Frankly speaking i rarely open the white paper not to talk of reading. It is bad practice anyway and one day if someone runs away with your money you may find somewhere in the white paper that 'We reserve the right to run away with your investments without prior notice if this project doesn't go as planned'

It is very important to read whitepapers as it is your hard earned money that is going into this investment.
Although it can be burdensome but I take a particular plan when going through whitepapers.
1. The project (what it does in laymans terms)
2. The team (background and past experience)
3. The hard cap (ideally lower than $35million)
4. The road map (any working prototype?)
If I can have all these checked out, I'm good to go.

Always research before you invest

The truth is I don't read all the time, there are times that I read the whole whitepaper and sometimes only a glance and there are times that I don't read at all.

Of course I read all the whitepapers. I do not know how otherwise? You invest your money yourself, you are responsible for this. It's your choice to read or not to read. But, if I hear advice to buy something, but I do not have time to study thoroughly the project. I do not buy, although it seems promising.

Absolutely yes i am reading the whitepaper of my subject to invest to know the real output of the project and there proposal in the future, such as business decision makers in a particular vertical, or technical decision makers that face a particular type of problem or need.

White paper is a document that states the problem and what solution a coin or token is trying to solve. You gotta read whitepaper for you to be able to make your own personal judgement on a project and understand what they are trying to do. But if u want to make your decisions fast, you can just follow some of this cryptocurrency influencers on social media who just pick a coin or token they think will be good and invest on it but some of these influencers are paid to do that.  So their judgements are not 100percent fair...just take your time and review the whitepaper before you invest your hard earned money.

Most investors don't bother reading whitepaper i have gone through a whitepaper of a project just once people only buy the hype around a project without additional research. It isn't their fault some whitepaper a just a copy and paste.

Yes Im reading it especially if Im translating on it. Before doing any translation, I always read the most important pages of the whitepaper. You don't technically need to read it all but just head for those important information you want to know.

And if you are an investor, how come you will not even take a look at the whitepaper even for a bit. It's like just buying the hype of that project and taking a risks.
This is the advantage if you are a translator which you would really able to read up whitepaper. Not on its technical details but having only a summation would be enough for you to know on the possible potential of a certain project and as a translator you will really able to read such thing. For typical investor we should really need this thing because we are just investing blindly without any basis.

Reading the white papers is like reading a business plan. So the short answer is NO! I may breeze through it. That's about it though. Those things are so tedious, meticulous and just down right boring. I prefer going to the website of the project and reading what they have there and watching what ever video they have available as well. I also like looking at their development team, their roadmap and their sponsors too. If they can't win me over that way, their white papers won't either.

Yes, I do have a glance of whitepaper of any project I want to invest because in there is alot of information and the roadmap of the particular project. Some investors don't bother themselves with the whitepaper because they feel its tedious but they invest blindly. Some of them thereafter lose their money because they do not care about the roadmap of the project.

Sometime when I approved to translate bounty campaign. LOL. But I almost don't read WP of ICO project cause it's no need with bounty hunter like me. I just need to care about their develope team and amount of capital they get in their presale. If their sale ended in just a day like CMT or some other good ICO projects it must be a good project then I decided to join their bounty campaign. LOL

Hahhaha  Grin Obviously it’s important to read whitepaper to have some strong info about what you’re trying to invest in. On the other hand it takes too much time and i know it’s complicated so i think it’s better to know others opinion, the team and whitepaper all together Smiley

I stopped reading the whitepaper. I tried sometimes. But the problem is, when you have no idea about the area the project want to found, you cant evaluate if the project is good or bad. So i just read the one pager, and when it sound interesting, i inform me in boards, telegram groups and reddit about the ico or project. For me the opinions of the people who invest or dont invest in the project are much important then the whitepaper. Because im nod able to fully understand the whitepaper, i need the opinions of other people.

For an investor it is a obligatory part to read the whitepaper. I think this is less relevant for a bountist. As for me, I read 1 of 10
