According to me all Cryptos have future as long as there is community and continuous development. There are some altcoins which has been around for a while now and its still profitable however there are some which was meant for short term and now they do now hot any value only due to the fact that the project was abandoned. Nevertheless the beauty of Crypto world is that even if the project is abandoned, some developer can pick the project and the community can bring a dead coin back to life.

Thanks and have nice day.

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.

Speaking about Altcoin, I now see that Ethereum is very potential. It grows to over 4000% within a year. There are also many other cryptocurrency potential that has yet to be explored. From my point of view, Altcoin is very predictable in the next 10 years it will go up and completely replace Bitcoin at the moment. At current time you have peace of mind to invest and holding many Altcoin to make a great profit later.  Tongue

There's no reason to believe that there will only be one coin in the future. But coins have to show real usage and value to survive. Ethereum, Civic, Zcash and Monero have that. Probably also Iota.

That's very true. It would be a fallacy to say that its only bitcoin that has a future; altcoins also have a potential for survival and growth. Ethereum for example has a strong grounds of hope for investors in the future

i prefer to say altcoins have future, but, it depends on its popularity and value. altcoins have same purpose in cryptocurrency world, but we can choose few of them  which is better and user friendly of trading, without worries we face in times of transaction trade. alternating coins is have a big contribution in digital worlds because its have a big rule in the new era.

Yes they do but because of bitcoin price keeps rising, the exchange rate for altcoin to bitcoin volume lowers but the price stands.

In my own opinion altcoins or alternative coins are for short term only but there is a chance to get big profit if you  buy in low price . Even though theres a lot of competitors(altcoins) no one can defeat btc in term of the price and the demand of it I think because btc is the first crypto currency release in the web . My technique in altcoins/ico I join there bounties and when the ico ended I will sell it immediately or wait to pump atleast 50% of its price

Altcoin also has a future. Altcoin is almost the same as bitcoin, the price can go up and down anytime. Not all altcoins are of low value. Some altcoins are also of high value. You can invest altcoin, if the price starts up you can sell it.
A long term investment altcoins are the best choice. these coins are cheap and best to buy, and surely some coins will grow in future. But before investing on any altcoins, you have to do a lot of homework because we have many shitcoins in the market. My opinion just concentrates on top 20 coins in the coinmarketcap site you will get some good altcoins to invest in this list.

of course altcoin has a future, but not all altcoins have a good future, in my opinion, altcoin that will have a good future are:
1. ETHEREUM because it has the ability to make payments by Peer-to-peer without having to use a third party.
2. LITECOIN Like bitcoin, litecoin can also be mined, used as Cryptocurrency and can be traded to buy goods and services.
3. MONERO is a virtual currency that is more focused on privacy, so then monero becomes more secure and can not be tracked.
4. RIPPLE because ripple is a very strong focus in the banking market, real-time completion.
5. DOGECOIN this altcoin as in addition to tips on forums, Dogecoin is also often shipped for donations in fundraising (such as social fundraising campaigns).
6. DASHCOIN is a strongly focused cryptocurrency on privacy (using anonymous technology) and fast speed in its transactions.

those altcoins above are need to be consideration.

I couldn't agree with you more. Your reasons are pretty much on point. Clearly, alternative coins really have great potential to be better everyday. This is what most of us often tend to miss or overlook since we all get our attentions pulled into bitcoin. which is not that bad since bitcoin really can give great profits. But, if you try and look at the altcoins present, some of them are even far more better than bitcoin and if they get to have better audiences amd attention, i think they can surpass bitcoin. Although it may not be possible now yet, since bitcoin is thousands of steps ahead of any other crypto, there is still a small possibility. And i am thrilled just thinking about it.

It looks like many coins that have nothing to do with decentralization, like XRP, are still around after many years, and at high market cap. So it's reasonable to say that many other cryptocurrencies, with much better decentralization and new features will still be here for years.
But speculation is not enough to maintain them sustainable. So the point is, will people find a real use case for them before all these things crash?

For me yes, but you must do research first. because some altcoin is good, and some altcoin is maybe bad. To become aware, observe their marketing status and also the roadmap to show if their plan is going to affect to their coins? and maybe their twitter page if their always active and keep updating. Try to search about them. before you buy altcoins that you look have potential. goodluck bro

if I myself believe that altcoins has value in the future because now many people know altcoins, so chances are that altcoins in the future will be very influential, what more people people are now using altcoins as a transaction, so chances are in the future will be more many more use altcoins as a transaction.

For sure they do a have great future. Let's say that bitcoin is the mother of all and altcoins are its offspring, meaning the offspring will adopt the great values of the origin and will improve it but basically no one can replace bitcoin (we all know the reason why). But in my opinion the only altcoin that can go up to the same level is ETH.

The short answer is yes. There are several generations of crypto currencies each adding something to the table. I think we are yet to see our future mainstream currency, but we are getting there.
