Why not you play it as you play other games. In my country gambling is not legal and consider it as a sin, therefore I like to play it anonymously because people do not look to gamblers with honor.

You can feel proud about something but be afraid that others will find out and make you feel shameful for that. And that's, I guess, this case as well.

Shameful for what? Gambling is not wrong it's just a passion there's nothing wrong in it. Yes many countries do not like people who bet but it's nothing wrong, what's wrong in gambling it's your own money and you should have full right to bet or double bet, no need to be ashamed by it. I say just gamble wisely don't overdo and only play with extra money not your regular.

People don't have the right to judge but they do usually. And that's the point of my question.

Regardless of our aim in gambling we have the right to gamble and not to be ashamed of it as long as we do not steal the money we use in gambling, it's our money so it's our decision on how to use it. It has been noted than gambling is just a form of entertainment and as a person we have all the right to be entertain to relieve the stress in life.

In my country, people do not judge someone if he gambles or joins a casino. People here accept gambling and consider it as a type of entertainment such as watching TV, playing sports, etc. And gamblers here do not feel shameful at all Cheesy

Those situations is real and people do really have different perceptions regarding on gambling and to the people who plays on it and we cant really blame them since its their belief but for us gambler we are just doing it just to have fun and satisfy our leisure times.Its not really bad to play gambling and its not a shameful thing unless if you are getting addicted on it and spending too much money without control.

Yes being addicted must be an acceptable reason for treating a gambler to be ashamed for his action. Unfortunately many people are having common perception toward all gamblers, that is really indigestible and honestly it is hurting me for being a gambler sometimes.

Even I got addicted to gambling, I am not ready to agree that I need to feel ashamed for being a gambler because I'm not doing illegal things like robbery or anything. I just spend my money for my entertainment.

If you are gambling for the sake of getting fun and do not risk your money on gambling and do not chase your money or others money in gambling then you are not doing any bad thing because you will not try to harm yourself to waste most of your money in gambling but you will only bet with that money which you will be able to afford for entertainment.

You might live in a place where everyone feel "it is okay if you are a regular gambler nothing wrong"
But if you live in an environment where gambling considered as a bad thing and people dislike it very much.
You may will never tell anyone about what you did, it is really shameful thing to do.

No I Never Shameful For NY Gambling Activities Because I Only Do Gambling For Fun and I Only Do Gambling Sometimes and Also I Mainly Do Trading and I Never Suggest anyone to do gambling Everyday Because it's not Good For their Future and it can Wreck their Life.

very honestly yes, i feel the shame as in my country gambling is totally banned therefore if i caught playing gambling it will be really feeling sham therefore i like to play gambling online as no one can know about my identity there.

I don't feel shameful for doing gambling.Because it's my money, I can do anything whatever I like.I won't give importance to others word.My family and friends some times tell me about this, I just tell them to be quiet or leave the place.And I don't consider gambling as bad thing because I can control myself.

No I don't feel shameful. I used to play poker and pay college with it, and every time I said that to some of my friends they would definitely show a strange expression, like thinking I'm addicted and don't know that I was doing, but I never really cared. Not all of them were like that. I guess some didn't understand which is normal, so it was there problem not mine really, so no reason to be shameful or hide it.

Interesting! It isn't easy I guess, but good for you!

Yo, that's good to know man that you are not ashamed to be called a gambler, it is a privilege man that you can lose some amount of money that others can't. And for those gamblers that are ashamed just because sometimes they are losing big amount of money, they don't want others to know what is happening to their gambling career because that is disgusting to them.

Well, they gotta be good at the game before they go dancing around the hood after a bad session....Probably wouldn't be dancing around in a zebra print thong after losing the bankroll to some card shark though....unless, of course, they're advertising what they got left to sell.
