Agreed, we should not be ashamed to be a gambler. We should be ashamed if we get in big debt because of gambling, or we get too many negative effects because of gambling.
Being gambler is human rights, why should be ashamed? It is not a criminal for me so I'm OK if many people around me knows that I'm a gambler.

Well its the effect gambling has on some people who can easily lose control over something they're interested on. Its the same if you're too much into alcohol or any vices. If you're drinking too much, then you should be ashamed of the efftects it will do to you or what it may make you do. Same with gambling. It would be shameful if you end up borrowing money from other people's hard work just to support your gambling needs. Sometimes people steal lie or trick others for money just to gamble and that should make anyone ashamed of themselves

We will eventually reach into that situation if we will not control our urge to gamble, it's fun if done within our limit but once we go beyond on it, we will experience the stress in gambling and we will not be please with small winnings and force ourselves to recover loses every time.

That is not a good attitude and we know that but once our emotion is more dominant, it's hard to control that is why we are at risk of losing our precious things in life. You know, if you will not take care of yourself in gambling, you might be financially bankrupt and that is too shameful.

The amount that I use for gamble is quite low as well therefore I dont really feel anything even when I lose while some people are completely different , they were triggered when they lose

It's sad when someone makes fun of one instead of supporting when one had lost huge money. that's why one has to gamble for fun only or not tell at all, it'll hurt you more when you'll be made fun of.

that bullying reaction coming from your love ones is really shameful i feel you mate, as i remember a good friend of mine who lend huge amount of money just to place bet for serena williams with assuring himself for a win but suddenly williams didn't, and until now he's still paying for that debt together with our funny jokes he really shameful for that mistake.

Well if I got that kind of treatment from them, I will just ignore them until they stop. It also happened to me but I never got bully by them because they know that even I lost big amount of money, I have other source of money and they will only think of it as .. just a lost regardless of how big or small the lost was.

That is why I don't like to play in front of my loved once. And I will not play with my close friends also, But yes it's really shameful if it happens like this. And in some country, people don't care for anything they will play without any tension. Because there gambling is not illegal and people will not care if you lose money in gambling.

Well thats a fair answer, but if we think about how proud are we if we lose our profit which is intended budget for a family needs then we must be ashame for that. We should not make it as good example if we don't really value what we have lost, because its so shameful if we are not a profitable gambler and you always remained losser, during your betting games. Being proud is good when you are wealthy in playing with your profit, but shameful to most people if the small money you have for the family was loss for gambling just for hoping lucky winnings which you think profitable if you win.

believe me if you live at a religious/discipline environment , you will feel how shame you are caught make money through gambling.
they will never respect you and even consider you as a ragtag not skillful etc.

Than you have to move on and change that environment. If they are not clever enough to accept modern science and rational behavior, than what's the point to hang out with them? Find yourself a decent company without medieval preconception.

I've been gambling for living for almost 10 years and i never felt any shame, and its hard to imagine for me - why should i? Nice income, totally free movement around the world all year long and many other pros with only one major con - dispersion, which isnt that hard to control as long as you do follow your bankroll managment.
