You have a point there mate , Doing a bad thing is what you make your self ashamed. And for us gamblers aamkng is not a bad thing unless we get addicted sl much and gambling ruins our lives.

For me its gambling is nothing to be ashamed because we enjoyed playing it because it is so much fun.

I'm quite open about that I smoke weed on a regular basis and that I do drink occasionally although it is more accepted here in the Netherlands. Once you're doing something that makes you feel ashamed of you shouldn't be doing it. Same goes for gambling in my opinion, there's a reason someone feels a shamed of it.

For me gambling is always a way for getting pleasure, and i don't feel shamefull for doing that.

I am addicted to gambling but I find joyful and happiness while gambling. I only play with the small amount so that losing money is not a big deal. Gambling is not bad, the ways people treat gambling have made other think that gambling is unsafe

Some countries declared gambling as illegal so the community will think you are doing something that is against the law and therefore that is something you should be ashamed of.

And try to be a habit of tour in the beach, hotel and etc. It is happy to be there every summer or vacation of the earth in the world. So try so that your money will be in a good hands not like in gambling which is your money will lost in the game. Try it its a fact its win win solution because you feel relax in a row.

It's illegal because of the stupid people who gambles irresponsibly and will do illegal things due to their immaturity in gambling. In general, gambling only gives us the entertainment we are looking, if gambling is illegal, why are the government have their own gambling business which is the lottery (refers to my country), in addition they choose what casinos to legalize or not.

See as long as gambling is not banned in one's country he shouldn't care about the society because it's his life if he wants to gamble he will and no one can stop him. But I don't think many people do care if it's banned according to law because I have still seen many people gambling by using vpn. I don't think that is a crime because porn is also banned but many people watch it using vpn and I don't anyone has been arrested till now.

It is obvious that even if gambling is illegal in your country the chance of getting prosecuted is very low since there are more pressing concerns for the police than someone gambling their money, but the chance is not zero, so in a way you are gambling in this case with your well being.

If I lived in a country that was culturally against gambling then I would be ashamed to gamble so I would probably move to a country that was more culturally consistent with my values. I would not do anything that I felt like I had to hide because it was socially unacceptable. I gamble but it's not socially unacceptable where I am located. I do not hide my activity but at the same time, I do not generally share too much of my accounting information unless it is necessary. I don't hide what I do, but I don't share what I do either.

You're roght in there dude. It depends on how far you'd go for gambling if gambling is that much importsnt for you. If it's illegal in your country, then move or avoid gambling. I dont think a lot of people would go as far as leaving their families and lived once for the sske of gambling legally. If gambling plays a very big part in your life, then i think there's a problem there. If it affects how you interact with people especially family, then there's something to be ashamed of there

You should feel more "unsafe" rather than being shameful. It's illegal. You don't know if somebody's secretly watching you and already took a photo of you gambling online. He can blackmail you for that. He can make you do things, and if you refuse, he's going to turn you to the police. I love the saying, "Know Thyself". You can lie to others, but you can never deceive yourself. Once you feel shame, then you truly think, deep inside, that what you're doing is wrong. BUT, if you were to feel shame due to public opinion or because others say you should, then that's another matter entirely.

But still I will say that we also have to hear of some positive people as some people cannot decide for their life and like if a person know that he is gambling for fun and is not losing money of their living then they are at good but when a person is addictive and he is losing everything then it is the time to hear of them.

Losing everything probably the worst thing that would happen into our life, we will only not lose our money but most likely our family as well especially if we are the one who do for a living. Gambling is good but we should treat it right, do not allow to let gambling take a bigger portion of your time as the next thing would possibly happen is addiction.

Your family is more important than gambling as in terms of entertainment, there will be a lot to be invented in this world that will give us more fun than gambling.
