Oh look its thread killer barabbas, He always shows up with markets turn Bear, every time, Like clock work. As predictable as the Sun rising.

I'm surprised nobody has ignored his dumbass by now. It's obvious he's a fucking idiot troll...Quit getting trolled people.

unfortunately, even if he is ignored people keep quoting him so his posts appear anyway. There is always at least one person who'll take the bait :/

How can I export a bug report?

In settings

After reinstall I have data transfer via G4 (not Wifi) of >25Mb in about 30 minutes or so. Is this normal for an initial load/start of the wallet?

I couldn't give you an exact figure but yeah that sounds about right. The thing to take note of is that digibyte will have to download more blocks (and therefore more data) than say the bitcoin wallet does in the same timeframe due to the much quicker block times. This can be alleviated by new releases of the wallet with updated checkpoints but even then theres only so much that can be done. If you wouldn't mind monitering it over the next 24 hours and report back with the data usage.

Hopefully we will make it into the next release of the coinomi wallet which at this point is probably a better mobile wallet as it uses the electrum backend and wont use anywhere near as much data or require as frequent updates for the checkpoints.

Thanks, I will do so.

Yesterday i did get a update for my samsung s5 regarding a new version.Android version 5.0

I haven't been able to test the wallet with lollipop yet (Android 5.0) but I don't imagine this would cause any issues.

Also, if nobody have the issues I will reinstall it later and monitore closely to see abnormalities. If so I will post the outcome here if that's ok. Of course I made a comparison with another Android wallet (guess you know from what) which uses a lot less 'power'.

The Digibyte wallet is a light wallet also I assume?
Please try this as this is not typical behavior. If others have issues we would like to here about it.

Check, I will post the outcome.

Also important to mention is the fact the wallet functioned perfect until yesterday. So if there where other abnormalities yesterday I like to hear these too...

Have you installed any new apps or made a significant number of transactions? Thats alot of bandwidth even for a full node. If it happens again please submit a bug report so I can review it.

You sure you didn't sell all your digibyte Jero?
Or was i misread your talking on the nlg forum

Correct me if i'm wrong Cool

Sold a large part of it so the rest I have is profit for now. Will buy some more later ;-)

I am using the android wallet allot! Sending every friend some Digibyte. Let them download the wallet and maybe they get intrested Smiley.
But to answer your question.
No i dont have the  problems you experience.
The app needs to sync and offcourse it needs bandwidth.
In what time-frame did it use the 40mb?

The cache was atm, the bandwidth in a day!

What model of Android phone was this on & which version of the Android OS?

Samsung S4 mini modal GT-I9195 with Android 4.4.2.

yesterday I removed my Mobile Digibyte Android wallet. Why?

My phone got very hot, battery was empty very quick at every recharge.
After I did some research I found out that the app used 38Mb (!) bandwidth and used 40Mb (!) cache memory.

Are there more people with similar experience? Or maybe someone have tips, maybe I used wrong settings or so?
