I believe that we just borrow our lives from God. And He is the only one who have right to take them away from us.

Yes God  has the only right to take our life back   But if someone have done sins that are unforgivable like killling people.  I would agree with death penalty.

For me I am not ok with death penalty,
I preferred let the person have a chance to repent and dont do what he did..They might punish him like clean the toilet everyday, go farming and of course to read the bible.

I am not in favor of death penalty as well.  The suspect should be given a chance to have a new understanding about life.  How precious our life would be.  But if if he doesn't change at all and commit crimes again despite of the chancr that was granted to him.  Then death penalty must be the punishment.

Second chances should not be given to criminals.  That's why more and more people commit crimes because they know that they will br given a second chance after committing a crime. Especially rapist and murderer.  Give them death penalty.

I agree with your statement that this life is a gift of God and only God is entitled to our life and death but in the case of criminal law there is the application of capital punishment, where the death penalty is given to the perpetrators of serious crime that can result in the loss of a person's life or more, the death penalty can be given as a deterrent effect, so that people do not wish to commit crimes to others. So, I agree about the application of capital punishment to the perpetrators of serious crimes.

I do agree of death penalty.  I want justice for the victim and their family.  They should carried out once they are found guilty.  I don't feel sorry about it.  At the first place they shouldn't have done that.

My only problem with the death penalty is how long it takes to be carried out. If someone is found guilty and sentenced to death they should be dead within 10 minutes of the ruling. People staying on death row for years makes no sense.

There also should be no life in prison. If you are going to sentence someone to life in prison might as well kill them. What is the point in keeping them alive other than wasting taxpayer dollars.

10 minutes is too short to file the appeals, but I am not happy with death sentences getting delayed by 30 or even 40 years. But since the death penalty is an irreversible method of punishment, the convict must be allowed to file at least two or three appeals. But these appeals must be completed in a maximum time span of 3 years.

I do not think we should reward murderers by keeping them alive in air conditioned prisons where they are fed everyday. If they are worthless to society they should get out. I think that the death penalty should only be given out to those who are definitely guilty and do agree that it has been given out to people that may not have been proven 100% guilty and that is wrong as mistakes can be made. But if someone is beyond a doubt guilty they should be given the death sentence instead of life in prison. I do not want my taxes going to keeping a murderer alive. I would rather have my tax money go to killing those murderers. And it shouldn't take 20 years either. We need to get rid of lethal injection, unless they killed their victims in a humane way , and bring back shootings or hangings, they are quicker, and cheaper. I understand that we want our criminals to be as comfortable as possible during their punishment but why do we want them to even be comfortable. I have gone a long time without killing anyone and it hasn't been very hard! If they take away someone else's right to life, then they are themselves giving up their right to life.

Yes i do and i really hope that someday, every murderer and rapist gets excuted for what they did. Some disagree about excuting rapists, well, rape is a horrible as murder; they both end victims lives. Death penalties will defenetly reduce crime all over the world.

I disagree with the death penalty because
1. who are we to judge who should live and who deserves to die?
2. Killing someone for revenge reminds me of Jigoku Shoujo. You get revenge for what they did, but in return you have killed them so you are just as guilty.

Death is quick and easy.
Fucker needs to suffer well before he dies so he could realise what he has done.
Isolated camera for the rest of his life with nothing in there i think is a good idea.

While I believe that the death penalty is a legitimate tool of the state to restrain otherwise unrestrainable threats, I believe that it is an inappropriate punishment in most modern cases due to the effectiveness of other methods in retraining threats to society. I'd like to see the death penalty applied as infrequently as possible but executed swiftly in the rare cases that it is used.

The problem with death penalty has always been the unjust handling of cases in which innocent people might be given the death penalty simply because they want to have a suspect. . Death penalty is useless because rich people can only manipulate the case to be thrown at the innocent poor people.

I agree with the death penalty but with reservations. For example, if we have a better and faster judicial system then why not go for it? But be sure that it is humane and not cruel.

Yeah. He created us and he is the righteous person to get it. But God allows death penalty particularly stated in old testaments. So why cant we? Nowadays, people commits heinous crimes. Death penalty for them. Nothing to be afraid if you were doing right. But death penalty is what we need today. They were humans and they have brains to ponder what they are doing. So dont act like innocent and requesting for second chances. How about the lives of the victims? Think of it.

I think this is too much for any kind of crime..God give us life but we human decide their death..I think this shouldn't done..If the crime is big, ruller can force him/her to live his /her in prison..I think it is the best punishment for them..

Going to prison is like a paid vacation for many of the most barbarous criminals. That is one of the reasons why I prefer the death penalty over prison time. The prison system needs to change. Those who go in to the prisons come out as battle-hardened and hardcore criminals. There is no reformation of the character inside the prisons.

In many countries, prison conditions are too luxurious for criminals who commit cruel acts against civilians and can even sometimes release them early for good conduct. Secure the society from such crimes can only be executed.

Yes... This is especially true in some of the Western nations such as Austria and Norway. Ever heard of Anders Behring Breivik, the psychopath who murdered a total of 77 kids in Oslo and Utøya? He is currently incarcerated in one such facility and from what I have heard he will walk free in a few years from now. This is an example of the sad state of affairs in the EU.
