I usually buy coins and invest in coin top ranked because the movement of the coin price is so much that you can get very much profit.

not always because in my opinion top ranked coins sometimes don't have very much price movements so I prefer to buy coins that are still cheap but have very good and useful developments.
No, not always. I sometimes invest on altcoins not in the top coins. But it is very risky. You have 50 percent of chance that they will become worthless. But who knows? Some are surely good coins.
In the cryptocurrency market there is no coin that we absolutely say it is a top ranked coin. Because every coins are crash severely when the market go down tread and every coin also increase in price 50x to 100x and even more than this if the bull market is coming and running. But, the coin that are never listened of it's name is benefiting more than the top rated coin. So, I always search the newly listed coin to bet.

Though the market is vulnerable and volatile but you can be sure of more safer than investing to the cheao and newly created cryptocurrency,the stability and reliability of top coins like bitcoin,ethereum and litecoin from this coins are tried and tested by the years of existence .As advised I am trying to learn the basics of crypto first.

But ofcourse nothings perfect here so this is up to you if where to invest as long as you know what you are doing

Does it always work? I doubt it. Yes, market is very, very vulnarable, so it may work today but it won't work tomorrow. So the main question here is price of this coins. Buy whatever you want if you can afford it.
If you are a good trader or a lot of knowledge you can do invest even its top rank or not. Trader is a trader as all said. But i suggest before you take a risk just study first what is crypto and how it works.

It’s a good advice to invest on top ranked coins if you’re a newbie because it's safer than those new listed coins. If you going to invest directly in ICO or those new listed coins the risk is much higher as those had not proven that the community will support on those coins. Although those new coins can give you huge profits when they make pumps to x500 or more but if you lack of knowledge you will only get FOMO. Learn first and invest on your knowledge in cryptocurrency to build your confidence.
Yes, I invested in Bitcoin, Stellar and Ethereum and those of this coins are for longterm investment. I don't think that some other coins that have not on the top 20 coins is the best coins because of this bloody market.

It works but still investing on new listed coin/crypto is also the challenge part here . You can gain x10 of your investment or lose 90 percent of your investment .
