it will depend on the market situations because if the altcoin is down, I think it's not a good idea to sell altcoin to have bitcoin only because we cannot get much of bitcoin for doing that. but if the altcoin is up then we can sell all of the altcoins because we can get much bitcoin and this will be good again if bitcoin can increase also so we can get much money to sell the bitcoin. but this will be back for what our strategy and our plan because if you decide to be a holder, then this will not good for you to sell right now.

In my point of view, I honestly believe in bitcoin rather than altcoins. When I have altcoins I just only wanted to trade it to bitcoins, wanna know why? Its because bitcoins is has future in the market not just like altcoins it has a posibility to scam their. And bitcoin is one of the leading crypto currency today. And it is prove and tested in the blockchain. All is gonna do is to buy bitcoin and sell it when the price goes high. So everytime I earn altcoins I always exchange it to bitcoin so that I can convert it in other currency.

Most of the alts are really not be trusted In terms of long term Investment. If we are looking for a better outcome, of course we choose bitcoin because Its proven effective that has a capability to make you earn an expectable Income by the time It will arouse Its market value. Yes I accept that concert of strategy. Cause in my own experience ive done it many times. Cause bitcoin is always be the best for me. Alt coins are just alternative not forever.but bitcoin is the real cryptocurrency and the blockchain technology is aiming that bitcoin good. Yes of course! But I prefer to transfer it in Ethereum in this moment because I think it is more stable than bitcoin as I see last year even bitcoin reached the highest amount of price in the market. Ethereum still has the stable price right now and most of all my altcoins are getting price down that's why I sell them and put it in Ethereum to make some stable profit.
I never want to invest on any of altcoins by selling my bitcoins because I knows that bitcoin has more potential than any other coins so it will give more benefits in future if we hold until,if you invest on altcoins you can invest the amount from profits of your bitcoin.
Well i think about that also we cannot actually sell our bitcoins in order to buy altcoins, as we all know bitcoin has more potential than other coins. If we hold more in bitcoin right now maybe in the near future it gives more benefits than other altcoins. 
I do the similar thing but instead of bitcoin I preffer to buy Ethereum. Do bounty, earn alts, exchange them to Ethereum!
Such decision depends on current situation on the market and what altcoin you are going to sell or buy. Because when bitcoin drops, altcoins drop harder and when it grow up, they recover faster.

Well yeah there are so fantastic altcoins too in the international market. Some people just consider the market full of bitcoins. It is true either but still there is a good number of altcoins and we can call them altcoin family. These altcoins are little bit unstable than bitcoins in field of popularity. But few are really gorgeous and have so huge fame and pace. They all made the world technically beautiful.

Actually it depends on the situation, after the price of bitcoins has been dumped then probably ethereum price will rise up so much and that is the time when altcoins will be so much profitable, and all you need to do is just wait.
Bitcoin itself is a good investment, if you have generous amount of btc then I think you don't have to sell it just to buy some altcoins especially in this kind of bearish market. Oh yes, it's a good time to buy some alts but its not a smart move to sell your btc. I suggest that use your other money in investing to some alts then add some coins in your portfolio.

I prefer the other way, since the prices of bitcoins today is dumping then i prefer investing a huge amount on ethereum because the price of bitcoins today is currently decreasing and altcoins is affected so we should invest while the prices are still low.
I do not agree with your strategy. Why ? Because, what if altcoins are down? whether we should keep selling and also forcing to buy some bitcoin when the price is high. That seems unlikely, so my advice is to invest in both to create an opportunity. Because bitcoin and altcoins both have good potential in the future.
