No, I am not, there is no reason to feel ashamed when you are a gambler. Atleast you are honest to them by not keeping it as a secret. It will be more shameful if you are keeping it and telling them that you are not a gambler and one day they caught you. For sure it will affect the relationship between you and those people that you speak with and telling them a lie about your self.
I don't feel any shame or remorse in betting or gambling but I know that some religions frown upon it and even ban doing it outright.

I admit that in my religion they are not condoning gambling and it is being discouraged but they have reason for it. Because that will lead us into being self-centered and all the time we are going to think about money, if we gamble we have a chance of earning high profit very fast. But we have our own beliefs that as long as we are not hurting other people's feeling. And I am not ashamed that I was a gambler as long as I don't step on other people's personality and feeling.

Be matured before you play gambling, it's not good to hide to your family what you are doing if you feel you are not doing bad. There is actually nothing to be ashamed of because we are just doing it as part of our entertainment. Don't take gambling seriously, and never make this be part of your daily activities in life as it will not bring good results to you if you cannot handle the stressful situation anymore.

Meh. No. Just don't gamble more than you can afford to lose and you don't have to worry about going home and feeling like a worthless sack of crap.
I've never felt proud of gambling. Happy with a win, but definitely never pride. You need to work at something to be proud of it. You can't be proud of a welfare cheque either.

But every time I lose whether it is big amount or small. I'm removing my status as a gambler because I find it shameful that way.

yes I'm ashamed that I'm a gambler.. but being a gambler is hard to loss.. I'm a gambler since on senior highschool and I'm good at it and earning profit from it that's why I like too gamble.. being a proud gambler won't do anything so much better to hide it and not be proud being a gambler.. do you think that gambling won't let you to become rich ? I'm depending on gambling for my future..

Those people who are seeing us to be not responsible are the ones who are judging gambling as a bad habit when we became irresponsible with the things that we should be taking care of. We just need to know our priorities and focus more to those important and when we are sick of those things, gambling is just there to remove our stress.

Many gamblers here in our place are being told to be a greedy and lessoned learned. They are broke and has many debts to many people here. I can feel the shame from them, its like overflowing from them. Though some really dont care, they still gamble and they dont give a damn thing to what others say. He earn money, he loses or have fun, thats what matters.

yes to me i also do not fell shameful for bitoing a gambler and i think the reason is that i play gambling in a limit which prevent me from loosing a big amount that i cannot bare, therefore i never feel shameful for being a gambler.

So people around you are okay with you gambling? For me most my inner circle feel okay with my gambling things, maybe its while im addict to betting but i had a full time job and always gambling with my spare money as bankroll, so even i lost it all will not me die at all

I can't say that gamble is a good habit due to many people lose and even bankrupt, so I've set some rules to prevent fall into the same mistake and nobody won't know if I gamble with money, keep in secret.
