Yes, I agree with death penalty. Because family and friends don't deserve to lose a family member because someone killed them for no reason.

First at all I read several comments about why they are not agree with it just because of god, and I think that we can't mix laws or politics with religions, so... a long time ago I didn't agree at all with death penalty, but now I do, I just think that government shouldn't paid the live of someone who committed a crime with our taxes, it could be spent on something more useful, like science, education, etc.

At first I didn't agree with having death penalty. But when you watch the news and see all those fucked up things people do without remorse, most likely you would want them dead too, especially if you're connected to the victims. The only problem is false accusations. Lets say they hang a killer because of manslaughter and after a week later they realized that he wasn't the real killer, well shit. You cant bring the life of that man back. as opposed to just jailing them.

Yea, I will really agree about that death penalty so that those people that are fun of killing people would be afraid because that people is so confident to do the things they wanted to do because there is no death penalty, they will just pay and then later on will be freed from jail. And then they will do those things again and again, they would stop because they wouldn't be killed for the things they do. So the solution to this thing is bring the death penalty to pay their debts.

I would back up death penalty if and only if the judiciary system is perfect. I mean like truth serum kind of perfect. If this is so, the way to death should be at least humane. Last meals, final words and final phone call. They shouldn't feel pain, not in front of the public.

I agree with the death penalty, because there are many terrible things in the world that do not receive the proper punishment. Without proper punishment, murders will continue in the world.

Yes. For some serious crime such as rape, for drug lords, corrupt politician. But we also have to make sure that the person really commited crime. This is for the criminals to have fear. Because I think right now criminals have no fear.

No, because what if you did not commit the murder. and someone just framed you but you don't know who it was and you don't have enough time to find out who did it We don’t have the right to judge the importance of other people's lives. So, the death penalty should not be allowed

The death penalty is realistic. Afterward all, we can't just let killers live, because they might escape prison and kill more people. We must keep the public safe. Safety matters Death penalty should be permissible because, the importance of the crime must be equal to the crime the person committed.

I beleive death penalty is an easy way out for people who does serious crimes.May be they should be locked away with extreme hard labour for the rest of their lives

I agree with this 101%, but the problem is that if we do so then the human rights groups will go ballistic about it. They want luxuries such as Xbox games, pole dancers, and sauna in the prisons. Certain prisons in Norway and Sweden have already put this idea in to practice. The prisons there look more like 5-star hotels. Here is an example:

I do not agree with the death penalty.

I think everybody should live forever.

But many people will not accept Jesus salvation, and they will die.

Yes, I agree with death penalty because this will be a warning to the criminals or hardcore criminals to stop their crime. This will help the society to be more discipline. Also, according to the bible THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH.
The bible did mentioned that phrase but it didn't specifically say that Men will punish death to Men. It is quite inhumane if you put it that way. Although it will indeed make the society more disciplined then what of those people who really didn't commit the crime what if it is just a setup of some sort. So that innocent man will face death for the crimes that he didn't even do? That's just absurd, think about it. We should interpret the bible more carefully now do we.

I would have to say that I agree with death penalty. The main reason is the fact that some crimes are definitely unforgivable and unforgettable, in my opinion, and the perperpetrators of those crimes should be punished properly.

Yes. Crimes such as child rape are definitely of the "unforgivable and unforgettable" category. Once a child is violated, the scars will remain for the rest of the life. May be for 70 or 80 years. The damage is permanent. So the culprit must also be punished accordingly. But I have a feeling that the death penalty may be too lenient in such cases. I'd go for torture.

I believe that god is the only one who have the right to take our lives but if you living in this world like an animal who ruin other life, like you rape a girl because the girl can't fight with you, i guess it will be an enough reason to kill some one. if that kind of person will not be killed. many innocent people will be destroyed life because of them. So I agree with death penalty.

The death penalty should only be used when a person has murdered at least a few people WITHOUT A DOUBT. There have been cases where people have murdered, but found to be innocent only after they had already gotten the death penalty. For mass murderers, they should get the death penalty. Not so for people who have murdered just one person under questionable circumstances

You are saying that a person can be punished with death penalty if he already killed people.  People and not person.  So you mean he or she atleastb killed two persons for him or her to put him into death penalty for punishment?  And of course those who will sentenced death penalty should be guilty beyond reasonable doubt.  That is the law and judges are not that naive to know what is the law.

Law and justice are not always the same.
We can not guess all life situations. Each case is individual. And therefore the judge must decide whether to apply the death penalty.
I'm not against the death penalty
