The era of airdrop has gone. Now what is happening in the market can't be called an airdrop. Airdrops are supposed to be free of charge, but current airdrops require users to spend their money to do transactions, provide liquidity in the liquidity pool, buy NFTs, and many more things. Most of these activities require fees, and all of those new protocols earn a lot of money from them. Some projects, like Arbitrum and Optimum, gave a good amount of money as airdrops, but due to airdrop farming, later projects will not be able to giveaway an amount like them.
after several times I participated in airdrops the results were very disappointing, where many aidrobs were scams and the prizes were very small and did not match what was promised, but I personally really understand this because aidrobs are gifts without having to work first, I not interested in hunting for aidrobs anymore , currently I only focus on campaigns that clearly provide weekly payouts,
Even though Aidrob gives free prizes without any complicated tasks, I personally am not at all interested in Aidrob because there are so many Aidrobs circulating that are scams and fake, I personally tend to choose bounties or campaigns because they have more potential to make money. , even though they have a complicated job, I prefer to work with them,
Scams and hacks are getting more and more difficult to avoid these days. I've become extremely careful and maybe paranoid to a certain degree abt clicking any links online. Only kinds of rewards-related contents I engage in have to meet two requirements. First is that comes from a renowned name in the Web3 industry. And 2nd is that I only get rewards for completing a certain difficult task of some sort because then I can be assured a degree of authenticity. For instance, getting a reward for completing my KYC on Bitget or any reliable CEX like that.
More and more scammers are starting to work to defraud many people. There are many methods they use, starting from sending emails containing strange links and malware that will infect the target device. The use of malware is now increasingly becoming a dangerous thing, there are many of my friends who have lost their assets in their personal wallets, without any clarity about the method. Now you really have to avoid new platforms or unknown links, so as not to fall prey to scammers. I also always click on the official link and check whether the link is correct or when sending assets to another wallet the address is correct or not. Double checking is very important to do so that it is safer and there are no errors. Almost all airdrop videos on YouTube are all scams, do not try hunting for airdrops using YouTube videos, those airdrops links in Youtube videos are all fake links and once you connect your wallet your tokens will be wiped out.
I am doing many airdrops before expected in this forum, if I do 100 airdrops then I would get payment for 20-30 airdrops. There are many airdrops that have to pay payment fees, actually they were scams.Quote

Yes, you are right, there is an official Telegram group and you can definitely get paid if you do airdrops. They do not scam. I don't airdrop anymore since I came to this forum. 
Airdrops has became more complicated and we need to do all those stupid things with are social accounts. No real person would fill their social media feed with repeated shares. They are just for fake accounts. I now only participate in signature campaigns as I don't need to share my real name, social media, phone numbers and can enroll with just my Bitcointalk id and telegram. Though the quality and demand for signature ads has been degrading drastically and its getting difficult to find a good one.
Who don't want free money? If you need to spend some time for a project and they give you money though their token, then why not hunting airdrop? Although there are manu reason, People start disliking airdrop. As new airdrops are valueless most of the time and valuable airdrops have hard process to quality user! I means there are many step you need to overcome and then team will eligible you for their airdrops and sometime People get nothing even after doing a lot for that project. But i love to hunt if with all possible step
some people favour airdrop because they certainly just want the free money despite the fact that 9 out of 10 it will be complete useless shitcoin that belongs in trash.the reason being, there has been history of massive airdrops like aptos, arbitrum and so on making people having dream of participating into such project airdrops and not missing out any opportunity to get that airdrops ever again, but we all know such project that could give massive airdrops was rather rare. so I don't think many will be successful in participating.

Most of airdrop so far are too risky to join in... Especially if connecting our wallet is involve were most of the time once you connect your wallet account become the gateway for the hacker to steal our account. This has been happened several, times. So if ever you are planning to join you must be careful and triple your research about it so that you won't become a victim by the scammers or hackers.
instances on which you would really be needing to mint or connect your wallet on which it is really just imposing the risks on losing up funds on the time that you do make yourself get involved with some scam airdrops on which this is something that inevitable or something that you would really be needing to avoid on. So far im still engaging with some airdrops but im not really that focusing or putting up too much attention to it because we know that rewards could neither be paid on or not or those tokens might have value or not in the end.
The coins that i had made out some good cash is on ARKham which it doesnt really have that much technicality on being that able to join the airdrop.
Somewhat this do involves lots of time or months for you to wait up and doesnt give out guarantees.

I agree with you maximum airdrops are now fake there are some youtubers who share fake airdrops to increase their own channel views. Most airdrops don't bring any profit, about 1 in 200 airdrops may be successful but there is no guarantee. I have been doing airdrops for almost a year but I didn't get much benefit, just wasted time. I still have many tokens from airdrops which are not yet listed on the exchange. Airdrops are now attended by many people with very low win rates. Also airdrop is now so risk that it acts like a wallet hack. So check before participating in airdrops.

This is not like before, when you could just join the airdrop without a penny.

Maybe your statement is partly true. not all airdrops on YouTube are scams. because sometimes I personally do airdrops via telegram links which require us to join their official YouTube channel to find even more airdrops.

Yes almost airdrop which we found from YouTube and another social media most of the airdrop is scam. But in telegram some times we found some good airdrop. Some times we get payment from that’s airdrop. Recently i received a payment from airdrop.
