Well all of us have a different strategy to earn in crypto world, selling your altcoin and invest to bitcoin is not a good or bad idea the price are below $10k so meaning it has a dentency to create a good profit in the future.

Sell my altcoins to buy bitcoin only in situational condition like when bitcoin price is on down so that i can buy many bitcoins.
But not always like that, sometimes i hold my altcoins especially if the altcoin have big potential.

I also disapprove this strategy. If you are the holder, you could buy bitcoin and altcoins for a long time. It will be more balancer strategy.

That is right, we all have different strategies here and those depends on our capabilities, how we focus and our time, if we do lack of time then there is no way we can do day trading, what we can do is just to hold and do trading, if we are really interested in day trading then we must sacrifice our time for us to focus on it.

I am afraid it is not true. Bitcoin is the most unstable and fluctuating currency at the moment rather it is world’s first most volatile and profitable asset. Stability is antonym to BTC. The reason is, we do not have this asset in a large supply while its demand increases with time pushing value too much. Even a buying or selling of a small scale can make a big difference in its price. Selling alts for getting BTC is a wise move.

For me, it depends if the altcoin is really potential why would you sell? But if your alt does not have potential then sell it for bitcoin and wait because I know bitcoin is potentially capable of mooning in the long run.

Even they have more use cases and more technology, none of the altcoins or ICO's or tokens are successful as Bitcoin. Bitcoin is better investment than the all remaining crypto currencies.

In my opinion, other people's analysis is only 30% helpful in trading others, the remaining 70% is how a trader judge for themselves market conditions. that is not a good idea.
it is better if you use Ethereum . because Ethereum has a good chance that it will pump like last year .
and Ethereum is better than bitcoin.
i did that thing i sell my Alts then convert them top bitcoin. i just did that because bitcoin is i only know how to convert it into a fiat cash. .
but now i know now how to convert Ethereum to be cash out into a fiat cash

This depends on the market trend. Without seeing the trend, you cannot decide if you should sell alts to turn back to bitcoin. Sometimes you should sell bitcoins to turn back to alts. This is a reality.

I disagree with you mate, that selling all your altcoins and to have only bitcoin is not recommended, because bitcoin is the most secured crypto that you may have compared to other altcoins, and bitcoin is the most recommended crypto by almost all crypto holders, so how could you say that holding a single crypto (bitcoin) is not recommended?

But i think its depend on investors if they want to sell their altcoin and buy bitcoin so it will not wrong because maybe they really need profitable money and that's why they convert their money in bitcoin, because when currency is going to down so it take some time to again high and that's why many people are fear from losing of their money.

Well, many men- many minds and as a result many strategies. I won’t claim that this strategy is doomed, but my one is different: I think that it’s wise to keep some alts too. Crypto currency is very unpredictable, and since we don’t know which coin can rise up to the moon, it’s better to deal with several coins.

Selling altcoin to buy bitcoin I do not think is effective enough to gain an advantage. It's better to keep altcoin and bitcoin available, and be patient to sell it when the price is on the rise. Because altcoin and bitcoin are equally hard to predict, so nobody knows which gives more profit.
