I agree that investors can't read such amount of white papers before funding. But instead of reading long paper, you can make your own research about market, team, idea..

I think at the moment it is meaningless to read white paper, now it can write for money a good developer , it does not affect the project and the fact that it can be a Scam, there is more need to rely on luck, especially at this time, I of course if I invest in ico, only with people who collect pools

As many have said, I research the hell out of any project I am considering investing into.  I feel it is silly not to...why just throw your money blindly at something?

Sheer laziness?  I get that.  But I like profit too much to not know all the facts (available) about my prospective investments.

In my opinon if you really want your investment to be secure you should read the whitepaper. You can realize how much to invest and how the things can go for you. Also there are a lot of scam ICOs, and you can find that by reading the Whitepaper, watch the Website and researching in the news about the specific ICO.

Of course I read whitepaper, it is obligotary. If you want to invest in project, you need to learn its purpose, background, team, total supply and value of tokes, and so many things more. So, I don't understand how to invest without reading whitepaper.

If you want to know what does the project provide you probably will read just one little piece of it. But if you are going to make investment in to the project you have to read the whitepaper at least 1 time

I do not read the whitepapers because nowadays, the scam projects will also present a fascinating whitepapers to attract their potential victims. I only rely on the rating site to know what to invest into and what not too.

Reading a whitepaper seems like a very daunting task for which we do not opt for since mot much useful information is given there but since most of the icos are scams you need have had a thorough verification that there is no contradiction in the information provided

Before when I started  in crypto world I don't read the white paper .I only joined in bounties but now thay scam is rampant and unavoidable, I  am reading it and keep a research if the project is scam or not. When it convinced me that it is not a scam that is the only time I join their bounty.

yes, i read whitepaper of ico projects, this is just to know and acquire information about the project. I read the whitepaper so that i can understand the project, the basis of the project, on which blockchain it is built on and also how the road map of the project looks like. The aim and objectives of the project should be understandable by the investors before investing in a project

It is important you study the white paper because you get know the details about the technology and how effective it is implemented. It is also important because, you can easily spot out the token metrics, strengths and weaknesses of an ICO if need be before making the final decision on whether you wish to invest or not.

This becomes important when you want to be a part of project for long term. Else if you are only looking to make quick money through trading, I think it is fine if you miss some whitepapers. Wink

Cheers!!

You will always understand whether it is worth investing in a project after reading his white paper, usually on it fraudulent projects are pierced. I always reading it myself before I take part in the project and I recommend read it to you too.

Yes i do read the whitepaper everytime i want to invest in an ICO and when i want to participate in the bounty campaigns. Because the whitepaper is important for you to know what is the coin all about and what the coin can do to benifit its investors. Whitepaper is one of the imoprtant aspects in an ICO , without it the project will seemly be a scam , and there is even a roadmap and its also important to know the roadmap of the project.

sometimes, I do not always read whitepapper, road map, and the developer team. I also believe that not everyone reads whitepapper before following ico.
They better begin to read Whitepapers and see what the community is saying about the coin. There is a lot of things that you could learn from doing that.

How else? I'm generally shocked by what people write here. Do not believe them, because those who write that they allegedly do not read, in fact, everything is read. which they do not know anything. It's a casino.
