I do agree with you about that blockchain is for the security purposes in which all the data transaction can easily be stored in a most efficient way and it also resist to modified all the data.

I think we really need blockchain technology in almost every field of life. Look for many innovations of blockchain technology in upcoming years.

I can say yes! Blockchain technology is highly transparent and decentralized and the fiat and regulated system we have is not transparent.  Why many words economy is in deficit today is because of the fiat system.  The system is created to make some people rich and that is why we should be able to make used of blockchain technology that will save the world economic from the hand of greedy politicians and financial institutions.

Most of the altcoins were run on their own blockchain and tokens use other coins blockchain for transaction is there any problem with it.The purpose of blockchain was security reasons not for the usage of crypto currencies.

We don’t need blockchain technology, but as long as the technology is available, why not use it?
There are many commercials talking about blockchain technology and big powerful conglomerate are in favor of using it. 

It is no secret that many advertising platforms use bots. Such sites can advertise themselves and remove negative reviews on the Internet. In the case of blockchain, no organization has control over the list of advertising sites. The fact that the site is not a fraudster is confirmed by members of the community by voting. This is decentralization.

Blockchain Technology will make lots of new things to the world generated by the cryptocurrency and people also getting profit so easier when comes to blockchain technology so the economic development will definitely need blockchain as a part of their journey if it not happened the development will definitely be affected.

If you don’t need Blockchain, then you as well does not need cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency cannot work without the blockchain and same blockchain; I haven’t seen any other thing one can do with blockchain apart from cryptocurrency. I have seen people say a lot of things that can be done with blockchain including message encryption, but none of those has been done yet. But as for cryptocurrency? Yes you still need blockchain.

There are hundreds of industries start making use of blockchain technology but unfortunately OP is against it due to serious of bitter experiences with lots of scammy coins/projects. He must understand that due to few wrong examples, we cannot ignore a versatile new invention.

It’s already being use in so many ways not only in crypto currency. If you are you will find so many companies using blockchain as source of monthly allowance provider and some are using to save their data. Banks are also now adopting blockchain and they admire the reliable way to save money with the help of blockchain as it’s well developed technology.

I think your question should be whether we really need cryptocurrency and not Blockchain, cause without Blockchain, cryptocurrency wouldn’t work and that includes the two you have just mentioned (ETH and BTC). So we need Blockchain, but there are lots of shitty cryptocurrencies in the market, it’s up to you to avoid them.

If you don’t want to be messing around with them, then you’ve got to stick with the top ten list which has Bitcoin, ETH, Tron, Ripple and the rest of them, cause these ones are much reliable than others.

Right, the issue for most newbies in this crypto sphere is that they think that this technology is for crypto only. There's a lot of usage, like in banks or other industries. So this technology is a must and companies or industries will just have to tailor fit the ledger for their usage and used the power of this technology.

We should not limit block chain technology to crypto currencies only. Blockchain is a vast technology and can be applied to many fields of life. The best thing is that it is decentralized and we can use power of distribution rather than limited centralization.

If you think that based on a shit exchange, you can review almost every other alt out there, think back. Bitcoin relies on its own blockchain, tokens rely on Ethereum's blockchain and only a few of them have got their own blockchain created by their devs. Blockchain technology doesn't rely on crypto, nor is it limited to the use of cryptocurrencies only but it possesses a wide use case when it comes to utilizing it. Blockchain is the only thing based on which the network is secure, so how can you say that blockchain is not needed here?


Well, such decisions are on based on a case-by-case basis whether they just want to keep it as an asset and when its value spikes, sell it off. It's true that at least 90% of the projects do not have any real life use case, but just as in the case of Gods, we've got castes and religions, I believe these alts work the same way by being shown to disrupt xx industry of a specific genre.



None of them have started till date to allow cryptocurrencies to be used as a mode of payment in order to advertise/pay advertisers there, so there's nothing wrong in having one I guess (unless the developers' and admins' intentions are to run away with people's money).


Same point applies here, that they wanted to "disrupt" social media industry. I don't remember a name exactly but there used to be a social website I was a part of, which paid us in USD to use their services. What's wrong in having steem then?


Have you ever given the mass pressure to your head and thought how difficult it would be for politicians to cheat if everything goes digital during voting? Blockchain has the power to do this, do you still think that manual reviews of votes with almost 99% cheating done are, by any means, trustworthy?

Indeed it’s good time to accept blockchain because it has many benefits that no other wallet can give us. So it’s best wallet to have better safe and easy investment. With passing days people are being smarter that hacking is not a big deal for them so that’s why we should use proper and easy solution for it and that is one and only blockchain.

Certainly, we need blockchain technology and this is the future of the current technological revolution. But it is worth noting that blockchain technology goes beyond bitcoin and ethereum. Blockchain technology is a whole thing and the cryptos are fragments of it in plain terms.

no not really  . we dont really need a blockchain technology because our traditional technology is already enough to develop the economy of a country .  we already reach this new world and we can say that our lives are now greatly improved without the help of blockchain  but why not implement blockchain ? if it is really helpful and can provide more security , its actually  not bad to embrace it .

Yes, I too believe this whole discussion is about what are the applications of having blockchain technology after cryptocurrencies. Because, even blockchain technology was innovated for hosting cryptocurrencies, many people started suggesting about making a use of blockchain technology in other sectors. But the real question here must be, why do we need to implement blockchain in those sectors and what are the changes effectively it will bring.

I believe all the business/domain which are about basic database handling and about preventing duplication and counterfeiting then definitely may go for blockchain technology to have them more effectively and also in efficient way. Because, blockchain technology is all about having a database in decentralized manner. So, malfunctioning will be 100% prevented.

Well, Bitcoin is the first real case of Blockchain so again its obvious that it proves that Blockchain is the new technology that can at least help a lot of sectors globally.

Yes there might be project that really don't need this technology, but I'm sure they will be expose sooner than later.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies runs on the Blockchain, so as long as we still need Bitcoin and others, then we still need Blockchain. Unless you mean apart from cryptocurrency what else we need it for? I don’t really know for sure but I have seen people mention a lot of things that can be done with blockchain, but some of them are funny and doesn’t seem like what Blockchain can really do. But I’m not going mention any for now.

Just because other coins are shitcoins and scams doesn’t mean we don’t need blockchain anymore . There are lots of things people believe that you can still do with blockchain technology.

And no one forced you to make use of shitcoins, it’s all your choice, you can choose to be making use of BTC and eth alone. It’s not a must to use other coins. I don’t even have time for most altcoins in the market, my favorite has always been BTC ,eth and xrp.
