To be honest, I just scroll the whitepaper but I am not reading all of it. I am not an investor so I don't need to go through all the hassle just to know about the ICO. If you were planning to invest, I would recommend that you read all of the white paper. Knowing where your money is going is a must. Be patient, read, understand and feel if the ICO is worth your money. You will also notice how detailed an ICO can be if you read the whitepaper. Good luck to all investors!

Let be real. How many of you guys actually read the whitepaper? I read whitepaper sometimes, but reading multiple of them can be a burden and a headache. Do you guys got any tips on getting through whitepaper a little faster. It killing a lot of time. Thank.

If I have to be honest, I myself do not read all the pages every time.
But there is no other way than to read everything very carefully word by word.
In my opinion, there is no faster way.  Smiley

Personally I read every white paper before an investment but I only invest into an ICO every 2/3 months.

It is very important!

Yes of course, I read carefully the whitepaper if I have the intention to invest in some projects. I don't invest in any project before reading its whitepaper, and before being sure that it have good concept, clear whitepaper, and experienced team behind it. Investing without this conditions can lead to fast and great losses.

If im honest, not very often! Most i inform me about an ico on a page like icobench or in this forum. When they is a ICO im really interested in, i read some site of the white paper, but never all. Because im just to lazy. Most of you will say its dangerous acting like this, but i dont care. I dont have to know how its going to work 100%, everything what me interest at most is the price of the coin/token when its get listed. So theres always somebody who reads the whole whitepaper and warn the other people when it looks like a scam ICO.

If I am going to invest in ICO I will read not only the whitepaper, but everything else I can put my hands on. I am risking my own money and if I misjudge I am going to lose. So whitepaper is boring, but important.

If you do tend to read up all of them 1 by 1 then it would really give you an headache. Regarding into this situation I do only choose up some potential projects and that's the time I do read up their whitepaper. Less consumed time on reading up all. Just select which you do see some potential. Always read up summarization at first and if you do find out that sounds good to you then read on what you must read.

Yes seems whitepapers are less important now... unfortunately.
We are doing an ICO in April for our Coins4Favors project (www.c4f.io) and I think a good whitepaper helps to differentiate from scammers and unprofessional projects, but it seems less and less people read them.

We spend quite some time to describe in great detail the concept and how we make our project sustainable in the long run.
If you are a long term investor, you should be interested in how the project will grow in value in the long run. Getting ICO money and then deplete that over time without a solid business plan behind the project is a guarantee for failure of your investment in the long run.
Yet, if I look at the number of page visits, the number of people signing up for the Pre-ICO information and the number of Whitepaper downloads, it seems less than 20% read the whitepaper.

Reflects the hype of the market and how people jump on catchy buzz word slogans more than sound project concepts these days.
Consequentially it is getting more difficult to find investors who are really interested in the long term potential of a project and even we have given in to the fact that many investors are not willing to spend 1 hour to read a 30 page white paper.

As a consequence we have also added a 3 Minute video which outlines our project and the concept https://youtu.be/EXquipYf7xk, but I would hope that it is only a starting point for any serious investor.

Anyways, I hope those that read our whitepaper will buy into the concept and will help us develop the Coins4Favors global market place for mini-jobs and favors around the world.

Good luck everyone with your crypto-investments  Grin

Whitepaper is a must read if you want to check project and know more about them and their products. How can you contribute if you don't even know what this project is about? The funniest part is that people who don't read go to Telegram and whine that they didn't know about some things/features of project lol  Grin
Definitely yes,I read ICO project's white paper.Because white paper is one important thing to look for when you invest in an ICO project and in order for you  to determine whether an ICO project are legit or not.And in the same way you can determine also their bountry campaign if its scam or not.So for me,I do prefer reading the white paper, specially when you want to join bounty campaign.

I often read the main part of Whitepaper of the ICO project that I invested in. But with the project that I just joined bounty campaign only I often don't read their WP but I spend few minutes to take a look at their roadmap, dev team and amount of money they got after their pre-sale is the most important thing to find out good bounty campaign to join Smiley

I do not read a whitepaper. the whitepaper can be copied or changed only slightly. and everyone can think of something. a good ico can be better seen on google. and write in the ico reviews the experts.

I do read the whitepaper! I start to remember the number of pages and compare with others. It actually gives me more confidence in what I'm invested in after reading a nice whitepaper.

Honestly, I'll read the whitepaper of a project if I'm really interested in the announcement, I'm not reading in its entirety, but only in essence, like the daneel project, which I think will be one of the best projects for the year, please read the roadmap and whitepapernya in www.daneel.io

Guys if you do not read any whitepaper or a roadmap please do not start complaining when you lose all your funds investing in crypto. A whitepaper should be one important part of your research.

All the best,
