I also continue to use, MEW is still a good, safe and easy to use, we can not just because hackers attacking in the recent time that we have bad thoughts about it, that is a false thought and negates all the contributions of MEW to us. Nothing is absolutely safe in this virtual world, any system will have errors, sometimes hackers exploit the flaws and steal money. I do still use MEW as my ERC 20 wallet for my coins. Lately, there are news that the mew was being hacked and there are transactions that are not operated by the user but by the hacker to transfer the coins. But regardless of the situation
Of course MEW is the safest wallet for everyone because if using the ETH platform everyone must use this wallet to invest in ICO projects or keep ETH for long term goals. I think hackers can only exploit a few vulnerabilities of MEW and they fix this in the shortest time, which makes many investors feel safer when using MEW.

The wallets werent hacked, only the DNS which the official mew website are using but it is already fixed, and those people who transact that time are the only ones who got hacked, because they were redirected to a phishing site where these hackers managed to get those keys easily as these users doesnt know that the DNS servers were hacked. The hack was dealt with swiftly and the site was back in no time. I do feel bad that some people lost their coins but it does not change the fact that myetherwallet is one of the best ether wallets out there

I like MEW and don't plan to change it, I use it with ledger and I think for those who don't have ledger or trezor should buy one, in case this is not possible now, follow all the rules how to keep your data and keys safe, don't open the links or emails  you don't know and everything will be fine. There was no hacking, there was a replacement for DNS servers and these are different things. People who value their money look at the address of the site and the certificate that is specified in front of it

I am still using mew for my wallet, the safest way to keep hackers from logging on by using keystore / json sidebar files properly on your computer in a secure folder

Yes, I still continue to use MEW. I think if you follow all the safety rules, then all will be well.  generally it is better to use multiple wallets on different systems

Why not? MEW have fixed this issues with dns servers, so it is still safely to use it. Always pay attention that your connection is securely (green lock at url line)

I use the MEW since I consider it to be no less secure. Of course, the hardware purse is more secure. If you adhere to the basic safety rules, then you can use the MEW.

I'm becoming increasingly afraid of using wallets, I think that Trezor is the most reliable way to protect your crypto assets.

Am still using it. The idea is to keep your private keys safe. To be in the better side, just import to imotoken app and be free from using the website for transaction.. This way you will always be protected..

I use MyEtherWallet locally version https://kb.myetherwallet.com/offline/running-myetherwallet-locally.html. So any phishing attempts are impossible. You can also generate transaction on offline machine and just send them to the network throughe the hot wallet

With the recent hack, I assume a lot of people will switch to something else, what do you think?

I still recommend using a hardware wallet over the safety benefits though.

Everyone should make a decision for themselves. I do not see any danger in using MEW, but only through the hardware wallet. Such wallets can be used even on a computer infected with viruses. I do not understand the stubbornness of people who do not want to use hardware wallets. It's very convenient and safe.

Of course, a hard wallet is way much safer than a web wallet. Regarding the recent hacking incident, I really think it is always a risk that everyone knows. So by using myetherwallet.com everyone agrees that hacking is always something around the corner and has to be avoided all the time. It is rather sad that a lot is victimized by it. Until now, I am still using MEW and luckily I am spared from such incidents.

I am still using MEW. The reason is 1) I am using a hardware wallet (no chance for my private key to be hacked). 2) I am using the legit chrome extension of MEW, which is a offline version of MEW (not affected by the recent hack).
Yes my friend.Me too I am using MEW but when I update my coins, I will never used my private key so that I can avoid hacking my account because I am using Etherscan.io for inquire.

As of now after the news wanted for 2 days of suspension for ERC20, I'm so careful right now taking a step for logging in my MEW Account but I believe of this account and no doubt about that.

I'm using MEW's legitimate chrome extension, which is an offline version of MEW.
I think I will investing in a cold storage case such as Ledger or Trezor
as all online trading platforms and online cryptocurrency packs are likely to be visited by hackers at any time.

I am still using it carefully. Instead of posing a risk of loss by logging in to mew, I suggest people use Ethplorer to check out the blockchain itself, to see if the funds are still there.

Using a hardware wallet everytime the safest way to protect your money. But if you need to make a transaction, you can use mew. There is no danger.
