technical difficulties and lack of documentation have been discouraging.

http://nodes.digistats.info/

is the database realtime or a history of nodes? I check many nodes but there are no active client or node.

We believe currently this is set to 24-48hrs that those nodes were active. Overall we estimate about 15,000 - 20,000 downloads of the core v4.0.3 wallet globally.

ah okay. gracias!

does http://nodes.digistats.info/ refreshes every hour or something? i have been seeing 625 for a number of times already for the past few days
running again now. Wink

it sure is.  Cool

Lovin' Crypto
The digihash easyminer download link isnt working. (page 1)
I'm totally new to mining and would like to have a good guide to set up my mining operation.

Thanks in advance. cheers
This is going to depend on many things but mainly your budget! There is not a working easy miner I’m afraid.
If you have a games computer with GPUs, minimum requirement these days probably, then you may decide to look at mining with them ,when you are not playing, so you will be looking to mine on groestl probably, Idk really because I mine with ASICs.
These are dedicated mining machines and have no other purpose, than to mine crypto as efficiently as possible. They currently mine Sha-256, Scrypt and recently Qubit.
Mining DigiByte is not unlike mining anything else using the same algorithm but there is currently no Digibyte guide to doing it, as far as I’m aware that is.
You can run a full node core wallet and solo mine but I wouldn’t think that would get you far these days even with a decent games pc but with ASICS that’s a whole different story.
You will hook up with a pool probably and some of these may even be a better source now for some of the mining info you are seeking.
Sorry I couldn't point you to some beautiful DigiByte guide, maybe you will write it one day.  Smiley

Forget that, this is a gaming coin now go fix all the problems like the masive one of empty servers !? Not helping anyone. Increase payout and create more incentive. I can't understand how this thread is so large when the main aspect of this coin is so poorly executed im amazed it is still alive.

You must be amazed of alot of thing. Specially when on your profile we read "dice" linked to some coins site.

Oh, and after reading what you said, you obviously know nothing of this thread, not even the 1st page.

But thanks for the (useles cause we don't need it) bump today.

Cheers lad, see you later for a new complain.

Double spend on bitcoin? Merchants beware. Is this possible in DGB? Probably not since it is so fast at confirming.

https://youtu.be/ysVCU1b-UBA
don't know of one, never seen it on dgb.

Ya it seems to be due to confirmation time, is what I get from that video.
The speed I type, it's not possible. I know that. Grin
