Great news about DNotes being featured in the documentary series
I think that in this bearish times and considering that it is in the funding phase, DNotes needs to get as much exposure as possible. I'm guessing that is much harder to find investors for the funding this year, than it would be a year ago, when the mood was much more optimistic
Still I believe that the team will be successful and achieve its goals. Being featured in the documentary is one more step in the right direction
Agreed, it is fantastic news, if it gets picked up by major publications it will get us a lot of exposure.
The funding is a matter of finding the right people. Unlike the ICO frenzy where everyone is investing what little money they have, open to the public and operating without any of the typical restrictions, we have taken the proper legal approach of equity funding in the parent company. This approach involves reaching out sophisticated investors through the typical channels who are much more cautious with their portfolio, as well as all the restrictions associated with the Reg D 506 (c). We understand how much more difficult this path is, but we believe this is the only path to long term success. We are quite optimistic about the upcoming Family Offices conference.
If it's more difficult and it takes longer than we would like, the important thing is that we continue to push forward relentlessly. We've had plenty of setbacks along the way, but we aren't going to let those setbacks stop us from achieving our goals with DNotes.
Quite right. There is no such thing as an overnight success -- it is just what it seems like for everyone else who wasn't paying attention. We all know that people only begin to pay attention once you've made it, and they never notice the years of back-history involved in getting to where you are.
We will be making the most of the upcoming family office conference, and we will be getting face time with a lot of wealthy potential investors -- many of whom will not already be invested in our industry. The task is to find an investor, or group of investors who share our vision for the best way forward, and who have the greatest skill sets that can be utilized as we progress. All investors are great, but some can also offer large social and business networks and/or valuable skills and resources that can be deployed for the company's benefit.
We're very excited about meeting everyone there.
Dear Alan, you are right of course, success usually require a lot of hard work and not giving up at obstacles that comes along the way.
Of course sometimes is hard, like the general situation in crypto now, when everything is going south...I would sometime just go to sleep for a few months and told someone to wake me up when the crypto (and my investments with it) will recover
But since that is not an option, instead of being passive and waiting what will happen, I try to be active and help spreading the word about crypto in general. I also learn in the meanwhile, so when the recovery will finally come (and I am sure that it will), I will be better prepared than in the last bull run, when I made a lot of stupid beginner's mistakes
I am not familiar in details with the Family Office Conference, but it seems it is big and important event?
