You are correct, good Sir. I am Pirate's biggest Cheerleader. Go Pirate Go !

I hope he runs away with EVERYTHING......

he has lol

Then I hope he keeps on running. He deserves to be compensated for playing such a good hand and duping alot of us, regardless of the signs.

He has now become one of my heroes, even though he is younger than I am, I still admire him and wish him the best.

I don't really have much to be bitter about in the grand scheme of things, as there are people who have lost 10x more than I did, so I can always rest easy, knowing that I was not the biggest sucker involved.

I still tend to think size doesn't matter. Being duped to me is just the same if it were 10 times less or 10 times more. But good on to you on "moving on".

I have never been on Team Ponzi.

I have always been on Team 'Pirate is a fucking asshole and communicates about as well as Helen Keller' and I have the previous PMs to prove it (long before this shit storm took place.)

NO ONE has proven what type of 'enterprise' he was running. Other than DEFAULTING (which is the ONLY fact to date) NOTHING else has been proven. Not a Ponzi, Not Money Laundering, NOT a Drug Ring, Not Hookers, Blow, an Island, Facial Reconstruction Surgery, Market Manipulation, Mob Ties, Mission to Mars, Tesla Research Center.....NOTHING.

Um no.

You were cheerleading for pirate in the post above which I linked to.

And it's not important at this point whether or not he was running a ponzi or a midget porn business, the fact that YOU and OTHERS have not received your bitcoins is what matters.

So how come you gave him you money?

I gave him ME money so he could run away with it...retard.

You gave a de-facto wallet inspector a  large amount of your money and I'm the mentally deficient one? hahahahahahahahaha

So how is he teaching us anything? People said Pirate was a ponzi because there was no shred of evidence to the contrary (no credible profit generator etc). People said Matthew wasnt going pay because there was no shred of evidence he had either the means or the willingness to pay (nonsensical bet, no escrow, no proof of ownership etc).

If he wont pay, whats the lesson? If anything he would be proving the opposite of what he claims to want to teach us.

I don't know, that's why I've concluded he's got some mental problems. I tried to explain what you are pointing out here (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1128763) and he was mildly receptive. But has since gone off the deep end.

So Matthew was pretty vocal calling out BTCST as a likely scam, I'm really confused now because he's also stated that the purpose of this bet is to teach people who called it out as a scam a lesson for making assumptions without evidence to back it up :s

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=50822.320

I'm still struggling to find the thread and comments from pirateat40 that this bet is based on, can someone link me please?

Ah OK was confused by the post date, so Matthew's right about the date being 3 weeks from Monday not Sunday not that it makes much difference I suppose... this bet was a whole pointless bunch of nothing!!

It's times like this that I am thankful that BTCS&T Accounts are by referral ONLY.....and you can bet that after many of us have had to sit here and read this bullshit day after day with envious people spreading FUD because they couldn't get on the 'Pirate Train' early on....that NO ONE will be inviting any new people to jump on it now or any time soon.

Pirate, I for one want to say THANKS.

I know I have said it before, but there's no point in me being shy about in this thread.

THANKS for EVERYTHING.
bitlane.

His thing was "people shouldn't say it's a scam without knowing the facts" so

Pirate is a scam = Wrong
Pirate is likely a scam = OK
Pirates business model looks questionable, please provide more insight into how you produce these returns = Ideal

I dont see where he says it's a scam.

It's politely worded, but he says he thinks it will end badly and it doesn't make sense. I interpret that as him thinking it's likely a scam.

Edit: as per 556j's comments I do appreciate there's a difference between directly saying something and implying it.

That's how I understood his side of things originally. Now I'm convinced he has some type(s) of mental illness.

bitlane.

likewise, thanks, and +1 for weighing in on this:

coins are coins regardless of where they come from

There it is clear as day. He didnt care who gave him the coins. As long as they had value to exchange for.
