I agree with what the other friends are saying now is the price of bitcoin is indeed the highest but not close the possibility for altcoin to have no future maybe even over time can run simultaneously and for altcoin can last longer with packaging and different ways , but must be clever as well in choosing it.
altcoin really has a future, but not all if you see now there are many altcoins that have no value or even dormant. This is due to the absence of the organizer company so as not to attract investors.
altcoin must have a platform with a clear investment management so no more projects will deceive users, very different from bitcoin where if one altcoin ends with a scam, then another altcoin will get the same stamp, so far no solution is able to simplify this and there are still scam projects hanging around, this is clearly ruining the dream for a better ecosystem.
Altcoins are also cryptocurrencies. Like bitcoin they are also very volatile. Everyday you have to fight your own emotions whenever you check the coin market for price if you are a holder of a substantial amount of altcoins for fear you might lose them. So i think as one day one rises up in value and the other day another crypto goes down, so the fate of altcoins are also unpredictable. For how long they are going to last and stand. 
Some Altcoins have some excellent team members. I believe they have a future and they update the code on github every week.

I'm not sure about most of altcoins and I only use some altcoins such as ETH, doge etc. For altcoins that do not have good potential and not many demand I do not think there will be a future for altcoins like that.
I think altcoin is very very have a good future, especially old altcoin like eth, ltc and ripple. They have the opportunity to continue growing and replacing bitcoin in the future. I'm sure not forever bitcoin will be at number 1.
I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.
What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?
I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

i do.believe that altcoins have its own future ,this altcoins are trying to compete with btc, but its for the people to choose where to invest on how the altcoins will make its way to.survive in future.. its for us to choose.. I do not think Altcoin future is in the traditional banking system though Altcoin future will partly depend on the success of Bitcoin. The future of finances and investing would be totally different from what we are seeing to presently! Cryptocurrency will be running in parallel to fiat and cryptocurrency would probably win because it smart, effective better and cheap! Yes of course! They really have a future, even some altcoins where fails in getting there success some of them take other people to the moon I mean some altcoins give the people to take them a big earnings in terms of holding them for a long time that's why some investors like to invest their money in some altcoins that they see their investments will grow.
It depends on the altcoin that you are talking about. If you talk about eth, then I can say for sure that eth will go beyond our imagination and will pursue the footsteps of btc. So it is better for us to invest into eth right now, when the time is right. Maybe the price of eth is currently going down right now. But you must keep in mind that all altcoins price always depend on the btc price. So you do not need to worry about eth. In the other hand, there are a lot of altcoins out there especially some new project from various ico that create a lot of various new altcoins. Maybe it is time for altcoin to evolve and not just follow trend.
They have a bright future which the industry is developing and improving all the time. The project are getting better and they are very innovative in creating projects.
in my opinion, not all Altcoin have a future, only Altcoin good quality that has a bright future like Ethereum, Etehereum its development is getting better I think Etehereum is Altcoin who has a bright future.
They are really have a good future because alt coins are keep innovating and improving their project, it really helps this industry to develop. So I guess we still need alt coins for the future of this industry.

if seen from Bitcoin, Altcoin does look slower. by showing a gradual development, Altcoin looks calm. but Altcoin is also developing. so I recommend buying Altcoin. What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

In the future there's a possibility to have a big future regards to altcoins but, there's no reason to believe that there will only be one coin in the future. But coins have to show real usage and value to survive.

At the current trend we can say that it depends on the success of bitcoin, but I think altcoins has different purpose, the momentpeople get educated and begin exploring the altcoins there is a potential that the dominance of bitcoin will decrease.

I think in future, there will be more altcoins live ,not simply Ethereum, Litecoin,Dash, Zcash, Monero and will be numerous other altcoins.We require bitcoin to be the gold,and we likewise require Ethereum and it savvy contract.More highlights are expected to meet more scenes, to make the blockchain more associated with the genuine world.Also ,Innovative technology,good group and numerous other thing will impact whether coins survives or not.
I have not seen the exact type of crypto currency to run parallel with the fiat, bitcoin has major problems with decentralization and independence, as long as it does not change then until whenever they will not be recognized as a valid payment instrument.
Of the many altcoins that arise in the end there will be a coin composition that can integrate with the real-world banking system, so it is clear that altcoin has a more potential future than bitcoin. they just need time to show it.
There are so many altcoins. You cannot generalize that all are useless or don't have actual use. I hold some altcoins in my wallet and I would not like to sell it because I trust them that their value will also rise just like the trust I'm giving into bitcoins.
Of course we are in bitcoin if you are patient you can reach what you want to achieve in life.your life will be good bitcoin and you will always be thankful to the lord.
