just noticed the thread , I'm still new to Esports but subscribed to different betting sources till I just start to know what's going lol
here is the list of my outright bets that I was recommended to make early today , prices all are gone tho but maybe they go up again today or tomorrow

crazy value for Clinkz there with X32.26 now odds dropped a lot but that would be a 0.27 BTC win for me if it hits  Cheesy

sadly limits weren't great so I wasn't able to bet more in all of these plays , anybody knows a good site for such outrights ?

Clinkz is an insanely good hero to pick for kill averages, knowing how well they buffed his skills especially with the Aghanim's upgrade. A good one would also be Ember Spirit though most teams usually play the said hero on the safe side focusing more on net worth advantage rather than capitalizing his early game aggression for kills. As for outrights, I don't know much about any other sites since I'm focused more on item betting for resale rather than crypto/money betting. Also, what site are you using to bet on those?
Clinkz is indeed a good pick but lets see if this one will be included on the meta. Aghs upgrade on this one would really be good on teamfight yet it do spawns soldier when it do comes out after a skeleton walk + having that strafe it can secure out fast kills. So this one is a good choice. @dotthebeats, why not try loot.bet?

If OG will become consistent just like last year during the group stage, big chance again to get back to finals.
OG still got the high chance for winning, but I am a little bit worried on n0tail since he got sick recently, maybe he missed a lot of practice on their boot camps before The International 2019, and he is the captain of OG. Let's see if the team really got affected when Notail got sick.

Btw, let's hope that some of the champion teams on the recent The International should be in separate groups so the tournament game's bracket is much exciting.
Yes, I also think the same way because boot camps/ practice and creating new technique is essential moves is very important to TI. But I'm sure that Notail can quickly adapt what he missed. Team OG is a very great team, especially that Ana is back and I'm rooting for more Ceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeb! Moves.

That's why the group stage is very tractable to the top teams. I'm so excited now to know who will be the next TI Champ. Smiley

As the date of the tournament approaches, I'm watching for the prize distribution on how much it's going to be mainly for the 1st place / champion.
This is still related to the tournament, so how much you think is the share for the champion out of the $31M prize pool? be it a percentage or specific amount.
Checked out 2018 TI prize pool allocated on each team http://dota2.prizetrac.kr/international2018  and since the battle pass sale havent cut out yet then there's still

no official or fixed amount all in all.So calculating for the prize allocation isnt possible yet but we would able to know it soon.
Yeah that was from last year and we're already done with that tournament and prize pool share. I'm asking for the latest tournament for this year which is the '19.

Btw, we already have the idea on how much the share would be.

I've watched the amazing and touching documentary made for OG's TI8 victory, search it on red bull's youtube channel.

But for sure, they will totally support their fellow countrymen and let's hope for a better gameplays and crowds too.
China fans boys always over pride for their team.
Guys visit the page of Icefrog on facebook named Wykhrm Reddy. And see the two time TI hopefuls and there's no Chinese that was included to the photo. 3 days left and the group stage will be showed.

You can see at OG VS PSG.LGD went PSG.LGD only need 1 more game to take the aegis. The crowd was screaming together to OG "OG Go Home", went OG can take back the momentum a lot of their fans boy was crying because their team was lose.

The prize pool is really huge Shocked, I didn't expect that the prize pool will reach this high, I thought The International 2018 will be higher for all-time.

The upcoming games will be really hype because of the prize pool too. Lot of new gameplays will happen and a lot of people will get rekt in gambling too  Cheesy. It is really much better if we will go to bet on different games once they are on the main stage already? Because of I afraid of some experimental games especially those high tier teams.
But at the start of the games on The International 2019 is good to play some YOLO bet, which I will bet on the higher odds but maybe for a small bet only.

Yes, the prize pool is too huge, and the new technique will show up. I'm rooting to a new champion( but not a Chinese team / no heart feelings). Yes, there will be plenty YOLO bet that will show up especially at the group stage because some top team set their position on the upper bracket (3rd or 4th slots and not showing the new techniques) and also that is the underdogs moments.  Smiley

It doesn't come as a surprise that Chinese teams like PSG.LGD and VG will be favoured to win the tournament itself just because of the location, as they come in as fan favourites.
Tournament venue is not too much exciting or hype because of the fans who are watching the games, there are lot of minor tournaments happened in China and feedbacks of some players or people observed on the venue, no hype on the fans or boring crowd.
But for sure, they will totally support their fellow countrymen and let's hope for a better gameplays and crowds too.

Since almost everybody here is talking about the prize money, let's also talk about the top teams contending for the same.

It doesn't come as a surprise that Chinese teams like PSG.LGD and VG will be favoured to win the tournament itself just because of the location, as they come in as fan favourites.

While the European teams have shown great performances across the DPC, Team Secret is going to be a strong contender for top 6 (although they've consistently underperformed at TI) along with Liquid who showed a promising major run with w33. Everyone will have an eye on VP who again have been consistent performers throughout the season but are known to fall off during TI. Also, defending champs OG also have a good shot of making it big

Coming to NA, the only talking prospect here is obviously EG who are known for ups and downs and sudden peeks is the season. Maybe RTZ can really break the curse this time and if they end up 3rd, disband inc.

When it comes to SEA teams, TNC especially after getting Heen as coach, has showed a lot of promise with consistent top finishes at multiple majors. Fnatic and Mineski are also teams to watch out for with replacements in their carry players/positions.

All in all, this is going to be one hell of a TI and I'm highly looking forward to it.

Guys one of the most awaited update has now come. We have 6 days left for the group stage matches and the prize pool has been distributed already. A whopping $14.6M for the 1st place of this tournament. See all the prize differences each place of liquipedia[1].
[1] https://liquipedia.net/dota2/The_International/2019

Thanks for the update, buddy! I haven't checked liquipedia for a few days now.

Anyway, the matches amounting to millions of US Dollar are getting nearer. Can't wait to watch them. The intensity of the anticipation is rising. This is going to be another round of jaw-dropping TI games, stunning clashes, dumbfounding combos, and probably unbelievable come-backs.
Welcome bud.
The hype for this torunament is real. The prizes are getting higher and higher each year. The lowest place a team can get is around $80k and that's still a good amount for the both team that will get eliminated quickly.
This tournament is for real and it will definitely change the lives of those who will get a higher place on this tournament.

Just have one more question. Hopefully there’s a betting sites where we can place are bets. Can’t see it sportsbet?
I'm 100% sure that sportsbet.io will cater the, The International 2019.
As of now you can't still see the list of games maybe Valve or organizer of The International 2019 has not yet finalized the upcoming games or groups for every team who are qualified. Maybe a two or one day before they can release the group of every team, let's hope for that. I'm excited to bet in Sportsbet.io, funds are ready!  Cheesy

That’s not a joke price pool to be honest, might be a life changing, who knows. I’ll give my shot for TNC Predator, well full support to our country and Kuku that best of the best. Dota 2 brings back memories of my High School life.

Just have one more question. Hopefully there’s a betting sites where we can place are bets. Can’t see it sportsbet?

SEA teams are good but weren't good enough to get the top spot.OG,VP,LGD isn't really that easy to beat up but including on top 3 or top 5 isn't that bad.
Price pool is too big this year and lets see if this would happen even more on next year TI20.
About on the betting you can actually see these lines on most popular bookies, sportsbet, nitrogen.

the thing about Dota 2 if you have watched some of the tournaments is that apart from the team work and all that, the strategies these teams use is one of the key factors in their winning. sometimes we see some unknown Chinese team come along and use some crazy strategy that beats every team out there! i remember back in Dota 1 (Warcraft before Valve took over) there was a team that picked the craziest heros that didn't even match each other and all went to one lane at the bottom! the other team (the experts of that time) were beaten in about 10 minutes because they couldn't fight that combo that rushed their lane from first second!
I think I remember that strategy and my friends and I copied that strategy with pub games.

I'm interested with the mentality and picking strategy of Chinese teams. They really are crazy and genius at the same time on how they play but Puppey is still one of the best team captain and picker.
