So these are the two kinds of airdrop I focus on nowadays
Bitget and other exchange airdrops are legit but worth very low from 3$-10$. I joined many Bitget airdrops and everytime recieved only 5$. Bitmart airdrops are also good but the same case here, they are giving only 3$ worth of token. I will recommend to use mainnet which has rumours about airdrop, such as Zksync, LayerZero, Starknet and some other but remember these are not free and you have to pay gas fee.

I guess its just because these retroactive airdrops are deemed to be more worth it than some other airdrops thats why nowadays many airdrops also doing the same for the sake of attracting attention from the general masses out there.the thing with these retroactive airdrops that it does indeed require some length of commitment from us the testers to spend some money just for the sake of testing while we still don't really know whether the airdrops are gonna be truly held or not, basically it's like gambling but the reason many are still eager to follow such airdrops program is solely for the reason that it might have lesser participants.

There are some Airdrops out there that are truly giving their participants some good opportunity to earn and they are not gonna make some funny excuse when their project become successful due to the help of the people who spread their project on the internet. at the end of the day, they will gonna receive their rewards based on the things they have done to promote that project via airdrop. The only problem here is the multiple numbers of airdrops circulating the internet nowadays and every day there are some new ones added which will make it even harder to find the right one.

But in my opinion most scam airdrop campaigns are done through twitter media.They should know that obvious scam airdrops will ask some money nor even plan to have a token sale with to good to be true offer to their token buyers. If we see something impossible to achieve and the person running behind it is so suspicious we should better back off since even though we didn't spend any amount on their project but still they might collect our data's and used it on some illegal activities.
We have to see first what the projects are and what they offer to the community and see how they manage it, that might be better than just taking all the projects that are spread across telegram groups and twitter.

That is really the problem right now; they are getting your personal information, and others are accessing your wallets, which were also authorized by you without noticing. I just remember before that this kind of stuff is not required, only the wallet address and sometimes an email, and you are now good. After a few weeks, it is listed on the exchange, where all of the airdrop hunters are now going to dump it, but still, it goes up after a few weeks. Right now it is very opposite, and some will say that it is really a waste of time, but there are still others who got lucky to have airdrops, which is very rare.
I still do airdrops but not random like before, Do only airdrops from legit big profits which pays participants well at the end of the program and their is no risk of scams or hack.

I used alternative wallet address (i created to specially for airdrops campaign) if any project will require to connect my wallet in their website,but first of all i will try to find out their all of social media accounts then i will recheck to detect it real or fake project.

Almost all airdrop videos on YouTube are all scams, do not try hunting for airdrops using YouTube videos, those airdrops links in Youtube videos are all fake links and once you connect your wallet your tokens will be wiped out.
Find the project team or the o projects official telegram group and ask them if they are doing any airdrops or giveaways, this is the perfect way to expose or know the truth about any airdrop campaign.

I'm still an airdrop hunter, though not as much as I was a few years ago. even though the majority of airdrops end up being scams, that doesn't mean all airdrops are scams, don't give up on airdrops, you have to try hard and hopefully you can find an airdrop that gives you a lot of profit.
keep abreast of the latest news about airdrops from trusted links (like this forum and several airdrop accounts on telegram), don't give up and be pessimistic about airdrops, maybe you will be lucky in the future (when you find a good airdrop that gives big money).

It is true that commonly they only ask for the wallet address, they don't ask for connecting the wallets.However, if there is a task to connect our private wallets, it is better to create new wallets. Never connect the wallets where we hold our tokens/coins.
Beside these scam airdrops , there are some airdrops which gave me a lot of money, as I can say about the Maverick that was previously launched and give users some profit, and also Arbitrum Airdrop, and recently Optimism gives its users a massive airdrop. So, scammers are everywhere, we should take care along with doing any airdrop.
Right bro, I am agree with you. So many scam airdrops around but if we will research still possible to earn money from airdrops, I am benefited from two big airdrops payment, First one is Uniswap (worth 1500$ coin),
Second was arbitrum it was also another my big payment from airdrop.
Its just some very rare occasion where some really good project actually trying to make an airdrop and whether a project is good or not can be definitely judged by its fundamental.
thats the thing with these big airdrops, moreover if back then it was defi that usually gives big airdrop nowadays everything is always smart contract blockchain based that gives meaningful rewards.
