Altcoins do have a future but not all. It may reach the state where BTC is right now and may be more useful when that time comes. It's not new when there are some coins that didn't make it or just collapsed, because digital realm is also a world of survival for the coins, the better the characteristics the more chances to stay and be strong enough to reach the future.
well ETH sure has bright future, at least as long as ICOs are popular
Some coins have different and specific functionalities, which are different from bitcoin. Just look at ethereum for example, you can still have faith to that.
I think that some altcoins have a really shiny future forward of them like ethereum ,ethereum classic, monero and litecoin. All these altcoins are extremely intensifying and you can anticipate great development from them.

Don't just hold or invest blindly, there are a lot of altcoins where you can see they have a good potential in the future so don't just focus on few coins. Always put in your mind that if bitcoin continue to grow, altcoins will also follow because they are a big market

i believe that altcoins have a future also like bitcoins. though not all of the altcoins since not everybody have a potential to convince people to invest. but there are lots do. that is why i also invest altcoins just waiting for the value to rise.
we still dont know why? because it is the same as the bitcoin before we do not know that coin has future like now but we should now that every coin has a future that future can be good or bad and that future may depend on the dev team

Yes off course, altcoins is really have a bright future, because altcoins is also a good to invest for, so iam surely to say that altcoins can survive in the future and can bloom also very well in the future, and there many altcoins that is increasing popularity very well just like ethereum, ethereum has a bright future. 
we know that this world is full of risk taker you do not know that altcoin is a scam or not but we should now that not all altcoin are scam you should do your own research in order for that for you to avoid getting scam

Yes, future is bright with the altcoin but finding the good potential coin always good to hold as long as possible. So you need to find the good altcoin which growth in terms growth and expanding their business.

Yes it is, there are some altcoins that has a good future like Ethereum, Waves, Utrust, Kmd, Xem, Rlc, Adex, these are the coins for me that has a good future, so better to hold em in a long term too.

Well, if you invest in bitcoin, it is like you playing safe in this industry so why take a risk in investing in altcoin that you think will rise in the future.
