Technically everything can do without Blockchain, but this is an important step in its development.
Blockchain has to pass this era of scam and failing ICOs to proceed further.

The need of blockchain is actually for business. Since the value of blockchain can be easily witnessed for business problems, involving transactions between multiple parties.

I think we need it, due to security. It would actually take time/years for it to be developed, then we need to wait for the public to fully accept the wide use of it. But I can still see a bright future ahead for the blockchain technology.

Yes! It is more needed than cryptocurrency in my opinion. Because blockchain technology do not need cryptocurrency to exist specially that the companies will use blockchian technology to store datas (financial). On other side, cryptocurrency needs blockchain technology to exist because it needs decentralization and immutable public ledger.

IMO, the simple answer is yes. We need it. Currently, we can compare this hype to what the internet was during the late 90`s early 2000`s. People went way overboard with speculative investment then and as such, history is just repeating itself again. The loss of value in bitcoin and all the other crypto-currencies is also just following history. Just like how there are as many useless/pointless sites that exist in the web right now, projects that attempt to blockchanize pretty much everything under sun are appearing too. At the end of the day, human nature really doesn`t change, even after two decades. Just as it is unthinkable to have a company without an online presence, we can assume that in the near future, a database that isn`t utilizing blockchain in someway will be unthinkable purely on the fact that the security benefits it provides are tremendous for any enterprise in this day and age, where hackers try to practically steal anything of value that they can get their hands on.
I think we all feel in some way, the same way you do because the market is just rampant with projects proposed on a whim with no clear basis or vision or goal or anything of concrete substance. But time will tell and the projects that have everything firmly set on the ground will build the foundations for the infrastructure of managing data utilizing blockchain to it`s fullest potential. 

If you don’t need Blockchain then why on earth do you still need Bitcoin? Bitcoin runs on Blockchain and without Blockchain I don’t think we will be able to make use of Bitcoin. And apart from being used for cryptocurrency and for transaction, there are lots of other things that we can do with blockchain, a lot of them.

Of course, we need blockchain technology especially when it comes transactions, just for example payments transaction, it's made easy and comfortable to use. By using this technology and with the help of Bitcoin we can easily transfer our fund to another place with a very smooth transaction and having transparency record in a transaction you had.

This question is same as asking if we need Internet technology in the '90s, blockchain technology is not only limited to cryptocurrencies and ICO's but it is a vision of developers who believed that the current banking system had flaws.

Blockchain technology promises programmable transactions without the intervention of a trusted third party. The disruptive potential of such innovation calls for a public strategy that combines regulation and support for innovation... without delay.

Some see it as a disruptive innovation that heralds "the entry into an era of efficiency and shared trust", others as a technology reserved for geeks that could feed the next speculative bubble. One thing is certain, the blockchain is now on the agenda of all decision-makers. Because this digital technology, which allows data to be transmitted in a decentralized, secure, transparent and uninterrupted manner, can virtually revolutionize entire sectors of the "old economy", starting with logistics. Some even think it could "uberize Uber"!

I think yes, we need the blockchain technology for good and transparency record keeping transactions. It provides faster and easier transactions too.

I think yes!we need blockchain technology for it provides us transparency transactions. We know there are lot of companies still not using blockchain but it doesn't mean that it is useless for these is a tool for easier and faster transactions.

Blockchain tech is awesome some good coins implemented it for real use which many users are also happy by using blockchain tech and to secure data
but many of the coins are simply playing with technology 

No, no... Blockchain technologies has a lot of pros, btw I can't understand what it has to do with social networks but I know other projects where it's need is bright. For example let's take land registry, some countries implemented it because it adds an extra layer of protection to data and in such cases, we really need good security. Also walmart tries to implement blockchain technologied as far as I know. One user here had idea of implementing gold and blockchain, where golds' data would be written, where it is, where it went and etc.

although many projects do not use the blockchain system, but I think we need and need this blockchain system, because with this blockchain we can check what is already in the transaction and with this blockchain system we can find something new in cryptocurrency currency technology and this bitcoin.

The idea of blockchain technology is the most productive of all that was invented in the last 10 years. It simplifies most processes, intermediaries, corruption and speculation, makes all transactions between people transparent and accessible. But there are always those people who want to get a quick profit, get rich on speculation, deception. The creation of new coins and tokens in the eco serves as a means of collecting investments for the development of the blockchain,its introduction into our lives in different spheres of activity. And often this is used by scammers. You can not scold the idea because of the actions of unscrupulous people.

Now its use is not in real life. But in the future, no other currency will be used in the market except crypto. One of the true evidence is that we have seen the crypto market in the last ten years, we understand.

In my opinion, I admit that we don't necessarily need blockchain technology since using fiat works great even the times before crypoto was invented. But since it's already there then I don't see anything wrong of appreciating it. It's a cool scientific breakthrough after all so let's cheers. Stop doubting and just feel the benefits of it. I hope you'll soon realize the real answer for your own question .
How about insurance and blockchain (Isurepal), notary and blockchain (Factcom) and others? As you will noticed, they've got a nice platform which could be useful in their own ways.
Yeah! You're right and I know it sucks. But as what i've mentioned a while ago, there are still few which are worthy of your money .

Yes, despite that some icos have made mess of blockchain by scamming people but a future benefit is what is important because some project too have proved it like etheruem.
I do believe blockchain is the technology for the coming generation.

O can't agree that we don't need blockchain. Currently it's the best technology that could be used in many other industries and businesses not only cryptocurrencies. That is why many resesrches and tests are done in order to see where and how could be best implemented. Financial industry is just one example for that. Of course there is also room for further development and improvements in blockchain so in the future I expect this to become daily as usual technology.

which is a problem not the blockchain technology. but how can a project or company use blockchain technology properly. if you ask do we need blockchain technology? yes. because blockchain technology is very useful and useful if we use it correctly.
