There is no that much difference in between digital money and virtual currency and that it is the very much similar thing. I don’t really think so that calling it any of them will affect the reputation of the crypto currencies as this is just a name and that it has nothing else to do with it. You can quite comfortably make a lot of money even neglecting the name but you need to put in lot of efforts then.

Digital and virtual are both depending in the internet to function.
Digital is a money from the bank either credit or debit.
which you can get with your complete information and proper documents.
while virtual currency which i love, is a currency over the internet with out any physical aspect that you can easily turn into fiat any time and even without identification.

Because majority of people are sceptic or afraid of new technologies which are coming to our life now, as it seems to me.
It all comes down to basics when you just heard of bitcoin and don't understand nothing, go read about blockchain & bitcoin. Sadly not many people go for knowledge of new technologies, so statements made by this kind of people have 0 weight.
A lot of young people where i live are showing great intention to study blockchain and cryptocurrencies, they don't trust that much old bank system and see in cryptocurrencies a way for a better living.

This is so hard for me to find the word to say, but digital currency is quite different from the virtual currency itself, I think that digital currency means that we are using credit or debit cards, but cryptocurrencies are the currency which used by blockchain technology and we don't need the third part to help to use cryptocurrencies.

It's just that your people and your government are not open to explore new technologies and they are relying on the fake news that are spreading about cryptocurrencies, they think that this is a big joke and taking a risk when they invest to it, but it's not. Except some African countries now almost all the countries know about bitcoin. When we are 2015 there are huge number of people lacking in bitcoin knowledge but now somehow they are in trading and some type of crypto investments.
