That's true to a certain extent. One of the very main reason that people strongly (apart from the belief that ETH really does good / difference to the world) believe in ETH is because of the various strong backers (Microsoft, banks, etc) which you referred to "strong lobbyist". Then again if you have unlimited amount of investment money means you can fail as many times as you want. Take Uber for an example; Uber is still burning money after years but still there are investors rushing in to throw money even though there might be no sight of profit at all.
Im not a big supporter of this coin, to me its not a currency but it does hold value, i just dont have much confidence in it becaus it could be out gunned at any moment, alot of people dont see it that way, some even go as far as to compare it to bitcoin even saying that it will replace vitcoin, thats impossible because bitcoin and etherum are two sepperate thing$ , bitcoin-currency< eather-blockchain, so it would never replace bitcoin or any other E-currency , bitcoin we know is here to stay, eather never know, we could wake up one morning and eather could be dead.

Of course I do. It is one of the coins that I can easily accept while offering service or product (And I would only accept btc, lite, monero and eth. One of the best 4 coins.) Also ether tokens are generally great.

Yes. Ethereum has gained trust from different big companies to invest in it. It has a promising projects ever since. And I would say it also gains my trust. Being in the second place next to bitcoin proves that ethereum climbs to second because of the numbers of investors, people who trust them.
I agree, i am still buying in low amounts of Ethereum and probably we may see a new beggining of ETH after this fork which makes the ethereum more fast and having a better network. 
I can't name any other coin/token, which failed more times than ETH. It's not about loving or hating it, it's all about people losing money, because of situations which can be avoided. I would care less if these ETH based projects were not asking money from the masses, but that's not the case. And believe me when I'm saying that Ethereum has some powerful lobbyists. Otherwise its price would be probably 1/5 from the current one.

Please, can you explain your point of view better? I was just thinking about investing in Eth, I don't have many technical skills to understand the details but what's does not convince you? Security?
As I can see with Ethereum it has a full of potentials. Don't you notice that most of ICO project now they Ethereum or ERC20 because they believed in eth featues. And most of the community they received their earnings from ethereum which most community got it from the campaign they joined. Especially, myetherwallet.com was the one safest thing where you store your ethereum.

Ethereum is an amazing coin with tremendous potential to grow. It is one of the most popular coins available in the market and hence is widely accepted. It is still the most popular platform for hosting ICOs as it has features like smart contracts and ETHEREUM VIRTUAL MACHINE (EVM).it also has one of the strongest and most promising teams which is also aiding in its fast growth. I support Ethereum from 2015 yet. And I saw the natural increase in the past two years. So I'm confident in ethereum and I see that the price is still rising at the right time. Ether has done a lot and has not yet completed its road map so we continue to buy it because it's the next step in the bitcoins.
I agree with you etherium is second to the btc in most active trading coins everyday plus it has in ether wallet that being used by other ether coin. I have my 100% support to ethereum

Yes, i still do. Eventhough eth is diving too deep due to the upcoming fork, still i support eth. This is because despite the challenges eth have been facing, it victoriously overcome it and proved its worth.
For me i still trust eth because there is has s lot of ico trusting this. Maybe there are some failure through eth but we can never always blaim eth for that. Maybe it is because of the neglegence of the person holding the coin that it fail to transact, that is my point.

For me I want to support Etherium becuase these one has many projects,even though it fails many times I will still support it and it can give such big effect and good feedback from others that gets benefits from it.Even sometimes it has bad effects its growth has a good effect.
