I guess you are right, it depends on each gambler who percept their gambling capabilities, I think people who wanted to use their money with full responsibility have their own view to how much money they wanted to use to spare for their gambling, if for someone they can afford to take 20% as long as they are capable to control and manage not to exceed then  it is still good.

But in terms of irresponsible gambling, they can exceed and they can messed up ruining their finances including money that they loan.

That's the danger if you don't kow how to control yourself when you are involve into gambling.

I don't see it as something suspicious, I think that people are free to do things as they please, it's just that sometimes we shouldn't do things so badly and thinking in a bad way it is obvious that when a person decides to lend money it is to do another type of thing, for emergencies or something like that because it is what we can usually do, or because of what, most people appeal to do it. The repayment plan also includes a huge interest and people are still comfortable with it. I have seen a case where a person gets an easy-buy phone and she was robbed and the phone was stolen. I still practice the old school economics which states that if you cannot afford it don't get it. I will not take a loan to buy anything except if it is highly beneficial which will include health issues and financial profitability. Taking a loan to gamble is going to the extreme and it is highly not recommended because betting is not predictable. I will take an easy buy loan to get an item but will never take a loan to gamble.   

Why will one even gamble with a loan money,they should know that the level of risk taken is high and and may therefore reduce their chances of winning to pay up.because all their mindset will be on the fact that I have to try hard to pay up the loan otherwise doomed.

Some of my friends also got stuck with online loans because they keep getting loans from multiple companies, sometimes just to pay the previous one because they don't have a stable income yet. The downside of living in a modern city is that nobody can wait even for a damn minute, which eventually conditions people that getting the thing that they want now is better than never, even though most of the stuff they buy is consumptive products. I also have a bad habit of buying excessively, but fortunately, nothing is forcing me to take a loan just to make a living.

Anyone who has the same problem as OP likely needs more than just advice, since his reasoning is similar to a problem gambler. People are too used to have debts these days, decades ago people only owed their house or their car, but everything else was paid with cash, and if you did not had the money to pay for it then you waited until you did, but people are so used to getting everything they want when they want that they are not willing to wait anymore, so they use loans to consume now and pay later, but using a loan to gamble, no matter the size of the loan, can be a big mistake, as once that money is lost you will feel the need to ask for another loan in order to recover the money you just lost, creating a vicious circle from which it can be difficult to escape.

I completely understand what dilemma you must have went through because I've also had similar experience, mine happened several months back, it started with my usual gambling routine, I received my salary that month and I took out 10% which was the amount I agreed I'd use for gambling. I funded the money into the site I normally use and started gambling, but it seems that wasn't my lucky day, but rather than accepting defeat I didn't stop, I took more money from what was left of my salary and funded again, I kept on trying and trying until I lost my whole salary for that month, it were as if I was under a spell and the spell had only came off after I've lost everything, I because frustrated and desperate to recover my money, but i had nothing left to chase my losses with so I called my Boss at work and requested for a loan, he was curious to know what I wanted to do with the loan because he had just disbursed salaries to everyone including myself, I told him I had an emergency I needed to sort out immediately and then he gave me the loan which was more than twice my salary.
I funded the whole money out of desperation and started gambling again, and I lost everything. I became so frustrated and didn't know what to do or how to repay the loan. Well I had to work for two months without salary. This was the experience I needed to make me stop gambling irresponsibly. If it's not my day, it's not.

In the first place, gambling is not an investment so no gain using the word investment when we talk about gambling.
