I think that half of your fund should be allocated for investments and purchase of BTC. And the second half of the funds is better distributed among several reliable altcoins.

Now I have a lot of altcoins. Yes, I also keep part of the BTC, but the main part of the income I get is due to altcoins, because they have an increasingly important role in the modern crypto market.

Although the altcoin is dependent on bitcoin, now the altcoin is more suitable for investment, because the profit margin is bigger, the current BTC price is too high, and the growth rate is too slow, BTC is more suitable for long-term holding!

I think so too. Now we have a very difficult situation on the market. A long-term holding of many coins can lead to losses. But I think that most alts will be very expensive in a few years. That's why you should be ready for holding your crypto for a few years.

I think altcoin has a very high risk, but gets higher rewards too, because If we really do duel dilligence, we ourselves in the coins we want to invest, we can reduce the risk of our investment later, but if we want to have coin is good for holding only with bitcoin or ethereum because the risk looks lower but also neutral has a higher and lower reward.

I think if bitcoin is growing then some altcoins can grow even better than bitcoin. The best method would be to buy bitcoin at 50% and altcoins at 50 %.

Sometimes altcoins can give us a bigger profit than BTC but it all depends on the project.
If you're holding altcoin that doesn't have a good potential then you're nothing to do with it and just wasting time holding a shitcoins.

It is not a must to hold altcoin but if it is a good on for hold, you can hold them to make reasonable profit when the value rise higher than it was when you bought it. If you research about it, there are some coin that are good for holding, if you research about it, you will find the good ones. It is always profit to hold especially if you do not have an experience of trading.

if you someone who likes to just invest, bitcoin will be the king today and almost in the future. So throw your money at alts riskier than BTC. But if you someone who wants to get more BTC, you should trading ALTS. I mean alts by design is to make more BTC. well, dyor and this not an investment advice.

yes we do need to hold some alts specially if see for the market value that it is in low tide, and others have techniques that holding some alts for a better option when time comes to choice what to release.
although bitcoin would be tge most of all yet alts would be sometimes their way to have some steps or some improvementnto compete for others.

Although bitcoin is the best coin for hold and you can make a reasonable profit but there are also some very potential altcoin that are also good for hold and you make reasonable profit because you buy at low price as they are cheaper than bitcoin and when the price rise, you get chances to make profit.

Its nice to hold different coins including btc if you have a big budget, but if you dont have any additional funds it is realy a wise move to hold some alts that migh prosper in the coming years like ripple or cardano.

In fact, many coins do not make sense to hold, now there are a lot of shitcoins that, after entering the exchange, will never grow in value, but will only fall. Therefore, only worthy projects need to be hold

I'm thinking that butter would be to hold the top 5 cryptocurrencies, because all of those tokens that we can hold right now. Or not. They shoundnt grow, they can but it's not certain. So we can just loose the opportunity.

Yup, I really recommend you doing it) I managed to participate in several ICO, some I earned quite well, I can say with certainty, for a good project, it must have a potential for the future, that it will be needed in five years. Unfortunately most projects do not have this potential. I was lucky and I came across a project focused on protecting against hacking quantum processors, and to maximize the use of all the advantages of new technologies, project Kelvin-blockchain, you need at least to consider because not every day there is such a good option for investing money. Have you heard of it? if not, check it out)

the reason alts fall along side BTC is becuase they simply don't have fiat pairs and barley any of them have an actual main net, most if not all altcoins don't have the community that BTC has and i think the catalyst will be fiat pairs and regulation.

it is true that the price of alt dependd on btc a lot and the rise and fall of alt is exponential to that of btc so if you want you can hold alt but never sell in panic or hurry

i think no.
because 90% of them are scam. they collect investors money and they slowly down to 0.000001$
i wish i hold only btc and eth.

Someone told me it is better to hold btc rather than altcoins that she doesn't see any reason why people hold altcoin. She noticed altcoins rely heavily on btc that whenever btc fall they also fall with btc. What is your take on this?

True that the alts highly rely on Bitcoin and see a gain and fall bitcoin does, but I prefer investing in alts because they  help in earning more percentage of profit than Bitcoin in the same period of time. As bitcoin is already a huge coin and has a big market capital, dip in the coin's value leads to great amount of loss.
Also, other alts have more advanced features than the pioneer like they provide more security in transactions, being completely anonymous, have less blockchain time and also can be used more than just an investment asset. Hence, they are a good investment choice.

Holding seem to be the last resort in a bearish market. Prices are low and selling  will invariably means one is selling   at a loss
