Ah!

To actively spend bitcoin I would first need to earn some xD

Not lots of people can earn btc, it's only for some precise persons most of the time able to handle a website or things like that :/

yes some of people really2 active spend their bitcoin, daily. i think in big city like NEw York or Rio,bitcoin is active spend on some daily activity, like pay coffee or buy food.

Yes in other places there are store that you can use directly your bitcoin disregarding the price volatility.

It's good so that circulation in bitcoin technology will increase it's stats by transaction's volume.

for the few places that do accept bitcoin, do you currently spend the coins you hold at any of them?

I know places like www.takeaway.com accept bitcoin and i even heard CEX.co.uk accept bitcoin in stores now too, but does anyone spend the bitcoins they have or do most just onto hold them? (Or gamble them lol)

I wonder if there will ever be any retailers that only accept bitcoin.

Yeah, I do actively spend my bitcoins, and bitcoin will reach to a new level only if we keep on spending it, as only holding will not make bitcoin that popular in future, so we need to spend it actively.

I agree with you. It must be spent even if it is small bits it must move.  Keeping it wont get us anywhere. Thanks to the gamblers that is why it the price of bitcoin is always moving. They keep it in a flow.
for me i just make a part of my btcoing in my wallet but the other used for investing.

if we keep our coins moving, thats a good practice so others may follow..As long as we are buying back, yes, we could help the price of bitcoin..  Smiley

I did try to keep my bitcoins intact as an investment...

But then i discovered two great startups (interesting, both from my home country Slovenia), that let me pay for anything without worrying about my investment.

Cashila https://www.cashila.com/
Let's me pay bills using bitcoins. Works by converting bitcoins to EUR at the current exchange rate and paying for anything via SEPA. It's great if you are from the EU. Usually I use them when paying for my gsm bill, when i want to cash out bitcoin to my bank account, or i need to pay a friend, hehe.

The other one is Reload by Bitnik https://reload.bitnik.eu/
Keeps an eye for outgoing transactions from my wallet address and every time i make a purchase - it instantly buys the same amount from the exchange of my choice.

Now i can freely spend my bitcoins on almost anything, and when i do, my btc balance stays the same.
Give them a try and spend bitcoins whenever you can Wink

At a moment I am not spending my bitcoins, I am earning and keeping it safe, sometimes I do buy if the price is affordable, I would spend all my bitcoin when the price reaches the top so that I can make huge money out of it.

You mean Virtual Proxy Network? What VPN company does have this bitcoin payment offers?

Hope it also supports the mobile version of that VPN as I regularly use a free VPN in my smartphone.

sometimes for topup my mobile,
very easy for me, so I do not need to leave my home to buy it

That is one of the good businesses and I get profit there too. My friends also knows that I have this kind of service so they go to me whenever they want a prepaid load in their phones.

I was going to spend it not in fact simply. But then you never know what can happen.
I also think that it is better to wait and see later in value.

I spend my bitcoins almost everyday, I spend it on gambling and try to multiply my bitcoins so that I can take advantage of halving in coming future, and I also spend it for converting my bitcoins to my local currency.

Gambing and converting bitcoins is not a form of spending bitcoins. Gambling is more like investing it in a website and conversion is another form of withdrawing bitcoins. I too convert my bitcoins but I spend it on paying my bills, recharges, groceries and so on but that also needs me to convert bitcoins into fiat as there is no direct way of doing it.

For me gambling is just a waste of time and money.
Regarding the spending. Yes i want to spend but I find it hard to find many shops where i can spend my bitcoins.

That is the problem that we all are facing as we don't find enough shops or merchants that accepts bitcoins as a payment method, so at a moment I am just holding my bitcoins for future, and will sell my coins once it reaches on the top.
