Today the Main event will commence. What I observed on the bracket, especially on the upper bracket, the team there are almost the same with the upper bracket of The International 2018. Those teams that in the upper bracket in The International 2018 are teams that performed really well during group stage on this The International.
Probably, we can see a 2 timer The International champion? Hmmmm. Exciting.

It is too early. At this particular stage we still cannot tell whether or not there will be a history going to happen. So far, the possibilities are really vast and the contenders for the Aegis, other than those that have already been champions, are really great teams. It is safe to say that Teams such as Team Secret, Vici Gaming, PSG.LGD, or even TNC Predator could actually become the champion in this year's The International.

And, to be honest, I want another new team to become the champion this year, just like what happened in the previous TIs every year.

Hey GreatArkansas, good catch for that comparison!

I'm starting to bleed green now because OG has been consistent during the group stage just like what they did for TI8. Ana's IO has been a surprise and it's much better if they did showed it during this main stage. I like the attitude of Team OG, they've built the team through friendship. They've got a nice coach turned into their offlaner, Ceb is doing it and has taught them how to chill whatever the situation is.

Here is the Main Event Bracket with great design and with prices in accordance with their rank price. That $15 million USD though!

-snip-

Got this picture in a Facebook Post. Probably made by Dota 2 / Valve people.
Few more hours left and the upper bracket will start the matches. The exciting part is with the lower brackets, they will only fight for a Bo1 series.

They lose and they'll be out of the tournament.

Some teams might be holding themselves and just having a plan whether they wanted to be in the upper bracket or in the lower bracket, we still don't know what they're plan is. Also, maybe that is the reason why Liquid, is in the lower bracket. They have their own reasons and we will be seeing their real plays or strats in the group stages.
But still, I think going to the lower bracket is not a great idea because the disadvantage is there, you can't disregard it on calculating your chance of winning. If Team Liquid will lose on their match against Fnatic, which is a team you can't underestimate, then it's time for them to say "Bye bye" lol; unlike on the case of upper bracket teams where they still got one last chance to make their sweetest comeback once they lose Cheesy.

Whether they intended to fall to the lower bracket or not, the clear thing here is they are now at risk of getting eliminated.

Current stand at the moment and it seems Chaos strike is the first to go to the airport. Cheesy
Yeah! I overheard it when I was watching yesterday during their live game against TNC. Whether win or lose, they'll become last on the standing thus getting eliminated.
Check the liquipedia page --> https://liquipedia.net/dota2/The_International/2019/Group_Stage, Chaos and NiP are the first teams to be eliminated.

While TNC, which is the crowd favorite now will be playing against VG at the upper bracket.
Posting some image for visibility and that upper bracket would be an interesting one.

This caught me off guard so hard that I had to rub my eyes in awe. Secret was looking so dominant on the first day and proceeded to start day two with a clean 2-0. Mineski came in really strong with the draft and gave Moon some of his comfy heroes like Tiny which he went absolutely bonkers on. Massive win for them to keep their upper bracket dreams alive.

Meanwhile TNC on the other hand have looked so good against the top teams that you can't put them out of contention for a place in the upper bracket. It's either Gabbi or Armel stepping up with stellar carry performances and Kuku/Tims having limelight moments which is really proving to be crucial for the wins they have managed to rack up so far.

It's okay, let's proceed to the main stage. The upper bracket and the lower bracket.

Also, what I'm not expecting is that TNC is below of Mineski Shocked. That team of ours is always underestimated but I guess we should now start to change our impression to them because they are proving that they are not a cheap competitor (hello, they're on the upper bracket lol).

It is still the start of the group stages, so I am not really surprised.

Another thing that I am surprised is that Liquid is below TNC, I am not expecting that, I am expecting more to them especially that w33 is their midlane.

I think is expected.

Chaos may have great players but they are just a new team and it is like a desperation to win an built their own team, it won't happen since teams in TI trained their way in. Another thing that I am surprised is that Liquid is below TNC, I am not expecting that, I am expecting more to them especially that w33 is their midlane.
Matumbaman is on Chaos but they do still failed down.TNC picks are most likely good for long game and to their last game they choke out in late game.
They were pretty aggressive on early phase but the momentum had been cut down when other team carry already got their gears.
Me too, I didn't expect on how they do perform this groupstage but we haven't still see yet if teams are just hiding their own drafts saved up for the Finals.

That is why I said, it is like a desperation, because Matu is there.

In terms of TNC, it is a great team though there are times that they engage in wrong time. They are an aggressive team so that is inevitable. I can say that they are still hiding an ace to their sleeves especially Team Secret. Their match, their picks against LGD clearly states they are hiding something.

Some TNC fans just couldn't accept the fact that they are given a 2-0 match by Mineski. Well, I don't think every single TNC fan is against Mineski. I believe that most of TNC's fans are also fans of Mineski, and even Fnatic.  Grin Rumors of that game-selling are nothing but products of fans who couldn't make something rational from game results.

Anyway, so much for this rumor-mongering topic. TNC and Mineski are both great teams. Do I need to give you proof? First, the two teams were able to make it to TI9. Second, they are the only teams who were able to give Team Secret's unblemished record some nice scratch. And sadly, I lost some bucks out of those games.  Cry
However the good news is that both teams beat the most favorite team in the tourney, Secret.

What impresses me with TNC team is that they are the only ones who break the winning streak of Team secret of 9 wins. They do able to stop it even the game is already one sided but TNC do knows how to sustain and can comeback even on deficit. They do improve a lot when Gabbi is added on the team. You can see plays which haven't seen on last years. They can able to contend top tier teams now.

My hands are already itchy to bet, but still, I am waiting for the main stage before to bet to analyze the team based on their previous games. Group Stage has really a lot of ups and downs, unpredictable and unbelievable results.
Some of my friends are also waiting for the main stage because hype is larger than what we have right now. I haven't watch the other games since I've focused to some teams during this group stages.

I have some teams that I've been eyeing to bet but their performance were poor during this group stage matches. Those teams that I'm following were Chaos E-sports club since there's Matumbaman and I thought that they will be notable but they were not.

There are a lot of people who won on those matches, especially on the Team Secret Vs. TNC Predators, since the odds are quite huge for the opponent of Team Secret.
In our country, some bettors on e-sports, especially on Dota2, they called it "YOLO", once the odds are higher and they bet on the team that has high returns  Cheesy

People from the SEA region are supporting the teams that originated from the SEA. But you can't blame those haters that can accept that fact that they've lost against Mineski.
