Though there can be many up and down in market cycles of a coin, not only any one but all but Ethereum based on blockchain  application platform, can not be tampered or blocked . Many companies around the world uses it  (Named Enterprise Ethereum Alliance), that is the reason i have faith in it , this is developing field so certainty can not be guaranteed.  Not only money is virtual but technology is also virtual.

If you do not support Ethereum at this time, I wonder what kind of coin you are supporting. Ethereum as great community and brilliant Developers. Metropolis is going to solve many issues including scalling. As it is right now ethereum is still faster to many coin.

I can't name any other coin/token, which failed more times than ETH. It's not about loving or hating it, it's all about people losing money, because of situations which can be avoided. I would care less if these ETH based projects were not asking money from the masses, but that's not the case. And believe me when I'm saying that Ethereum has some powerful lobbyists. Otherwise its price would be probably 1/5 from the current one.

Didn't we had enough of this?
I do not know, ETH seems to be not moving much or doing anything, many people are talking about many projects, some new and some old but almost no one brings ETH, it seems that ETH is losing some of its shine especially with so many new coins that want to replace it and take its place.
Yes I am also seeing that the price of ethereum is nowadays on a selective level as I think nowadays people have found another way to earn profit. They are now investing in ICOs which are giving much bigger profit when the ICO is end up and we sell our coins on exchange. Especially when an investor invest in the early days at the time of big discount.

Ethereum is very powerful after bitcoin. ETH have strong backers of Microsoft and banks. Ethereum have very strong technology. Top volume afterbtc. ETH is safe investment in crypto. Ethereum created very easy  way to create ico tokens in market. so i'm 100% supporting ETH.

May be you are right but still here you should see that there is something unique in this coin that is making it more powerful than other coin Because there are many coins that can easily get the better and powerful advertiser for Thier coins .
But here the case of the Etherium is much different , Here in my whole trading time didn't made much profit but still I will say in favour of this coin Because it helped the holders of Etherium coin in opposite circumstances .
If you have full memory about 2 years ago then you know exactly very well that what happened when the hackers steal lots of ETH coin from the exchange and after that owner of the Etherium coin gave the compensation by giving the same amount of Etherium coin frommhis own stock .
So here I can't hate Etherium , and will always support Etherium like bitcoin .

Ethereum is just a platform, a market. The low quality Ethereum-based project is not the fault of Ethereum itself.
Exactly this , and a good platform if you see how much projects are based on it.

I'm not sure, never been fond of ethereum personally and still isn't.

But i think the community has matured a lot and it's probably a much better time to accumulate now compared to June-July when everyone was hyping about Ethereum. Still though, ETH probably has no real life uses other than being a platform for ICOs.

I wouldn't go all in with ETH, since it's already climbed so much. I'd at least wait for the dip.

Ofcourse I'd still support Etherium. Etherium at this point is continuously growing from the size of the community to its demand and market value. Problems such as what you've mentioned is already overcame by Etherium. It is now widely used in ICOs which makes the demand high that positively affects its market value making it high. So it is still worth supporting.
I would still support the project even if the price of Ethereum went to nearly nothing. The price will only be within a very low level for a short time.

As you see those lobbists are to big to let crash ETH now but when some economy crisis will hit ETH will fall nicely. There is only one thing that can make ETH vanish better faster cheaper alternative and that will be enough to forget about it. Now few projects is challenging ETH, their edge is that they are building  system knowing mistakes of ETH and by design avoid those problems. Those will be next lvl krypto.
At its own ETH won't die to many bagholders there.

Offcourse I still support it,  becasue in my opinion ETH is the biggest and succesfully altcoin. In my mind ETH can be bigger in future than Bitcoin because its own blockchain technology is uniqe and use by many other party to development project.

If I had to invest between them right now I would go with Ethereum, with all these forks we don't know what can happen to Bitcoin.
But ethereum will got another hardfork in this month but that was interesting hardfork rather than hardfork segwit2x for bitcoin itself. As you can see that generated bitcoin gold shit token.

Ethereum is like the wild wild west, a lot of new, groundbreaking development going on. It's obvious it isn't the safest thing. It will break, a lot. If you're OK with that, go for it.

The thing that bothers me the most is the almost complete centralization and the ease with which the code could be used to run large private blockchains for corporations.

Longterm prospects of Ethereum look dim.

I've never been a great supporter of ETHERIUM or whatever, though I have to admit that BTC has some drawbacks, which ETHERIUM (in theory) could make up for. The problem, However, lies in that fact that ETHERIUM is totally unfit as a system- it fails all the time and is truly supported by it's founders, who, are said to have left a "backdoor" for themselves.

The problem for me is not the technical advantages of ETHERIUM, but much so it's ability to grow and make me extra money. Do I believe in ETHERIUM as in Bitcoin or say DASH? No, I don't. Will I invest in it? Yes, I will cause we all are well aware of it's ability to make us more and more money- grid is what truly kills us... and just like myself- the vast majority of us are rather griddy
