Just over 1BTC now and growing! not enough i need more BTC
I think I'll get 10 more and that's it for me. I'll let it rest for a couple of years to see what happens with bitcoin.

I think this is a very important Question from an economic and accessibility PoV. A bitcoin is ~ $300 , if more than half of BTC users do not have 1 BTC+ , then it reveals a lot about accessibility of Bitcoins and the general economic stature of it's users. There were some numbers posted about which group holds the most BTC and i think that such information will help us make sense of the many issues BTC faces.

I live in a first world country and don't really know many people who have $300 to put on a long term speculation. Living standards may be high but money flies out as fast as it comes in for millions of people and more often than not they're left with less at the end of the month.

I'm in the yes camp.

I can see a deeply unsurprising pattern developing regarding gambling. Whodda thunk it?

I managed to own 0.035 bitcoins.  Im broke like 95% of this forum.

Try to grow it with strategic gambling.

Don't try any type of gambling. Just join Coinomat sig campaign and earn 0.1 BTC / week.

I've made around 5 Bitcoins total throughout my work within the community. I've lost some of that due to gambling and I also spent most of it on several purchases (largest one being a PC). Right now, I don't have 1 Bitcoin, but I should within a week or two.

Earning 1 btc isn't too difficult IMO. However, holding onto it might be for some.

Or you can just buy 1 btc instead of obsessing about earning one doing a gazillion faucets, signature campaigns and other random stuff..

I had. Unfortunately I sold 2 of them.

I sent .7 to an address... then decided it would be a great idea to burn the passphrase and memorize it...........

I found the wallet like 5 months later and was like OH NEAT... oh crap.. 4 hours of trying.. zero luck... fak.

Yes, and not just 1

I have a the same 30 Bitcoin I bought back when they were cheap. I plan on holding them forever. I would think most people on here own at least 1 bitcoin.

With 30 Bitcoin you've already make it. Most of us are still trying to make 1. Ideally, we all want to be on the 21 Bitcoin club and hold on those like there's no tomorrow. That's how you win the game.

You can earn 0.1 BTC weekly with your signature, so it's not that hard. I often buy account and make ROI with signature campaign and then sell the account with good posts under the normal price so I make really good and fast money. You can try it Smiley

I'm also surprised so many senior and hero members do not hold 1+ btc. Back then (2011-12), it was pretty easy to earn several bitcoins for doing simple tasks...  for example, blockchain.info gave 15btc bounty for translating their blockchain.info wallet and you could do it in a day or two. There were many other similar opportunities.

A lot of Sr. members started after the dec bubble.

My friend told me about BTC when it was $70 the next time I heard about it it was $600.........
yeah when i first heard about it the faucets gave really high amounts of money compared to what they give now, i regret that i did not buy a lot of bitcoins back then

Well, let's start.. Cheesy

Like 1 year ago I had my first 0.05 BTC and I managed to make it to 1.5 BTC on LuckyB.it, unfortunately, I lost around 1.3 BTC so I had 0.2 BTC which were used for some Digital Goods. Now, I have around 0.9 BTC and I'm slowly going up. I lost about 3 BTC total on LuckyB.it, Primedice, BitDice and I won't touch any gambling site again. So my answer is NO. Or better NOT YET Cool

btw I really hate when I have to spend my BTC, am I the only one? :/
